NS-SH513 Bluetooth/CD Compact Shelf System
Your compact shelf system utilizes a Class 1 laser to read Compact Discs. Your compact shelf system is equipped with safety switches to avoid exposure when the CD tray is open and the safety interlocks are defeated. Invi sible laser radiation is present when the CD tray is open and the system's interlock has failed or been defeated. You should avoid direct exposure to the laser beam at all times. Do not attempt to defeat or bypass the safety switches. Do not stare into the beam.

5 Do not use this apparatus near water.
6 Clean only with a dry cloth.
7 Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions.
8 Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9 Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type
plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10 Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly
at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11 Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12 Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for
long periods of time.

when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

4 AUX Press to switch your compact shelf system to AUX mode.
5 REPEAT In CD or USB mode, press once to repeat the current song, press twice to repeat
6 TIME Press to play a CD from a specific time point. In USB mode, press to set the

8 PLAY/ENTER Press to enable the item you have selected.
9 PRESET– Press to tune the FM radio to the previous preset station. When setting presets,

21 RANDOM Press to switch playback to random mode. Press again to cancel.
22 PROGRAM Press to program CD playback.
23 Number buttons In CD mode, press to enter the track number you want to play.
24 SAVE In FM mode, press to save a preset station.
25 (mute) Press to mute the sound. Press again to cancel. When you switch to other

Setting up your compact shelf system

Connecting the AC power

To connect the AC power:
1 Make sure that your local AC power source matches the voltage shown
on the plate located on the AC power adapter. If it does not, do not use that power source.
2 Plug the AC power cord into a wall power outlet.
Caution
To protect your compact shelf system during thunderstorms, unplug the AC power cord from the AC power outlet.

Connecting the FM antenna

To connect the FM antenna:
1 Connect the FM antenna (provided) to the FM antenna interface on
the back of your compact shelf system.
2 Arrange the antenna for best FM reception.
