With the HM-982RW,you can simultaneously record a CD to a CD-CD-R/RW disc
and a cassette tape.The HM-383MD let you simultaneously record a CD to an MD and
a cassette tape. So you're ready to easily create a CD or MD for your portable CD or
MD player and a tape for your car audio in one go.

Digital Input/Output Terminals Enable Direct Connection Of
Digital Components
If you connect a digital recording
component, such as an MD recorder,
to the Optical Digital Output Ter minal,
you can make direct,high-quality digital
recordings of CDs.
And connecting a DVD player to the
Optical Digital Input Ter minal enables
direct digital (stereo) recording to a
CD-R/RW disc.

Twice And Four Times Regular MD Recording Time With The HM-383MD
Kenwood's HM-383MD MD recorder is MDLP (MD long playing mode) compatible.
This means you can enjoy stereo recording for 160 minutes in the LP2 mode,and
320 minutes in the LP4 mode. So now you can record two or three CDs on a single
MD.Of course , recording in the regular mode is also possible.
