IMPORTANT

The AC model should be fitted with a fused spur incorporating an all pole disconnection device
providing 3mm contact separation in all poles.

Isolate the unit from the electricity supply before removing the cover.

WARNING: The siren generates very high sound levels and contains rotating parts. Mount the unit
at least 1.5m clear of normally accessible areas.

The siren will operate in any orientation and may be mounted on any flat surface or conduit box.
Ensure that airflow around the rotating impellor is not impaired.

NOTE: If the unit is to be used outdoors, or where water may drip onto it, the siren must be mounted
horizontally, and should only be sited in sheltered locations not directly exposed to the effects of
adverse weather conditions.

INSTALLATION

Fix the backplate to a flush or surface BESA conduit box 50mm centres or continental switch box
60mm centres. Feed connection wires through base aperture, connect to terminal block.

For AC model connect to required terminals to suit 230V or 110V supply.

Twist the bayonet fixing of the siren clockwise on to the back plate and secure with side plastic
clamping screw.

INSTALACION:

Ponga la base en una superficie plana o una caja BESA de 50mm o continental de 60mm.
Pase los cables a través de la apertura en la base, conecte al terminal.

Si la unidad necesita tensión CA asegúrese usar el terminal correcto 110V o 230V. Gire el ajustador
de la sirena hacia la derecha contra la base y asegure con el tornillo plástico adjunto.

ADVERTENCIA SOBRE SEGURIDAD E HIGIENE
La sirena emite un sonido a partir de un rotor abierto, en el que podrían quedar atrapados los dedos,
por lo que deberá montarse fuera de alcance. El sonido de esta sirena causará malestar y podría llegar
a dañar los oídos por un período indeterminado de tiempo, como consecuencia de haber sido montada
a un nivel demasiado bajo y dentro de un recinto cerrado.
