Thank you for purchasing the Ibanez Troubadour series acoustic guitar ampli­fier. The new compact Troubadour series amplifier has been designed to be
carried around easily and to produce a rich yet a crisp acoustic sound. A spe-

Precautions during use

1) This product is capable of producing extremely high volumes. In some cases,
this could damage your hearing or cause other bodily impairment. You must
be careful of the volume when using this product.

2) Always make sure that a speaker system of the correct impedance is con­nected.

3) Use this product with a power supply of the voltage that is printed on the rear
panel.

4) Place this product near the main power outlet, and ensure that the main
power plug can be easily disconnected from the main power outlet if any
problem should occur.

5) This device contains a fuse for protection. The fuse may be broken due to
external physical shock or because it has reached the end of its lifetime, but
since a broken fuse may indicate that a serious internal malfunction has oc­curred, please contact y

Do not block the cooling vents

Since the rear of this device functions as a cooling vent, you must leave
sufficient space between it and the wall. Blocking the cooling vent will
cause heat to be trapped inside the device, possibly causing fire.

on top of or place heavy objects on the amp as to avoid any damage or

Handle the plug with caution

When unplugging the cable, be sure to grasp the plug itself. If you unplug
the power cable by pulling the cable itself, you risk damaging the cable,
possibly causing fire or electrical shock.

Do not use “octopus-like” connections

Do not use branching extension cords, power strips, or branching sockets
to create “octopus-like” connections from an AC power outlet. Doing so
may cause fire or electrical shock.

Names and Function of Each part

1. Power LED light

2. MICROPHONE-INPUT jack

This is the balanced input terminal with XLR Jack. This allows the use of XLR
type plugs.
1 is GND, Pin 2 is HOT, and Pin 3 is COLD.
Microphones requiring phantom power supply (like condenser microphones)
can not be used. Use a dynamic microphone.

3. MICROPHONE-TONE control

This controls color of microphone pre-amp’s tone. Turn right to enhance high­end and turn left to enhance bottom.

4. MICROPHONE-VOLUME control

This controls the output level of the microphone pre-amp section. Adjust this
to a level where the sound will not be distorted or cause unwanted feedback.

5. CD/AUX-INPUT jacks

This is an RCA jack. It is designed to be connected to the headphone output
of a portable CD or MP3 player, or similar device. Use an RCA plug cable to
make connections. Use the volume control of your portable CD player and
MASTER volume to adjust the volume.

6. MASTER-REVERB control

This adjusts the level of the internal spring reverb. This affects the sound of
the GUITAR and MICROPHONE inputs.

7. MASTER-VOLUME control

This controls both guitar signal level to power amp and also MICROPHONE
and CD/MP3 gain levels.

8. INPUT jack

1/4” phone jack input.

9. MODE switch

This selects Natural mode or Shaped mode sound characteristics. Natural
mode reproduces unprocessed natural tone whereas Shaped mode delivers
enhanced bottom and high-end by scooping mid-range frequencies it is en­gaged.

10. GUITAR-VOLUME control

This controls the output of the guitar pre-amp section. Unwanted noise is best
controlled by increasing the guitar volume and lowering the amplifier volume
rather than the reverse. Lower this volume if distortion occurs because of high
output of guitar or high EQ settings.

11. 3 BAND EQ w/Parametric Mid BASS/MIDDLE-LEVEL/MIDDLE­FREQ/TREBLE

Refer to the spec sheet at the end of this manual for frequencies and levels.

12. CHORUS-DEPTH Control

This adjusts the depth of the chorus effect. Turning the control toward the right
will deepen the effect.

13. CHORUS Switch

This is the ON/OFF switch for the chorus effect.
*This effects only guitar channel.

14. CHORUS-SPPED control

This controls the ripple speed of the chorus effect. Turn this control to the right
to increase the speed.

15. FOOT SWITCH jack

IFS2X foot switch (sold separately) can be connected here, and used to
switch Chorus and Reverb on or off.
* Remark: While the foot switch is connected, the amp’s Chorus switch will not

function.

16. LINE OUT L/R jacks

This is a direct out connector for connecting to your recorder or PA system.
The polarity is as shown in the diagram at the end of this manual.
* When you are using Chorus function, the “Line Out R” outputs inverted cho-

17. GND LIFT switch

The setting of this switch specifies whether pin 1 of the direct out connector
will be connected to the electrical ground of the T35 itself. If your equipment
is connected in a complex way and a ground loop is causing hum, using this
switch to disconnect the ground will reduce the hum.

18. POWER switch

This switch turns the power on/off. When you are not using the amp, please
leave it turned off.

19. HEADPHONES/LINE OUT jack

This is a stereo 1/4” jack that outputs a mono audio signal. You can connect
to an external mixing console or similar equipment.
* If you’re using headphones or external equipment with this output, no sound

will be heard from the internal speaker.

This headphone output produces a large volume of sound. Ensure that the
volume has been turned down before beginning to play using the head-

20. AC INPUT

Connect the included AC power cable to this connector. Only use this amp

Troubleshooting

1. The power supply cannot be switched ON.

• Check that the power cable has been connected correctly.

• Try plugging it into a different power supply socket and see if the same prob­lem occurs

2. The power supply can be turned ON, but no sound is
produced.

• Check that the guitar and microphone have been connected correctly.

• Remove the effects between the guitar and the amplifier and check to see if no
sound is produced.

• Replace the shielded cab

• Check to see if the volume on the guitar is set to “0”.

• Check to see if the microphone switch has been turned ON.

• Check to see if there are batteries in the guitar. If there are, check that they are
OK.

• Use a diff

• Check to see if the volume on the amp is set to “0”.

3. Noise occurs

• Check to see if anything in the immediate vicinity is resonating or banging
against the amplifier to produce the noise.

• Check to see if the plug cover on the shielded cable is loose.

• Check that the string action (distance between strings and frets) is correctly
adjusted (not too low).

• Check to see if the guitar batteries are depleted.

• Is the microphone used as unbalanced? If so, noise occurs easily.

• Use another guitar, microphone, effects and cable to see if the same noise is
produced.

20）本機の設置場所などによっては、近くに置いたラジオへの雑音やテレビ画

面のチラツキやゆがみが発生する場合があります。このような現象が本機

の影響によるものと思われましたら、本機の電源スイッチを切ってくださ

い。電源スイッチを切ることにより、ラジオやテレビなどが正常な状態に

回復するようでしたら、本機を遠ざけるか本機またはラジオ、テレビなど

の向きを変えてみてください。

万一、煙が出ている、変な臭いがするなどの異常状態のまま使用すると、
火災・感電の原因になります。すぐに電源スイッチを切り、プラグをコ

 異物が内部に入った場合の対処のしかた

 大音量で長時間使用しないでください

ヘッドホン、スピーカーからの出力音量は設定によって、長時間使用す

風呂場や加湿器のそばなど、湿度が高いところや雨天、海岸、水辺など

 通風孔をふさがないでください

本機の後部は通風孔になっていますので、十分に壁から離してください。
通風孔をふさぐと本機内部に熱がこもり、火災の原因になることがあり
ます。

 温度の高い場所へ設置しないでください

直射日光の当たる場所や、ストーブ、ヒータなどの発熱器具のそばなど、
温度が高いところに置かないでください。内部の温度が上がり、火災の
原因になることがあります。

 油飛びや湯気の当たる場所へ設置しないでください

調理台のそばなど、油飛びや湯気が当たる場所に置かないでください。
火災・感電の原因になることがあります。

 国内のみでご使用ください

本機は国内電源仕様になっていますので、海外ではご使用になれません。



注意

 長期不在の時はコンセントを抜いてください

ものを乗せたり、加熱したりすると破損し、火災・感電の原因になりま

 不安定な場所へ設置しないでください

ぐらついた台の上や傾いたところなど、不安定な場所に置かないでくだ
さい。バランスがくずれて倒れたり、落下して破損やけがの原因になる
ことがあります。特に本製品のチルト・アップ・バー使用時は水平で安
定した場所に設置し、製品の上に乗る、重いものを載せる、よりかかっ
たりするなどをしないでください。

クイックスタート

（1）接続

１.使用上 のご注 意を よく読 み、ア ンプを 設置
します。次 に付属の電 源ケ ーブル を用 いて
家庭用電源コンセントからリアパネルのAC
INPUTに接続します。

２.アンプを設置する場所、条件によってサウン
ド、特に低域のレスポンスが変化しますので
ご注意下さい。

３.エレクトリック・アコースティック・ギターを接
続します。接続にはギター・シールド・ケーブル
を用いてください。

４.コンパクト・エフェクターを使用する場合はシールド・ケーブルを用いてア
コースティック・ギターとアンプの間に接続します。

５.MASTERまたはVOLUMEが0になっていることを確認し、POWERス
イッチをオンにするとPOWER用LEDが点灯します。

（2）コントロールを使用する

各社アコースティック・ギターの出力レベルは様々で、極端にレベルの高い
ものもあります。ここで指示するVOLUMEやMASTERの位置はあくまで目安
であり、ご使用のアコースティック・ギターの出力にあわせて調節してください。

１.まずアコースティック・ギターのヴォリューム・コントロールを上げます。

２.次に３つのEQはセンターにセットし、VOLUMEを11時くらいまで上げます。

３.MASTERVOLUMEを12時くらいまでの間で音量を調節します。

４.MODEスイッ チをNATURALモー ドに、CHORUSス イッチ をOFFにし て
おきます。

５.EQUALIZERを使用します。図のよう
なセッティングを試してみましょう。

 アクテ ィブ・コント ロー ルなので、

右へ 回 す と ブ ー ス ト、 左 へ 回 す と
カットです。ブーストしたときに歪むような場合はVOLUMEを下げて調節
してみてください。

６.次にMODEス イ ッ チ を押 し てSHAPEDモ ー ドに し ま
しょう。中落ちで低域、高域を強調し た音色が簡単に得
られます。コード・ストロークなどにも合うでしょう。

７.REVERBコントロールを使用します。好みに応じてミッ
クス・レベルを調整してください。

８.CHORUSをかけてみます。コーラス・スイッチを
オンに し、DEPTHコントロール(T35のみ)を右に
まわすことでコーラス・エフェクト効果を深くする
ことができます。SPEEDコントロールを右に回す
ことでコーラス・エフェクトのうねりのスピードを
速くできます。

各部の名称

 1.POWERLED
 2.MICROPHONE-INPUTジャック

XLRのバランス入力端子です。1-GND、2-HOT、3-COLDです。コンデ
ンサ・マイクのような、ファントム電源が必要なマイクロフォンはご使用
になれません。ダイナミック・マイクを使用してください。

 3.MICROPHONE-TONEコントロール

マイクロフォン・プリアンプ部の音色を調節できます。右にまわすと高域
が強調され、左にまわすと低域が強調されます。

 4.MICROPHONE-VOLUMEコントロール

マイクロフォン・プリアンプ部の出力レベルをコントロールできます。歪
んだりハウリングしたりしないレベルに調節してください。

 5.CD/AUXINジャック

RCAピンジャックの入力端子です。ポータブル音楽再生機器等のヘッド
フォン出力と接続して使用できます。RCAピンプラグを使用してくださ
い。音量はお手持ちの再生機器のヴォリューム・コントロールや本製品の
MASTERVOLUMEコントロールで調節できます。

 6.MASTER/REVERBコントロール

内蔵スプリング・リバーブのミックス・レベルを調節します。リバーブは
GUITAR入力及びMICROPHONE入力に有効です。

 7.MASTER/VOLUMEコントロール

アンプの出力レベルをコントロールします。MICROPHONE INPUT や
CD/AUXINの出力レベルも同時にコントロールできます。

 8.INPUTジャック

標準1/4モノラルジャック端子です。

 9.MODEスイッチ

このスイッチによりNATURALモードかSHAPEDモードの２つのモード
から基本の音色を選択することができます。Naturalモードではギター本
来の自然な音を、Shapedモードではいわゆる中落ちの低域と高域が強調
されたダイナミックな音色が得られます。

10.GUITAR/VOLUMEコントロール

ギター・プリアンプ部の出力を調節します。ギター側のボリュームを下げ
てアンプのボリュームを上げるよりもギター側のボリュームをなるべく上
げて、アンプのボリュームを下げた方がノイズを押さえることができます。
また、ギターのボリュームを上げすぎたり、EQを大きく上げて歪んでし
まうような場合にはこのボリュームを下げてください。

周波数等巻末スペックシートを参照してください。

12.CHORUS/DEPTHコントロール

コーラス・エフェクトのかかり具合を調節することができます。右に回す
に従ってかかり具合が深くなります。

13.CHORUSスイッチ

コーラス・エフェクトのON/OFFの切り替えができます。
※コーラス・エフェクトはギター・チャンネルのみに有効です。

14.CHORUS/SPEEDコントロール

コーラス・エフェクトのうねりのスピードをコントロールできます。右に
回すに従って、スピードが速くなります。

15.FOOTSWITCHジャック

別売りIFS2Xを接続して使用します。コーラス・オン・オフとリバーブ・
オン・オフの切り替えをフットスイッチによって操作することができます。
＊ご注意：フッ ト ス イ ッ チを接続してご 使 用 さ れ て い る 場合、本体の

CHORUSスイッチが使用できなくなります。

16.LINEOUTL/Rジャック

レコーダーやPA等に信号を送るバランス伝送出力です。極性は巻末スペッ
クシートのページに図示してあります。
※ギタ ー・ プ リ アン プ の コー ラ ス・ エフ ェ ク トを 使 用 し てい る 場 合、

LINEOUTLからは本体スピーカーと同相のコーラス・エフェクトが出
力されますがLINE OUTRからは位相反転（逆相の信号）ミックスさ
れたコーラス・エフェクトが出力されます。内臓のスピーカー部から出
力されるコーラス・エフェクトはLINEOUTLから出力される信号と同
相になります。またLINEOUTの信号は
整できません。  VOLUMEコントロールで調節してください。







17.GNDLIFTスイッチ

ダイレクト・アウト・コネクタの１番ピンを本体のグランドと接続するか
切り離すかを切り替えます。複雑に機器を配線し、グランド・ループでハ
ム・ノイズが増加した場合に、グランドを切り離すとハム・ノイズを軽減
させることができます。



18.POWERスイッチ

電源をON/OFFします。ご使用にならないときはOFFにしておきましょう。

19.HEADPHONES/LINEOUT

1/4プラグのステレオ・ヘッドフォン用出力ジャックです。外部のミキ
シングコンソール等に接続してご使用することもできます。
※ヘッドフォン使用時は内蔵スピーカーから音が出ません。

警告

本製品のヘッド・フォン出力は大きな音量を出力できます。ヘッドフォン
を使用して演奏を始める際はまず、ボリューム・コントロールを絞り、ゆっ
くりとコントロールを上げて、音量を調節してください。大きな音量やプ
ラグを抜き差しする際のノイズや歪んだ音声信号は、ヘッド・フォンの故
障の原因になるばかりでなく、使用者の聴覚を害する可能性があります。
十分にご注意の上ご使用ください。

20.ACINPUT

付属のACケーブルを接続する端子です。パネルに表示してある入力電圧
以外の電圧では絶対使用しないでください。

故障かなと思ったら

1.電源が入らない。

•電源ケーブルは正しく接続されていますか。

•他のコンセントに接続しても電源が入りませんか。

２.電源は入るが、音が出ない

•ギターまたはマイクロフォンが正しく接続されていますか。

•ギターまたはマイクロフォンとアンプ間のエフェクター類を外しても音が

•シールド・ケーブルを変えても音が出ませんか。

•ギターのボリュームが０になっていませんか。

•ギターまたはマイクロフォンのスイッチはオンになっていますか。

•ギターに電池は入っていますか。電池は正常ですか。

•他のギターまたはマイクロフォンを使っても音が出ませんか。

•アンプのボリュームが０になっていませんか。

３.ノイズが出る

•周辺のものが共振して震えたり、ぶつかったりして音を出していませんか。

•シールド・ケーブルのプラグ・カバーがゆるんでいませんか。

•ギターの弦高は、低すぎたりせず、正しく調整されていますか。

•ギターの電池が弱っていませんか。

•マイクをアンバランスとして使用していませんか。その場合はノイズが乗
りやすくなっています。

•他のギター、エフェクター、ケーブルを使用してもノイズが出ますか。

故障などの場合

この製品は、厳重に検査を終えた上で出荷されております。故障かな？と思っ
たら、お手数ですが以上の項目をぜひご確認ください。万一使用中に異常が発
生した場合は、お買い上げになった販売店にお尋ねください。また、修理をご
