Windows 2000 USB setup
Windows 2000 automatically detects and installs USB drivers for the keyboard, mouse and composite
device. You need only to follow the Found New Hardware Wizard to complete the driver installation
process. It starts automatically when Windows 2000 detects a new hardware device.
Store the file you download your computer's hard drive or on a floppy disk. You'll need access to it when
you set up the computer for use with the LP500/LP530.
Note that you need to install the driver once on each laptop or desktop PC you use with the
LP500/LP530.
To install the InFocus USB Projector Control Drivers for Windows 2000
When you plug the USB cable into the USB connector on the computer, the Found New Hardware dialog
box appears.
NOTE The illustrations below refer to the LP130. The dialog boxes you see will refer to the LP500 or the
LP530. Otherwise the procedure is the same.
1 In the Found New Hardware Wizard, click Next.
2 Select Search for a Suitable Driver, then click Next.
3 Select Specify a Location, then click OK.
NOTE If you stored the file on a floppy drive, do not select Floppy Disk Drives. Instead, click
Specify a Location, then navigate to the floppy drive on your computer.
