HP Ergo 1600 Color Display (D2845A)

The HP Ergo 1600 (D2845A) is a 21-inch color display. It can be used with a
Hewlett-Packard personal computer (or equivalent) equipped with an HP Ultra
VGA video solution (or equivalent).
Controls, Indicators and Adjustments
Contrast, brightness, size, position, and shape of screen image may be adjusted
using on screen menus. The on screen menus may be displayed and
manipulated using the , , , and buttons on the front panel of the
display.
To display the main menu, press either the or control buttons.
To select an option, use the and buttons to scroll to the icon required,
then press to confirm your choice.

Once selected, make any necessary adjustments to the option chosen using the
, , and control buttons as directed.
Adjusting the Quality of the Displayed Image

To select the required language, use this option.
To adjust the contrast (image white level), use this
option. Contrast is the difference in brightness
between the dark and light parts of the displayed
image.
To adjust the overall picture brightness (image black
level), use this option. Set the brightness so that the
dark areas of the display remain black.
To adjust the color temperature, use this option.
Choosing 6550 gives a white which is close to average
daylight, choosing 9300 gives a white with a
noticeable bluish tinge.
To degauss the display, use this option. Degaussing
keeps the display free from unwanted magnetism that
can result in color impurity. Degaussing is
accompanied by brief instability of the displayed
image and a brief humming sound.
To reduce horizontal moire in the displayed image,
use this option. Moire is a visual pattern with ripples
and waves that can result from using very high
resolutions.
