BUTTON 5: Film type # 2
The KODAK Multiloader 700 Plus may be “loaded” with two different film types
of the same size. This feature might be helpful if, for example, a film with lower
contrast is required for thorax examinations. Similarly, a single coated film maybe
required for a high resolution “extremity system”.
In order to prevent a film mix up, the CASSETTES and MAGAZINES used for film
type #2must be coded by a KODAK Service Provider. The KODAK Multiloader
700 Plus will then automatically recognize the special CASSETTE and load it with
the special film without you having to press BUTTON 5. Should it be necessary
to load cassettes without codes, BUTTON 5 must be pressed.
The selected special function is valid only for the current cycle.

41
A thermoprinter is integrated into the
unit. Please ensure that only suitable
roll paper is used. These rolls are
available under spare parts product
number 918 8961 from your KODAK
Parts Services.
Please open the drawer below the
magazine door. The drawer can easily
be pulled out approx. 20 cm using the
recessed handle.
Please do not force the drawer to
open further, as, otherwise, you might
damage the unit.
Inserting a new paper roll
First, release the black roller by
moving the release lever away from
you (towards the KODAK Multiloader
700 Plus). Remove remaining strip of
paper. Insert the beginning of the new
roll and reset the black roller by
moving the release lever in your
direction.
Start paper feed by pressing Special
Function Button 3 until the paper has
safely passed the rollers. This requires
pressing of button 3 four times
(should you carry on pressing button
3, each pressure would feed in the
paper roll one step further).
