PTT SWITCH CABLE
OPC-2359
Thank you for choosing this Icom product. You can use the OPC-2359 p t t s w i t c h c a b l e to connect a headset to a transceiver. Please read these instructions thoroughly before using the OPC-2359.
FEATURES
• The cable meets IP54 requirements for dust-protection
and splash resistance. (Except for the headset connector)
• Easily enable the PTT switches by touch.
• Status indicator is equipped for the PTT Toggle switch.
• Compatible with full duplex* communication. *Setting is required.
NEVER place any heavy object on the cable, or pinch it.
DO NOT drop the cable on a hard surface. If the switch
case is deformed, strained, or cracked, the protection against dust and water may not be maintained.
DO NOT expose the cable to direct sunlight. It may deform or discolor the cable.
BE CAREFUL ! Some fabric might be damaged by using the clip.
BE SURE to turn OFF the transceiver’s power before attaching or detaching the headset. Otherwise a malfunction may occur, or it may damage the transceiver, headset, or the cable.
USE with only the specified Icom transceiver or headset. Otherwise it may damage the transceiver, headset, or cable.
KEEP the cable out of the reach of children.

Easily attached to your pocket or collar.

Firmly insert the OPC-2359 into the [MIC/SP] jack. It is needed to
maintain the IP54 dust-protection
and splash resistance.
Headset (Option)
PTT Push switch
Push to transmit, release to receive Disabled while the status indicator is lit.
Status indicator
When the PTT Toggle switch is: Set to transmit: Lights red Set to receive: Does not light
The indicator does not light when the PTT Push switch is only pushed.
PTT Toggle switch
Push to toggle between transmit and receive. The status indicator lights red while transmitting.
