for Downdraft Door Replacement kit

Kit Contains:

Downdraft Door Downdraft Door Support Plate Tube of Silicone Alcohol Wipes Instruction Sheet

Tools Needed:

- Caulking Gun

- Small Screwdriver

1. Remove the old downdraft door assembly by opening the door and prying off with a small screw driver. See Figure 1.

2. Clean the new surfaces to be glued on the downdraft door and the downdraft door support plate with the alcohol wipes and a lint-free cloth in order to avoid any contamination of grease, oil, dust, water, old adhesives/sealants. Let dry for 1 minute. See Figure 2.

4. Apply silicone to the center of the downdraft door support plate keeping it away from the sides edges as illustrated. See Figure 4.

5. Apply the downdraft door with the logo up and facing you as illustrated applying slight pressure downward making

sure that the gaps are the same and the cover sits ush.

See Figure 5.

IMPORTANT: If the downdraft door does not sit ush remove and

apply more silicone to the low areas and repeat.

NOTE: Allow unit to dry for 24 hours before use.

3. Insert the downdraft door support plate pins into the frame of the door opening. See Figure 3.
