Application scenario

Insert the HUAWEI CarFi's power connector end into your car's 12 V cigarette lighter socket. Your HUAWEI CarFi will then be able to:

 Provide Internet access for Wi-Fi devices  Supply power to devices via the USB port (rated output: 5 V,

Getting to Know Your HUAWEI CarFi

Power button

 Network indicator

 Blinking red: the HUAWEI CarFi is starting up.  Steady red: the HUAWEI CarFi failed to register with network

or only a 2G network is available.

 Steady yellow: weak 3G/LTE signal strength or disabled

external charging function.

 Steady green: strong 3G/LTE signal strength.  Blinking cyan: the HUAWEI CarFi software is being updated.

 Message indicator

 Blinking white (first 3 minutes) and then remaining steady

white: the message inbox is full.

 Steady white: there are unread messages in your inbox, or

the message storage is full.

 Off: there are no unread messages in your inbox.

Getting Started

Step 1:

Insert your micro-SIM card.

Step 2:

nsert the HUAWEI CarFi into your car's 12 V cigarette lighter

socket.

Step 3:

Press and hold the power button to power on your HUAWEI CarFi. It will automatically connect to the network provided by the SIM card.

Step 4:

Search for the newly created Wi-Fi network on your device (such as your smartphone, tablet, and portable gaming console). Select the SSID of your HUAWEI CarFi and enter the Wi-Fi key.

Note:

 The default SSID and the Wi-Fi

password are printed on the HUAWEI CarFi, as shown in the following figure.

 If you have configured a new

password for the Wi-Fi access, enter the new Wi-Fi password.

You are now connected to the Internet via HUAWEI CarFi.

Note:

If no devices are connected to your HUAWEI CarFi within 30 minutes, it will disable its internet network. If no devices are connected for 2 hours, your HUAWEI CarFi will automatically shut down.

Prise en main

Étape 1 :

Insérez la carte micro-SIM.

Étape 2 :

Insérez le HUAWEI CarFi dans la prise allume-cigare 12 V de votre voiture.

Étape 3 :

Appuyez de façon prolongée sur le bouton d'alimentation pour allumer votre HUAWEI CarFi. Il se connectera automatiquement au réseau fourni par la carte SIM.

Étape 4 :

Recherchez le réseau Wi-Fi récemment créé sur votre périphérique (tel que votre smartphone, tablette et console de jeu portable). Sélectionnez le SSID de votre HUAWEI CarFi et saisissez la clé Wi-Fi.

Remarque :

 Le SSID par défaut et le mot de passe Wi-Fi sont imprimés sur

le HUAWEI CarFi, tel qu'indiqué sur l'image suivante.

 Si vous avez configuré un

nouveau mot de passe d'accès

Wi-Fi, saisissez-le. Vous êtes désormais connecté à Internet via HUAWEI CarFi.

Remarque :

Si aucun appareil n'est

connecté à votre HUAWEI CarFi dans un délai de 30 minutes,

ce dernier désactivera son réseau Internet. Si aucun appareil

n'est connecté pendant 2 heures, votre HUAWEI CarFi

s'éteindra automatiquement.

 Leuchtet gelb: schwache 3G/LTE-Signalstärke oder externe

Ladefunktion deaktiviert.

 Leuchtet grün: starke 3G/LTE-Signalstärke.  Blinkt cyan: die HUAWEI CarFi-Software wird derzeit

aktualisiert.

 Nachrichten-Anzeige

 Blinkt weiß (erste 3 Minuten) und leuchtet anschließend

Erste Schritte

Schritt 1:

Setzen Sie die micro-SIM-Karte ein.

Schritt 2:

Verbinden Sie den HUAWEI CarFi mit dem 12 V-Zigarettenanzünder in Ihrem Auto.

Schritt 3:

Drücken und halten Sie die Netztaste, um den HUAWEI CarFi einzuschalten. Das Gerät stellt automatisch eine Verbindung mit dem über die SIM-Karte bereitgestellten Netzwerk her.

Schritt 4:

Suchen Sie nach dem neu erstellten WLAN-Netzwerk auf Ihrem Gerät (z. B. Smartphone, Tablet und tragbare Spielkonsole). Wählen Sie die SSID Ihres HUAWEI CarFi und geben Sie den WLAN-Schlüssel ein.

Hinweis:

 Die SSID und der WLAN-Schlüssel sind wie in der folgenden

Abbildung dargestellt auf dem

HUAWEI CarFi aufgedruckt.

 Falls Sie ein neues Kennwort für

den WLAN-Zugang eingerichtet

haben, geben Sie das neue

WLAN-Kennwort ein. Sie sind jetzt über den HUAWEI CarFi mit dem Internet verbunden.

Hinweis:

Wenn innerhalb von 30 Minuten keine Geräte mit dem

HUAWEI CarFi verbunden werden, wird dessen

Internet-Netzwerk deaktiviert. Werden innerhalb von 2

Stunden keine Geräte verbunden, wird der HUAWEI CarFi

automatisch ausgeschaltet.

Scenario applicativo

Collegare l’HUAWEI CarFi all’estremità del cavo di alimentazione posizionato all'interno della presa da 12 V dell’accendisigari della tua auto. Una volta collegato, il dispositivo consentirà:

 Rosso lampeggiante: L’HUAWEI CarFi è in fase di avvio.  Rosso fisso: L’HUAWEI CarFi non riesce a registrarsi con la

rete oppure è disponibile solo la rete 2G.

 Giallo fisso: Potenza del segnale 3G/LTE debole oppure la

funzione di caricamento esterna è disattiva.

 Verde fisso: Potenza del segnale 3G/LTE forte.  Ciano lampeggiante: Il software HUAWEI CarFi è in fase di

aggiornamento.

 Bianco lampeggiante (i primi 3 minuti), quindi bianco fisso:

Casella dei messaggi piena.

 Bianco fisso: Sono presenti dei messaggi non letti nella inbox,

oppure la memoria dei messaggi è piena.

 Spento: Non ci sono messaggi non letti nella inbox.

Operazioni preliminari

Passo 1:

Inserire la scheda micro-SIM.

Passo 2:

Collegare l’HUAWEI CarFi all'interno della presa da 12 V dell’accendisigari della tua auto.

Passo 3:

Tenere premuto il pulsante di accensione per attivare il dispositivo. Il dispositivo si connetterà automaticamente alla rete fornita dalla scheda SIM.

Passo 4:

Ricercare tra le nuove reti Wi-Fi visualizzate sul tuo dispositivo (smartphone, tablet, console videogiochi portatili). Selezionare l’SSID dell'HUAWEI CarFi ed inserire la password Wi-Fi.

Nota:

 L'SSID predefinito e la password Wi-Fi sono stampate sul

dispositivo, come illustrato nella figura che segue.

 Se hai configurato una nuova

password per l'accesso alla

rete Wi-Fi, inserisci la nuova

password Wi-Fi. Connessione Internet avvenuta tramite HUAWEI CarFi.

Nota:

Se non ci sono dispositivi connessi all'HUAWEI CarFi, entro

30 minuti la sua rete internet verrà disattivata. Se non ci

sono dispositivi connessi, entro 2 ore il dispositivo si

spegnerà automaticamente.

Aan de slag

Stap 1:

Installeer uw micro-SIM-kaart.

Stap 2:

Sluit de HUAWEI CarFi aan op de 12 V sigarettenaanstekeraansluiting van uw auto.

Stap 3:

Houd de aan/uit-knop ingedrukt om uw HUAWEI CarFi in te schakelen. Hij maakt automatisch verbinding met het netwerk van de SIM-kaart.

Stap 4:

Introdução

Procure a rede Wi-Fi recentemente criada no seu dispositivo (smartphone, tablet e consola de jogos portátil). Seleccione o SSID do HUAWEI CarFi e insira a chave Wi-Fi.

Nota:

 O SSID predefinido e a palavra-passe do Wi-Fi estão

palavra-passe de acesso ao Wi-Fi,

insira a nova palavra-passe. Efectuou uma ligação com sucesso à Internet através do HUAWEI CarFi.

Nota:

A rede de Internet do HUAWEI CarFi irá desactivar-se se

nenhum dispositivo se ligar no prazo de 30 minutos. O

HUAWEI CarFi irá encerrar automaticamente se nenhum

dispositivo se ligar no prazo 2 horas.

Safety information

Traffic security

Operating environment

 Avoid dusty, damp, or dirty environments. Avoid magnetic

fields. Using the device in these environments may result in circuit malfunctions.

 Do not use your device during thunderstorms to protect

your device against any danger caused by lightning.

 Ideal operating temperatures are -10 °C to +35 °C. Ideal

storage temperatures are -20 °C to +70 °C. Extreme heat or cold may damage your device or accessories.

 Keep the device and accessories in a well-ventilated and cool

area away from direct sunlight. Do not enclose or cover your device with towels or other objects. Do not place the device in a container with poor heat dissipation, such as a box or bag.
