Backup Battery

Your new clock includes a built-in battery backup system that will maintain the time settings during a temporary power interruption.

The display will turn off during a power failure, but the clock will continue to run. The alarm will NOT sound during a temporary power interruption, and will need to be reset once connected to power again.

Connect the included AC adapter to the DC jack located on the back of the unit and connect the other end to a working wall outlet.

Product Care

• Place the unit on a level surface away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.

• Protect your furniture when placing your unit on a natural wood and lacquered finish. A cloth or other protective material should be placed between it and the furniture.

• Stronger cleaning agents, such as Benzene, thinner or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit.

Setting the Time

Press and hold the Time Set Button throughout the process.

While continuing to press and hold the Time Set Button, press and release the +/- Buttons to adjust the time.

NOTE: The PM indicator will light when the hour is set for PM. There is no AM indicator.

Release the Time Set Button to complete time setting.

Setting and Using Alarms

Press and hold the Alarm Set Button throughout the process.

While continuing to press and hold the Alarm Set Button, press and release the +/- Buttons to adjust the alarm time.

Release the Alarm Set Button to complete alarm setting. The icon will appear on the display to confirm the alarm is armed.

To silence a sounding alarm and reset it come on the next day at the same time, press and release the Alarm Set Button.

Press and release the Snooze/Dimmer Button when the alarm sounds to silence it for 9 minutes. The alarm icon on the display will blink while the unit is in Snooze mode. Snooze can be used several times during alarm.

Wireless Charging

• AirPods with wireless charging case Place Qi compatible device face up on the wireless charging pad as pictured below:

CAUTION: Remove metal protective or magnetic case from phone before charging. When charging phone, do not place magnetic-striped or other metal objects on the charger. Doing so could damage the object or this unit. Qi compatible phones with metallic looking finishes will charge normally.

Solid blue LED: Device is charging properly. Solid red LED: Device is charged. Rapid blinking red LED: Device is not charging properly. Reposition device.

Note: The LED indicator may continue to glow solid blue when iOS devices are fully charged.

Charging Devices via USB Port

You can also charge your devices via the USB port located on the back of the unit.

To charge devices:

• Connect the standard size end of a USB cable (not included) to the USB port on the back of the unit.

• Connect the other end to the charging port on your device.

(Make sure the unit is plugged into a working outlet in order to charge devices.)

Display Dimmer

Press and hold the Snooze/Dimmer Button to toggle display brightness between high and low settings. Dimmer cannot be adjusted when alarm is sounding.

Troubleshooting

1. The unit does not power ON. The unit is not connected to AC outlet, the AC outlet has no power, or is controlled by a wall

switch that is “OFF”. Check AC outlet and wall switch.

2. Alarm does not come on. The alarm time AM or PM incorrectly set, Alarm was OFF, etc. Check alarm settings.

3. Unit shuts “Off” unexpectedly. a. A power surge has occurred, or the AC outlet has been disconnected. b. The AC outlet may be controlled by a wall switch that is turned OFF. Check AC outlet or wall switch.

Do NOT attempt to change the battery. Doing so will void the warranty and could cause injury and damage to your device. To dispose of the unit, follow the instructions below:

• Never dispose of used batteries/electronics with ordinary solid wastes, since they contain toxic substances.

• Always dispose of used batteries/electronics in accordance with the prevailing community regulations.

• Many electronics retailers now recycle batteries and other electronic components at no charge

GENERAL BATTERY PRECAUTIONS

• Never use or charge a battery if it appears to be leaking, discolored, deformed, or in any way abnormal.

• Never disassemble the unit or attempt to remove battery as that could cause leakage of alkaline solution or other electrolytic substances.

• Avoid charging a rechargeable battery when the temperature is not within 5°C - 35° C (41° - 95° Fahrenheit).

• Never expose a battery to any liquid.

• Never expose a battery to excessive heat such as direct sunlight or fire. Never use a battery pack in an unventilated vehicle where excessive internal temperatures may be encountered.

• Always keep batteries out of the reach of infants and small children.

1. Do not use this product near water, and clean only with dry cloth.

8. Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.

9. This product is suitable for use in tropical and/or moderate climates.

10. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture.

11. Do not dispose of batteries in the household trash or fire.

12. The mains plug of power adaptor is used as the disconnect device, it shall remain readily operable.

iHome Products, a division of SDI Technologies Inc. (hereafter referred to as SDI), warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of 90 days from the date of original purchase.
