Extinguisher Use
THIS extinguisher is ideal for fires in the home such as burning curtains,
furniture or fuel fires caused by spills on or around automobiles, lawn
mowers, etc. Potential fuel fires may be avoided or minimized by covering
the fuel with the contents of this extinguisher after the spill.
This extinguisher can be used on small cooking oil fires, such as frying
pans, by always observing the following precautions.
1. Turn off the source of heat to the fire as soon as possible.
2. When discharging the extinguisher, stand back at least 6 feet to
prevent splatter of hot oil.

Mounting Your Extinguisher
Secure the mounting bracket provided with appropriate hardware to
ensure the extinguisher cannot fall as personal injury or property damage
may result. Wood screws (not provided) should be used for mounting in
wall studs. Mounting in drywall requires special hardware (not provided)
such as toggle bolts, mollies or proper screws and inserts to ensure
adequate strength. DO NOT mount in drywall with wood screws alone.
Five-Year Limited Warranty
We warrant that, for FIVE (5) years from the date of purchase, this
product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This
warranty will not apply to any product which we determine was subjected
to misuse, accident or alteration or was operated or maintained other than
according to our instructions. In addition, this warranty only applies to the
original end-user purchaser.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THIS PRODUCT,
INCLUDING WARRANTIES FOR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE
FIVE YEAR EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD LISTED ABOVE.
OTHER THAN THE WARRANTIES LISTED ABOVE, WE MAKE NO
OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
The purchaser’s exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be, at
our option, the repair, replacement, or return for credit of the product. IN
NO EVENT WILL WE, OR DEALERS OR DISTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE
TO THE PURCHASER OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR INDIRECT,
CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. Some
states do not allow such exclusions or limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts, so the limitations or exclusions above may not apply to you.
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also
have other rights, which may vary from state to state.

Do not mail or ship a fire extinguisher without first calling Consumer

require specific procedures to be followed for shipment of fire
