• The displayed screens, dialogs, indications may diff er slightly, depending on your system settings, type of OS and its service
pack level.
• To operate the software, refer to the RS-MGR2 Instruction manual.
• To read the instruction manual, Adobe Acrobat Reader is required.
If you have not installed Reader, download it from Adobe Systems Incorporated’s web site.

RS-MGR2 can be used with both 32 and 64 bit versions of the

CS-FC5000:
• You need another PC that has the CS-FC5000 (later than
version 2.20) installed.
• The PC with the CS-FC5000 and the PC with the
RS-MGR2 need to be connected through the network.
Apache is automatically added to the fi rewall’s exception
programs, when the RS-MGR2 is installed to your PC.
NOTE: The RS-MGR2 communication ports are UDP 161,
UDP 514, and TCP 1468 as defaults.

• The included USB fl ash drive does not have the Write Protection, so formatting it will erase all data. Also, USB fl ash drives
have a certain lifetime and you may not be able to read or write data after a long period of use. We recommend making a
backup fi le of the data on the USB fl ash drive onto another device.

When installing the software, confi rm Windows has completed its startup, and then sign in as the administrator.
These instructions are based on using Microsoft Windows 10.
1. Confirm no other applications are running.
2. Insert the USB flash drive into the PC.
3. Double-click “setup_x64.exe” or “setup_x86.exe”

5. “License Agreement” is displayed.
After reading the privacy policy, select “I accept the
terms in the license agreement” and click <Next >>.
Before using the RS-MGR2, follow the instructions below to enable the Syslog function for the CS-FC5000.
NOTE: The CS-FC5000’s fi rmware must be later than revision 2.20.
See the CS-FC5000’s Confi guration Manual for details on updating the fi rmware.
1. Open the Configuration > Region screen, and
then click [Monitoring].

2. Enter the “Syslog Severity IP Address” of the PC
that has the RS-MGR2 installed.
3. Select “UDP” for the “Syslog Protocol” setting.
4. Select “v2c” for the SNMP Mode setting.
5. Click [Apply] to save the settings.
6. Click [Configuration Update] to update the
configured settings on the RS-MGR2.
NOTE: Be sure that the PC with the CS-FC5000
and the PC with the RS-MGR2 are connected
through the network.

6. “Port Setting” is displayed.
Confirm the Apache port number, and then click
<Next>>.
• If desired, enter a diff erent Apache port number before
clicking <Next >>.

Click <Install> to start installing.
9. After the installation has completed, “InstallShield
Wizard Completed” is displayed. Click <Finish>.
NOTE: You can uninstall the software using the
“Apps & features” in the “Settings” menu.
To get started, click on Start > Settings > Apps >
Apps & features.
NOTE: Be sure that you sign in as the administrator.
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. Enter the URL and go to the page.

the RS-MGR2 installed, and the apache

• Apache port number is set to 53959 as default.
• “There’s a problem with this website’s security
certifi cate” is displayed.
3. Click “Continue to this website (not
recommended).”
4. The Log-in screen is displayed.

on [Login] to start the RS-MGR2.
