Set up Push to Talk
1. Press the PTT button on the left panel of the device.
2. Tap Yes when prompted to initialize PTT.
3. Type a name that is up to 20 characters (this will be your PTT user name) and tap OK. You will receive a notification when the PTT service is initialized successfully.
Add new contacts to your PTT contact list
1. On the Home screen, slide to the AT&T tab, then tap the Push to Talk icon .
2. On the PTT Menu screen, tap Add Contacts.
3. You may now enter the new contact’s name and mobile phone number, then tap OK.
4. The phone will now send the invitation to your new contact. You will see an icon while the invitation is in progress.
To transfer music into the device from your PC, get set up with these steps:
1. Insert a microSD™ card for extra storage into the phone (1GB or larger is recommended).
2. Install Microsoft® ActiveSync® software onto your PC.
3. Verify that Windows Media® Player 10 or higher is installed on your PC.
You are now ready to transfer music to your device.
1. Connect the device to the PC via the USB sync cable.
2. On the PC, open Windows Media Player and click on the Sync tab.
3. Drag the MP3 or other music files you want to load on your device to the Sync list. You can move MP3, WMA, QCP, M4A, AWB, AMR, MID, MIDI, and RMI music files from your PC.
4. Click on Start Sync and the music files will be loaded into your device.

On the Home screen, slide to the AT&T tab, then tap the AT&T Mall icon .

AT&T Music
AT&T Music provides the ultimate music experience with a few clicks. Listen to your favorite music, watch the latest music videos, and stay in the know with music news and more.
1. On the Home screen, slide to the AT&T tab, then tap the AT&T Music icon .
2. Select the application you wish and press OK.
Transfer Music
Playing music on your device provides the ultimate music experience. Listen to your favorite music. The built-in Windows Media® Player provides the ultimate in control and flexibility to organize your music and listen to it the way you want to.
Note: The number of files you can store depends on the size and format options of the memory card.
Play Music
Listen to the music you have transferred to your phone. It is easy!
To play music on the Home screen
1. On the Home screen, slide to the Music tab.
2. Swipe upward/downward on the screen or press NAVIGATION Up/Down to flip through albums and the music or songs in an album.
3. When you have selected the album you want to play, touch .
Note: Parental controls are available.
CV
CV brings your phone to life. Watch news, sports, weather, and entertainment clips via AT&T’s high-speed data network while on the go.
1. On the Home screen, slide to the AT&T tab, then tap the CV icon . The phone opens the browser to the CV web site.
3. Once connected, select the program you wish to view and tap Play. You can also select a program from the Video Categories.
Personalize your CV content
1. Select Customize CV on the CV home screen.
2. Select Edit My Favorites and tap OK.
3. Select the content you would like to appear on your CV home screen and tap OK.

Turn your HTC FUZE™ into a GPS navigation system.
Install AT&T Navigator
1. On the Home screen, slide to the AT&T tab, then tap the AT&T GPS icon .
2. Tap Get AT&T Navigator.
3. When a dialog box opens, select the Open file after download option, then tap Yes to download the file.
4. Once AT&T Navigator has installed successfully, tap OK to restart the HTC FUZE™.
Generate a route with AT&T Navigator
1. On the Home screen, slide to the AT&T tab, tap the AT&T GPS icon , then enter all required log in information.
2. Tap Drive To > Address > Type It, enter your desired destination and tap Done.
3. AT&T Navigator will connect to the GPS satellites and provide you with directions to your destination.

To play music using Windows Media
1. Tap Start > Programs > Windows Media.
2. Tap Menu > Library.
3. Tap Menu > Update Library. Tap Done when the library has been updated.
4. Tap My Music > All Music and scroll to the song you want to play. Tap Play.
Text Messaging
When you need to communicate privately and quickly, use text messaging. You can text message to other mobile phones and email addresses.
1. Do any of the following while on the Home screen:
• Slide to the Messages tab, then touch the New
Message icon .
• Slide open the keyboard, tap Messages, then
tap Menu > New > Text Message.
2. Enter the mobile phone number of one or more recipients, separating them with a semicolon. To access mobile phone numbers from Contacts, tap To.
3. Enter your message.
• To quickly add common messages, tap
Menu > My Text and tap a desired message.
• To check the spelling, tap Menu > Spell Check.
4. Tap Send.
Take and send a photo
1. Slide to the Photos and Videos tab, then tap .
2. Touch and hold the ENTER button to activate auto-focus, then press it to take the shot.
3. In the Review screen, tap , select Send via MMS, then tap Send.
4. In To: , enter the phone number of your message recipient. To add mobile phone numbers from Contacts, tap To.
5. Enter the message subject, then compose the MMS message.
6. Tap Send.
Take a video
1. Slide to the Photos and Videos tab, then tap .
2. Touch and hold the ENTER button to activate auto-focus, then press it to start recording. To stop recording, press the ENTER button again.
3. In the Review screen, tap , select Send via MMS, then tap Send.
4. In To: , enter the phone number of your message recipient. To add mobile phone numbers from Contacts, tap To.
5. Enter the message subject, compose the MMS message, then tap Send.

Personal Email Setup
Take your email with you. With Xpress Mail, you can check your Yahoo! Mail®, EarthLink®, and others easily from your device.
To use Xpress Mail to set up your personal email account, slide to the AT&T tab, then tap the Messaging icon . Tap Get Xpress Mail, then follow the screen prompts.
After setting up your personal email account, you can now send and receive personal emails
1. On the Home screen, slide to the AT&T tab, then tap the Messaging icon .
2. Tap your personal email account, for example Yahoo! or Gmail to open your email Inbox.
3. Tap Menu > Send/Receive to download your emails.
4. To compose a new email, tap Menu > New.
5. When you are finished composing your message, tap Send.
Instant Messaging
Getting started with Mobile Instant Messaging (IM) is as easy as using it. With Mobile IM, you will enjoy a familiar desktop-like experience for sending IMs to colleagues and friends who use Yahoo!® Messenger, AOL® Instant Messenger™, and Windows Live™ Messenger.
Open Instant Messaging and sign on
1. On the Home screen, slide to the AT&T tab, then tap the Messaging icon .
2. Tap Instant Messaging, then tap the IM service you want to use.
3. Enter your screen name (AOL® Instant Messenger™), e-mail address (Windows Live™ Messenger), or Yahoo! ID (Yahoo!® Messenger) and password, then tap Sign In.
You’ll be up and running in an instant.
Organize Me
The HTC FUZE™ allows you to take your address book and calendar with you and stay on top of your day. Use the Tasks, Notes and Alarm Clock to stay organized while on the move and in between errands.

TALK/SEND
• Press to answer an incoming call or dial a number.
• During a call, press and hold to toggle the speakerphone on and off.

During a call or when playing music, press this button to increase the volume.
VOLUME DOWN
During a call or when playing music, press this button to lower the volume.

Press to launch the Push to Talk function.

Make a Phone Call
Making a call is just a touch away.
1. From any screen, press the TALK/SEND button ( ) to open the Phone screen.
2. On the Phone screen, tap the desired phone number using the Phone keypad.
Tip: You can also use your slide out keyboard to
enter the phone number you wish to dial.
3. Press the TALK/SEND button ( ) to make the call.
4. To end the call, touch End Call on the screen or press the END button ( ).
Note: Using Microsoft ActiveSync will also keep information between your
phone and your PC up to date at all times.
Calendar and Contacts
On the Home screen tab, tap Calendar or Contacts.
You now are able to access the Calendar and Contacts.
Tasks and Notes
On the Home screen, slide to the Programs tab and you will be able to access Notes and Tasks functions.
Alarm
1. Tap the digital clock on the Home screen tab.
2. Tap the Time or Alarms tab to set the time or to set alarms.
MEdia™ Net
With MEdia Net, you can get the information that is important to you at a glance. Your local weather, your team’s scores, your movie theaters are all just 1–2 clicks away. And on your phone, you can be looking up information while you’re on a call.
1. On the Home screen, slide to the AT&T tab, then tap the MEdia Net icon .
2. Scroll and tap the content you want to browse.
From your device:
1. From MEdia Net home page, tap Customize MEdia Net.
2. Tap Edit Categories.
3. Select the categories you would like to appear on your home page, then tap Save.
From your PC:
1. Go to att.com/mymedianet.
2. Choose the web sites you want on your device.
3. Click Update Now to save the changes to your device.
