Charging Party Starter

If the party lights or LEDs appear dim, or if your music cuts out or fails to play, your battery may require recharging.

Use the included micro-USB cable to connect Party Starter to (A) a USB power adapter connected to a power outlet or (B) your computer (powered on) for 3

hours.

Party Starter Features

1. Power / Play / Pause:

Press and hold this button for 2 seconds to power Party Starter on/off. Press this button to play/pause a paired Bluetooth device.

2. Bluetooth Pairing Light: When Party Starter is first powered on, the blue LED will blink

to indicate it is in pairing mode. When a Bluetooth connection has been made, the LED will be solid blue.

3. Bluetooth Reset / Call Answer: When there is no incoming phone call, or no call is

active, press this button to disconnect a previously paired Bluetooth device. To receive an incoming phone call, press this button to answer the call. To end an active call, press the button again. When a call is incoming, a ring tone plays and repeats until the call is answered, or is no longer incoming.

4. Party Light Switch: This 3-position switch turns the LED lights on and off, or puts Party Starter into Demo mode.

• Off: LEDs are not lit. Party Starter will power off after 5 minutes if no audio is being

played.

• On: LEDs are lit immediately when powered on. LED lightshow synchronizes to the

music. Party Starter will power off after 15 minutes if no audio is being played.

• Demo: LEDs are lit immediately when powered on. LED lightshow synchronizes to

the music. Party Starter will power off after 2 minutes if no audio is being played.

Note: Party Starter ships in Demo mode to test the sound and lights in stores. Adjust this switch to the desired setting.

5. Power / Battery Light: Indicates whether Party Starter is powered on and shows the state of the battery. If the party lights or LEDs appear dim, or if your music cuts out or fails to play, your battery may require recharging. See the Party Starter LED Activity section for more information on the LED states.

6. Micro-USB Charging Port: Connect the included micro-USB cable to connect Party Starter to a USB power adapter connected to a power outlet or to your computer.

7. Aux Input: This stereo 1/8” input can be used to connect a smartphone, MP3 player, or other audio sources. If an Aux cable is connected, Bluetooth audio will still play through.

8. Volume – / Previous Track: Press this button to skip to the beginning of the playing track (or the previous track depending on the player or position in the song). Press and hold this button to decrease the track volume.

9. Volume + / Next Track: Press this button to skip to the next track. Press and hold this button to increase the volume.

10. Microphone: Speak here after answering an incoming phone call.

Party Starter LED Activity

Power LED:

Green LED = Party Starter is powered on Orange LED = Battery is charging with the power on Red LED = Battery is charging with the power off

Bluetooth LED:

Solid Blue LED = Paired to a Bluetooth device No LED = Party Starter is unpaired/in pairing mode (but powered on)

Connecting with a Bluetooth Device

1. Turn on your Bluetooth device.

2. Press and hold the Power button for two seconds to power on Party Starter.

3. Open Bluetooth settings on your music device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).

4. Navigate to your Bluetooth device’s setup screen, find Party Starter and connect.

5. If your Bluetooth device is not able to pair to Party Starter, press the Bluetooth Reset button on Party Starter to break the previous Bluetooth connection and reset the Bluetooth module.

6. The Paired LED will light up solid when it is paired.

7. To disconnect a paired Bluetooth device, press the Bluetooth Reset button on Party Starter.

Troubleshooting

If the sound is distorted: Try lowering the volume control of your sound source. Also, try to

reduce the overall volume of Party Starter.

If there is too much bass: Try adjusting the tone or EQ control on your sound source to lower the bass level. This will allow you to play the music louder before clipping (distortion) occurs.

Cómo cargar el Party Starter

Si las luces festivas o los LED se atenúan, o si la música se corta o no se reproduce, podría ser necesario recargar la batería.

Party Starter Características

1. Encendido / Reproducir / Pausa:

Actividad de los LED del Party Starter

LED de encendido:

LED verde = El Party Starter está encendido LED ámbar = Se está cargando la batería con el equipo encendido LED rojo = Se está cargando la batería con el equipo apagado

LED de Bluetooth:

LED con luz azul permanente = Conectado a un dispositivo Bluetooth LED apagado = El Party Starter esta desconectado o en modo de conexión (pero encendido)

Conexión con un dispositivo Bluetooth

1. Encienda su dispositivo Bluetooth.

2. Mantenga pulsado el botón de encendido durante dos segundos para encender el Party Starter.

3. Abra la configuración Bluetooth en su dispositivo musical (teléfono inteligente, tableta, etc.).

4. Navegue a la pantalla de configuración de su dispositivo Bluetooth, busque Party Starter y conecte.

5. Si su dispositivo Bluetooth no puede conectarse con el Party Starter, pulse el botón Bluetooth Reset del Party Starter para cancelar la conexión Bluetooth anterior y reiniciar el módulo Bluetooth.

6. Cuando está "conectado", se enciende el LED Paired con luz permanente.

Solución de problemas

Si el sonido está distorsionado: trate de disminuir el volumen de su fuente de sonido.

Pruebe también reduciendo el volumen general del Party Starter.

Si los graves son demasiado fuertes: intente ajustar el control de tono o ecualización de su fuente de sonido para reducir el nivel de graves. De esta forma podrá reproducir la música con más volumen antes de que se produzca el recorte (distorsión).

Rechargement de la batterie du Party Starter :

Si le jeu de lumière ou les DEL apparaissent faibles, ou si la musique coupe ou ne joue pas, il peut être nécessaire de recharger la batterie.

Utilisez le câble micro-USB inclus afin de brancher le Party Starter à (A) un adaptateur d’alimentation USB branché à une prise secteur, ou (B) à un ordinateur (sous tension) pendant 3 heures.

Party Starter Caractéristiques

1. Touche d'alimentation/de lecture/d'arrêt de lecture : Maintenez

cette touche enfoncée pendant 2 secondes afin de mettre le Party Starter sous et hors tension. Appuyez sur cette touche afin de lancer/arrêter la lecture de la musique sur l’appareil Bluetooth jumelé.

2. Indicateur de jumelage Bluetooth : Lorsque l’enceinte Party Starter est mise sous tension pour la première fois, la DEL bleue clignote afin d’indiquer qu’elle est en mode de jumelage. Lorsqu’une connexion Bluetooth est établie, la DEL bleue demeure allumée.

3. Réinitiation Bluetooth/appel-réponse : Lorsqu’il n’y a aucun appel entrant ou en cours, cette touche permet de déjumeler un appareil Bluetooth. Appuyez sur cette touche pour prendre un appel. Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche pour mettre fin à l’appel. Lorsqu'un appel entrant est signalé, une sonnerie joue et se répète jusqu'à ce que l'appel soit pris ou terminé.

4. Interrupteur d’éclairage : Cet interrupteur à 3 positions permet d’allumer et d’éteindre le jeu de lumière DEL du Party Starter, ou de le mettre en mode démonstration.

• Off (désactivé) : Les DEL sont éteintes. Party Starter s’éteint après 5 minutes

d’inactivité.

• On (sous tension) : Les DEL s’allument immédiatement lors de la mise sous

tension. Le jeu de lumière DEL se synchronise à la musique. Party Starter s’éteint après 15 minutes d’inactivité.

• Demo (démonstration) : Les DEL s’allument immédiatement lors de la mise sous

tension. Le jeu de lumière DEL se synchronise à la musique. Party Starter s’éteint après 2 minutes d’inactivité.

Remarque : L’enceinte Party Starter est livrée en mode démo afin de pouvoir tester le son et les lumières en magasins. Réglez ce sélecteur sur le réglage souhaité.
