At Kambrook, we believe that safe performance is the first priority in any consumer product, so that you, our valued customer, can confidently use and trust our products. We ask that any electrical appliance that you use be operated in a sensible fashion with due care and attention placed on the following important operating instructions.
Important Safeguards For Your Kambrook Aquarius BPA Free* Kettle
• Carefully read all instructions before operating the Kambrook Kettle for the first time and save for future reference.
• Remove and safely discard any packaging material and promotional labels before using the kettle for the first time.
• To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, remove and safely discard the protective cover fitted to the power plug of this kettle.
• This kettle has been designed specifically for the purpose of boiling drinking quality water only. Under no circumstances should this product be used to boil any other liquids or foodstuffs.
• Do not place the kettle near the edge of a bench or table during operation. Ensure that the surface is level, clean and free of water and other substances.
• Do not operate the kettle on a sink drain board.
• Always ensure the kettle is properly assembled before use. Follow the instructions provided in this book.
• The kettle must be used only with the power base supplied.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle for lifting and carrying the kettle.
• Do not place anything on top of the lid.
• Use caution when pouring water from the kettle, as boiling water and steam will scald. Do not pour the water too quickly.
• Do not remove the kettle from the power base during operation. Ensure the kettle has switched off after the water has boiled or reached the selected temperature, before removing the kettle from the power base. If the kettle is removed from the power base during the boiling cycle the kettle will automatically switch off.
• Do not use chemicals, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle.
• The filter could become damaged with time, please check regularly and replace if found damaged.
• Ensure the kettle has cooled down before attempting to clean the filter and appliance
• Always fill the kettle with water between the minimum (MIN) and maximum (MAX) marks on the water window on the appliance. Too little water will result in the kettle switching ‘OFF’. Filling above the maximum mark (MAX) may result in boiling water splashing from the kettle.
• The lid should always be locked firmly in place in the closed position before and during use. Do not open the lid during operation as this may result in boiling water splashing from the kettle. Pour all the hot water from the kettle before opening the lid to refill.
• Do not operate the kettle on an inclined plane. Do not operate the kettle unless the element is fully immersed. Do not move while the kettle is switched on.
