XDv2: System Ampli ers
XDv2 System Ampli ers are designed to run a complete
subwoofer + satellite audio system, with active crossover
functionality built-in. Each model features a dedicated
subwoofer channel, plus one or two pairs of full-range
channels to drive component speaker systems.
Under the hood, we have done some upgrading
to give the XDv2’s even more exibility and
integration capabilities than their predecessors.
All XDv2 models o er the convenience of automatic
turn-on (signal or DC-o set sensing), making them easier
to integrate with OEM systems. We have also upgraded
the input sections to have equal capabilities as our agship
HD ampli ers, accepting a wide range of input signals,
from line-level all the way to high-power speaker level
signals (with a dual-range switch). e nal tweak is an
improved remote level circuit, with more linear behavior.
e XD700/5v2 and XD1000/5v2 o er true 3-way (lowpass/bandpass/high-pass) crossover functionality, with an
“x10” multiplier switch on the high-pass channels.
If your system requires moderate subwoofer power, the
XD500/3v2 and XD700/5v2 o er up to 300 watts of clean
subwoofer-channel power, plus 75 watts of clean power at 4
ohms into each full-range channel.
For more power-capable subwoofer systems, opt for the
XD1000/5v2. is powerhouse delivers up to 600 watts of
clean subwoofer power, plus 4 x 75 watts of clean power at
4 ohms for your component speaker systems.
