Are my customers at risk for hearing damage with the Jabra T5330?
No. All GN Netcom and Jabra headsets meet
the highest user protection standards, with sophisticated sound limiting systems to protect the user against excessive sound levels. We specify that the maximum sound pressure shall be below 118 dB SPL, which is approved by international standards and by telecom administrations. For that reason all our headsets feature PeakStop™, an electronic peak control gateway (transistor) that does not allow excessively loud sounds to pass to the ear.
PeakStop actively protects the user by keeping
the absolute sound level and the energy of the peak in the safe zone at all times. As a result, the headset user will not be exposed to the full effect of an excessive peak and consequently the risk of harming the sensitive mechanisms of the ear is minimized.
Is it possible to listen into conversations made on the Jabra T5330?
The risk of unauthorized access to communication
via a Bluetooth headset is very limited. Just like our other wireless headsets, the Jabra T5330 digitally encrypts all calls, providing complete calling security (part of the Bluetooth standard).

What is DSP (Digital Signal Processing)?
A digital processor enhances the incoming voice/
audio signal and removes sound impurities from noisy environments, mobile phones, etc. The Jabra T5330 features DSP technology in the headset cradle.
Can WiFi and the Jabra T5330 coexist in the same location?
Yes, the Jabra T5330 uses adaptive frequency
hopping, so that channels that are blocked by WiFi, etc., will not be used – only the free channels are used to ensure good sound quality.
