Thank you for choosing the HUAWEI Ascend P7 smartphone.
Before you start, let's take a look at your new phone.

Installation

Install the micro-SIM cards.
Note: Make sure the hole position on the card tray is consistent with that in the preceding figure.
Install the micro-SIM card trays.
Insert the eject tool into the holes next to the micro-SIM card trays.
Remove the micro-SIM card trays.
Exercise caution when using the SIM eject tool to avoid injuring yourself or damaging your phone. Keep it away from children as well.
Follow the instructions in the following figures to complete the installation. Then press and hold the power button to power on your phone.

Locking and unlocking the screen

Your phone automatically locks its screen after being idle for a specified period of time.
Alternatively, you can press the power button to
manually lock the screen. You can go to
Display
>
Sleep
to set the screen timeout period.
If the screen is off, press the power button to turn it on. Slide your finger in any direction to unlock the screen.

Huawei Beam

Huawei Beam lets you quickly share data between two Near Field Communication (NFC) enabled phones.
Go to and touch
Touch

To beam a web page or contact to another phone, place the two phones back to back and touch the content.
