Unpacking and Installation
Although it is neither complicated to install nor difficult to operate your set, a few minutes of your time is required to read this manual for a properly wired installation and becoming familiar with its many features and how to use them. Please take a great care in unpacking your set and do not discard the carton and other packing materials. They may be needed when moving your set
and are required if it ever becomes necessary to return your set for service.

Cautions for Handling and Installation
- Don’t disassemble the unit. Otherwise, the unit may fail.
- Don’t put or soak the unit in water. Otherwise, the
unit may fail.
- Don’t use other cells than designated. Don’t
charge them. In addition, don’t mix new cells with old ones for use. Fracture of cells and leak of liquid may result in
fire, physical injury or contamination of the unit.
- Put cells in the unit as described while taking care of polarity indication(+, - direction). If putting them in, fracture of cells and leak of liquid may result in fire, physical injury or contamination of the unit.
- Don’t heat, disassemble, or put in fire and water. Fracture of cells and leak of liquid may result in fire, physical injury or contamination of the unit.
Method to put cell in
Separate the cover behind a remote controller.
Separate the unit after removing screws behind a remote controller using a L-wrench.
Put cells in.
A 1.5V AAA type of 2 cells is required. Put cells in the unit after checking a (+) or (-) pole.
Cover the cover.
Tighten screws after covering.

Function selection switch Set switches to match with the type of a system to operate. Applied function is changed depending on setting position.

DECK Function Button This button is used when operating the deck mounted on the PA system.
- TAPE A/B : Used when selecting a
deck to play.
- : Play the rear side of a tape (RWD).
- : Play the front side of a tape (RWD).
- ◀◀ : Rewind
- ▶▶ : Fast wind
- : Stop

Set switches to match with the system to
operate the function selection switch.
PA :
PA system where tuner, CDP or DECK is mounted on.
CD : CD player not be produced
TU : Tuner not be produced
HOL D : Function to hold the whole function which
protects the unit from careless manipulation.
Of our products, only those equipped with the receipt
part of a remote controller may be remotely operated and some products may be excluded.

Press the relevant button after pointing toward the receipt part of a remote controller of the system. Manipulation distance is about 7m within the left or right angle of 30°. The longer the using period of a cell, the shorter manipulation distance further becomes lessen.

If not using a remote controller, place the function selection switch on HOLD.

When a remote controller does not properly operate

Replace cells of a remote controller with new one if distance significantly becomes more than usual time. If using bad cells, leak of liquid may cause failure of the system.

If a fluorescent lamp around the system is 3-
waveform, distance of manipulation may be
reduced to more than the half. In this case, use it immediately in front of the receipt part of a remote controller of the system.

Remove dusts where dusts are severely laid between the transmit part of a remote controller of the system and the receipt part.
