Added Feature
Menus displayed using "Spanish" is now supported.
Operating Procedure
"Press the keys "9 → 6" to go to LANGUAGE SET"
Press the [MENU] key to open the menu.
Turn the [MULTI] knob to move to "9. OTHER". Press
the [MULTI] knob to open the submenu.
Turn the [MULTI] knob to move to "6. LANGUAGE
1
SET".
Pressing the [MULTI] knob displays the pulldown
menu. The "1. ENGLISH" or "2. SPANISH, 3. , 4. , 5. ,
6. , 7. , 8. NEXT" menus appear.
Selecting "2. SPANISH" displays the menus in Spanish.

Added Feature
Menus displayed using "Thai" is now supported.
Operating Procedure
"Press the keys "9 → 6" to go to LANGUAGE SET"
Press the [MENU] key to open the menu.
Turn the [MULTI] knob to move to "9. OTHER". Press
the [MULTI] knob to open the submenu.
Turn the [MULTI] knob to move to "6. LANGUAGE
SET".
Pressing the [MULTI] knob displays the pulldown
menu. The "1. ENGLISH" or "2. SPANISH, 3. , 4. , 5. ,
6. , 7. , 8. NEXT" menus appear.
Turn the [MULTI] knob to move to "8. NEXT" and press the [MULTI] knob to display another
pulldown menu. The "1. JAPANESE, 2. , 3. THAI, 4. , 5. ADDITIONAL, 6. BACK" menus
appear.
Selecting "3. THAI" displays the menus in Thai.

[DOWN], [UP], and [HOIST ERROR] have been changed to

2.2 Changes to Default Colors of Sonar
Display
Description of Change
The default values for colors of the sonar display were
changed.
The default values, "M0" to "M3" and "U1" to "U4", for sonar image colors, were changed.
Background color (black) was added to standard color pattern.
A color pattern similar to another manufacturer (F Inc.) was added.

Operating Procedure
"Press the keys "8 → 6 → 3 → 1" to go to COLOR PATTERN settings"
Turn the [MULTI] knob to select "1. COLOR
PATTERN". Press the [MULTI] knob to display the
pulldown menu.
Select items "1. M0 through 8. U4" from the pulldown
menu. Turn the [MULTI] knob to select the item you
chose. Press the [MULTI] knob to set it.
The initial setting is set to "1. M0".
On the following pages, the "1. M0 to 8. U4" color pattern settings are noted as: Day 1, Day 2, Night 1,
and Night 2.

select "2. DRAFT". Press the [MULTI] knob to
display the menu for inputting values.
For this example, turn the [MULTI] knob to input a
draft value of 5 m for this ship. Press the [MULTI]

"Press the keys "7 → 4 → 3 → 1" to go to RX CLUTTER settings"
In the "RX" menu, turn the [MULTI] knob to move
to [1. RX CLUTTER]. Press the [MULTI] knob to
display the menu for entering values.
The initial setting is set to "0".
The setting range of the value is between 0 and
255, and can be changed in steps of 1.
* In the version before the correction, the value set in the menu did not change, even when the power
was turned off and then on again, but only if the value was set to "0".

3.4 Writing Setting Values to Setting Cards
Description of Corrections
Corrected the problem of the setting values not being
correctly written to the setting cards.
Operating Procedure
"Press the keys "8 → 1 → 5 → 2" to go to WRITE settings"
Open the submenu for "5. SETTING CARD", the
same as in the previous section.
Turn the [MULTI] knob to select "2. SETTING
WRITE FILE".
Pressing the [MULTI] knob displays the "1. SETTING
WRITE FILE" menu in the diagram on the left.
Press the [MULTI] knob again to open the pulldown
menu. Turn the [MULTI] knob to select "2. WRITE".
Press the [MULTI] knob to set it and start writing.
The pulldown menu closes when writing is complete.

To confirm what was written, open the setting value
read menu, and confirm whether or not it has been
written to the card.
Check the following page regarding reading setting values.
In the example diagram on the left, you can confirm
that a new file has been added at the very bottom.
The file names list the last two digits of the year, the month, date, hour, minutes, and seconds
in that order, the same as the screen memory files.

Open the submenu for "5. SETTING CARD".
Turn the [MULTI] knob to select "1. SETTING READ
FILE". Press the [MULTI] knob to open a list of setting
value files stored on the card.

As shown in the example diagram on the left, you can
see that two types of files are recorded. Find the file
you need, turn the [MULTI] knob to select the file, and
then press the [MULTI] knob. A pulldown menu
appears. Turn the [MULTI] knob to select "2. READ".
Press the [MULTI] knob to set it.
Press the [MENU] key, close the menu, and press the [MENU] key again to confirm that it has
changed to the value that you want.
CAUTION
The sonar setting values for V00.40 that were written to the
CSV file on the CF card, cannot be read normally by V00.42.
There is a risk of incorrect operations due to mistakes in the
data.
If you want to continue using the sonar setting values for
V00.40, you must make a note of them in advance.
