DESCRIPTION
• Press and hold for three seconds to turn this system on. Press and release to turn it o.
• Press and hold for two seconds to put this system into pairing mode.
Press to increase or decrease the volume level of playback.
• Indicates the battery charging status.
• Indicates the pairing states.
Fold down, then plug into a wall outlet to charge your speaker.
Plug an external audio device into this jack to hear the playback from this speaker.
Connect an external device to this port to charge it.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
• This system has a built-in rechargeable battery. To charge, fold down the AC power plug as shown below, then gently insert it into a wall outlet.

USING YOUR BLUETOOTH SPEAKER

1 Press and hold the / (power/pair) button for three seconds to
turn on your speaker.
2 Press and hold the / (power/pair) button for two seconds to
enter pairing mode. The pair indicator light ashes blue rapidly.
3 Open the Bluetooth settings on your Bluetooth-enabled device. After
this system is recognized, NS-SPBTP1 appears in the list of Bluetooth devices.
4 Select NS-SPBTP1 to pair with your device. The pair indicator light
turns solid after this system is successfully connected. You can use your paired device to control playback.
Notes:
• On most devices, no password is needed to pair, however, if a password is requested, the default password is 0000.
• Before playing back using Bluetooth, make sure that the audio cable has been
removed from the AUX IN jack of this system.
• You can change the playback volume by either pressing the VOLUME+ or – buttons on the top of your speaker, or changing the volume on your paired device. For maximum volume, turn both to maximum.
CONNECTING TWO BLUETOOTH DEVICES
1 Press and hold the / (power/pair) button for two seconds to
disconnect the current Bluetooth connection and enter pairing mode,
then follow steps 3 and 4 above to establish a Bluetooth connection with another device.
2 On the initial Bluetooth device, select NS-SPBTP1 in the list of available
Bluetooth devices to resume the connection. Now, both of the two
Bluetooth devices are simultaneously connected to this speaker.
3 Start playback of one paired device to stream music to this system. If
you want to play from the other paired device, pause the current
playback and start playback on the other paired device.
PLAYBACK USING AUX IN

as CD/MP3/digital
music player.

Connect a 3.5 mm cable into your audio device and the AUX IN jack on your speaker. The audio defaults to your audio device when it is playing
and the volume is turned up. If your audio device isn’t playing sound,
the speaker defaults back to any Bluetooth device that it is paired to.
Note: When playing music via audio cable, it is suggested that you pause the
Bluetooth sound source paired to your speaker or disconnect the Bluetooth device.
CHARGING AN EXTERNAL DEVICE
To external USB devices,
such as mobile phones,
tablets, smartphones.

• Use the USB charge port to charge external devices, including most mobile phones, tablets, and wireless headsets. You can use the power
cable that came with the device. Charging is available when this system is connected to a wall outlet.
Note: The maximum output current of the USB port is 1000mA when the system is idle. The output current is 500mA when this system is playing music.
