Before you Begin
This cleaner mu st be operated in accordance with the se instructions and used only for d omestic
household clea ning to remove DRY dirt and dust from hous ehold carpets, flooring, walls and f abrics.
This cleaner is n ot fit to be used as an industrial clean er hence will void the manufacture r’s war ranty if
used inappropriately.

Important
Always switch the cleane r off and remove the plug from the elec tricity supply before clean ing your
appliance, when n ot in use, or attempting any maintenance task. T he cleaner must only be conn ected to
an AC supply at the voltage sh own on the rating plate. This cleaner shou ld only be used for its intended
purpose as desc ribed in these instructions.
Precautionary measures:
When using your vacuum cleaner, basic precautions
should always be observed, including the following;

physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and k nowledge, unless they
have been given supe rvision or instruction
concerning us e of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
2. Children sh ould be supervised to ensure th at
they do not play with the appliance.
3. To prevent electrical sho ck, do not immerse
the appliance, power cord or power plug into
water or other liquids.
4. To prevent electrical sho ck, do not use the
vacuum cleaner ou tdoors or on wet surfaces.
5. Always check th e power cord before use, the
power cord and the plug sh ould be in a good
condition and must not be damage d. If the
power supply cord is da maged or defective,
it must be replaced by th e manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
6. Do not unplug by pulling on th e power cord.
To unplug, grasp the plug not the power
cord. Use only Australia n and New Zealand
electrical safe ty approved extension cords.
7. Do not pull or carr y the appliance by the
power cable, use the power ca ble as a
handle or pull the power cable around
sharp edges or corners. Avoid running
the appliance over the p ower cable.
8. Ensure the appli ance is switched off
before unplugging.
9. Do not handle or operate the
appliance with wet hands and
follow electrica l safety precautions
at all times.
10. E xtreme caution should be
exercised when using the
appliance on stairs.
11. Do n ot attempt to change
the attachments wh ile the
appliance is plugged in to
Mains power supply. Switch
off and remove plug fro m
Mains power supply.
Use only manufacturer’s

accessories.

IMPORTANT! Always switch off the cleaner and remove the plug from the electricity
power supply before cleaning your appliance, when not in use or attempting any
maintenance task. The cleaner must only be connected to an AC power supply
at the voltage shown on the rating label. This cleaner should only be used for its
intended purpose as described in this instruction manual. Never operate the vacuum
cleaner without filters.
1. D o not operate the vacuum cleaner too close to he aters, radiators, and other
hot surfaces.
2. Before inser ting the plug into the wall, make sure your hand is dr y.
3. Before turni ng on the vacuum cleaner, remove any large or sharp o bjects from the
floor or cleaning s urface in order to prevent damage to the filter.
4. When you want to pull the p lug from the wall, do not use the power cable, ge ntly
pull the plug from the power s ocket.
5. If the hose inlet, com bination floor tool or telescopic tube a re blocked, you should
switch off the clean er straight away and remove from mains power. First clear th e
blocked substanc e before attempting to start the vacuum cle aner again.
