for GSM Mobile Testing
Class #H 7216 Option 401
This course will teach experienced GSM radio test
programmers how to take advantage of the designedfor-manufacturing remote user interface features
and new reduced instruction parallel processing
(RIPP) architecture of the HP 8960 Series 10 wireless
communications test set for GSM. The goal of this
course is to teach students how to write simple and
fast production code. During the lab section of this
class, students will design a production test scenario
and write code to implement the test with help from
an experienced HP instructor.

GSM Mobile Station Basics and Measurements
for Engineers

This course will teach students about the GSM cellular
system, including the basic GSM technology and ETSI
standards. The class will provide insight into the various
measurements and their specifications and how to
interpret results. It will use the HP 8960 Series 10 wireless
communications test set to demonstrate different GSM
measurements and provide some hands-on experience.
