Gyros
Gyros is a pile of meat layers that is broiled by continuous rotation.
The particular broiling result is obtained by alternating heating of approximately 120°C and
cooling down. This brings a constant inner flow of gravy, comparable to the gravy obtained
when roasting meat. The meat fibres do not harden, and the gravy is flavoured by the spices.
This cooking mode results in very healthy meat.
The spit rotates in front of an open structure of heating elements with half round stainless steel
reflectors for an optimal use of energy. As after frequent use grease residues might burn on the
reflector, we advise you to cover the latter with tinfoil. However, make sure that the foil does
not come into contact with the heating elements. The tinfoil can be changed according to
the use frequency, which allows you to keep the reflector clean.
The vertical grill allows broiling gyros meat layers, shashlik, party sausages, poultry and fish with
few attachments. The meals are easy to prepare, must simply be put on the main spit, and
tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
time. Therefore, we advise you to use your appliance empty once before the first use. Set
the timer to 15 minutes and let the appliance heat up with the door closed. When the
timer stops, you will hear a ding and the appliance will stop automatically.

Using your grill for rotisserie
Place one rotisserie fork on the end of the rotisserie spit with the tines facing the center
and tighten the screw slightly.
Slide the pointed end of the rotisserie spit through the center of the food to be cooked.
Place the other rotisserie fork on the other end of the rotisserie spit with the tines facing the
roast.
Adjust the roast so that it is centered on the rotisserie spit. Make sure the forks are secure
on the roast and on the spit and tighten the screws.
When cooking poultry, it may be necessary to secure legs and wings to the body with
butchers twine to make the roast as compact as possible for smooth movement of the
rotisserie spit.
Season or baste the roast as desired.
IMPORTANT! Place the round drip pan into the receptacle at the bottom of the grill to
catch the drippings.
Put the solid end of the rotisserie spit in the drive socket located in the center of the drip
pan.

CAUTION: The grill sides and top are hot, use oven mitts or temperature resistant gloves
when removing the chicken. You can also use a carving fork and set of tongs to remove
the roast.
Remove the rotisserie from the top by lifting up and out towards you. Pull the bottom part
of the spit out of the drip pan receptacle and place onto a carving station.
Place the roast on a cutting board or platter and allow standing for 10-15 minutes, this
allows the juices to redistribute throughout the roast making for a moister, flavourful roast.
Using a pot holder, loosen the screws on the rotisserie forks and remove the rotisserie spit
from the roast. Carefully remove the rotisserie forks and carve the roast.
Using your grill for kabob/kebab
Assemble the kebab accessories by following the below steps:
Place the round drip pan into the receptacle at the bottom of the grill to catch the
drippings.
Put the solid end of the rotisserie spit in the drive socket located in the center of the drip
pan.
Place the grooved end on the spit support located on the top interior of the grill.
Close the glass door well and the inner light will be off automatically.
Set the timer control to the desired cooking time.
When the roast is done, turn the timer control to "Off" and unplug the grill.
TIMER
You can choose the desired cooking time up to 60 minutes. If you wish to set the timer to less
than 5 minutes, turn it to a position higher than 5 minutes first and then set it back to the desired
time.
Hints for use
The figures given in the recipe booklet are guide figures, but some variations might occur
according to the food and your personal taste. The broiling time is based upon fully defrosted
food and the recommended quantity.
Hints for food preparation
Oil the meat, sausage and fish before broiling them.
Stab the chicken at the level of the drumsticks in order to avoid grease splashing.
When making shashlik, put the maximum amount of meat possible on the spits. To
obtain a uniform grilling of the shashlik sticks, it is necessary to turn these sticks
manually from time to time.
