It presents you the n ecess ary information ab out use, installation ,

WARRANTY /SECURITY
Use only the power supply included with the pro duct to
ensure be st per formance and safe ty. Maintenanc e should
only be provided by Ingenic o authorized technician.
Failure to comply with t hese ins tructions will void the
manufacturer’s responsibility.
The power s upply unit provided with yo ur equipment
is specially designed for Ingenico terminals. Do not u se
any other power supply. The use of a power s upply with
apparently similar voltage/current characteristics may
damage your terminal.
ADVICE
Keep the packaging. It must be re-used whenever the terminal is shipped.
Before to use the Docking Station, always check if the paper
roll is present.
3_1 Power on the device
To power on the station it is necessar y to conne ct the device
to the elec trical main network th rough the power supply unit
provided with the station .

3_2 Docking / undocking of the D7
In order to cha rge the D7, you have to dock it on the station.
This actio n is automatic by sliding down the D7 on t he terminal
suppor t as per b elow.
In case you need to undock the product, please action th e dedicated
butto n on the station as per b elow.
3_3 Axium D7 charging
The Axium Dock allows to charge the Axium D7 thro ugh the
contac ts spring on the tablet h older.
The Axium Dock of fers a 5V voltage with a maximum current
of 2A.

4_Installation
4_1 Recommendation
Location of the AXIUM DOCK
Place the ter minal on at sur face near an elec tric socket. The
terminal sho uld be place d far from any very hot zo nes, protecte d
from vibrations, dus t, damp and electromagnetic radiation (computer
screen , anti-thef t barrier etc.).

Securisation of your device
To undock your te rminals below the terminal support please press the
dedicated button.
The Docking station embeds 3 USB slots . All the 3 ports are available
from tablet (Axiu m D7) when this one is physically connec ted to the
docking Station.
For instance, external barcode read er, external printer or cash drawer
can be connecte d to the Station.

4_2_2 Charging contacts
The four contacts on the ta blet holder offer the power supply to the
Axium D7 and the USB inter face.

The docking Station embeds a passive NFC inter face for Bluetooth
pairing.
To make the Bluetoo th pairing easier.
This interf ace allows to make key exchange between A xium D7 and th e
station for Bluetooth connection.
To proceed to this pairing, please launc h the pairing ap plication from
the tablet and then approach the terminal to th e dock.
The ther mal paper can be dete riorated by poor storage condition, so
we recomm end you to avoid :
Storage in hot wet places (near air-conditioner, humidity
higher than 85%)
Expos ure to sunlight or ultraviolet for the long periods
Contac t with organic solvents (solvent t ype adh esive)
Direct co ntact with materials containing plasticizer s (PVC
transparent folders or envelopes)
Direct co ntact with “diazo” papers
Direct co ntact with water
Rubbing or pressing the p aper too strongly

For best produc t performances, only u se heat se nsitized
paper approved by In genico.

The use of n on-approved pap er is likely to damage t he
printer of the Docking St ation.
The rst time you receive your docking statio n equippe d with the Wi/
Ethernet b oard, this one is under Fac tory d efault mo de.
You could acce ss the device via Ethernet with IP 192.168.0.50.

Remark: if you change some settings on the web inter face and you save
those settings, you will not be able to acces s to the Factory default
mode.
Once the conguration changed under the Factor y Test Mode, you
could only access the d evice via WL AN with IP 192.168.1.1.
Or you could a ccess th e device via Ethernet with WAN IP and
management port when the “Enable Remote Management” function is
enabled. And with the password you set or default pas sword.
Enter TOO LS SYSTEM page and click “Restore Factor y Defaults”
butto n and click OK in the Popup message , then the router will restore
all factor y cong uration settings.
AXIUM / s eries offers the possibility to secure A XIUM DO CK and
AXIUM D7 with one single Kensington .
When the D7 is do cked lock t he Kensing ton system as per below.
5_2 Safety
Powering down the AXIUM DOCK
Disconne ct the A XIUM DOCK power supply block adapter from the
electrical mains net work.
Electrical power outlet
The elec trical ou tlet must m eet the following criteria :
Must be ins talled nea r the equipment an d easily
accessible;
Do not sho rt-circuit the battery.
Do not at tempt to op en the bat tery co ntainer.
Used batteries must be disposed of at t he appropriate
sites.
Certain re gulations restric t the use of radio equipment in chemical
plants, fuel depot s and any site wh ere blasting is c arried ou t. You are
urged to co mply with the se regulations. The terminal shall be protec ted
by a specially t ted and certie d cover enabling use in proximity to a
fuel pump.
Electronic health appliances
Your handset is a radio transmitter which may interfere with health
appliances , such as hearing aids, pacemaker, hospital equipment, etc.
Your doctor or the equipment manufact urer will be able to p rovide you
with appropriate advice.
