01 Required Reading for Users
Users are required to use the purifier strictly in accordance with the methods described in this User Manual (“the Manual”), failing which our company shall not in any way be held liable for any financial and legal consequences with respect to loss of property due to damage to or leakage of the water purifier.
Caution
The purifier is designed for home use
only; it is not necessarily suitable for use in other circumstances;
Maintenance and repair of the purifier
as well as replacement of filter assemblies shall be carried out using parts approved by Honeywell Environmental & Combustion Controls (Tianjin) Co., Ltd Honeywell does not assume responsibility for repair warranty over quality issues, reduced performance or property loss as a result of use of unauthorized parts;
Maintenance and repair of the purifier
as well as replacement of filter assemblies are chargeable services;
The quality of water fed into the purifier
should be municipal potable water compliant with GB5749-2006 standard;
Please handle the filter cartridge with
exceptional care. Its membrane filaments are highly delicate. Please do not change or drop it;
Please do not feed use water with a temperature
of above 38°C when using the purifier;
Do not use purified water in the water tank
before raw water is fully filtered. This is to prevent raw water from being inadvertently mixed with purified water;
Make sure to place the purifier on a secure
and flat surface;
Do not place the product near flames or
high temperature. Otherwise it The latter may cause the product to become deformed;
Use the purified water as soon as it is
filtered. Lack of residual chlorine in the purified water means bacteria can easily proliferate in it. Please place the purified water in clean containers with cover, before storing the containers in refrigerator;
Do not put freeze the product in cold
storage; it may cause damage to the product.
Do not place the purifier under direct
sunlight or places with frequent sunlight.

Raw water is municipal potable water. Upon treatment its water quality is compliant with the “Sanitary Standard for Hygienic Safety and Function Evaluation on Treatment Devices of Drinking Water – General Devices” (2001).
• It is effective in eliminating residual
chlorine and chemical pollutants such as trichloromethane (chloroform). It also helps enhancing the taste of purified water.

Technique:

* Suitably adjust the filter cartridges’ replacement period based on the usage volume of purified water and local water quality. * The composite filter cartridge has undergone safety test by authorities (disease control center). Furthermore release of minute quantities of carbon
powder during use is a normal phenomenon and does not affect normal usage * Filtration of a container of water requires roughly 15~20 minutes (for raw water with a temperature of 25ºC; in areas with poorer water quality, the filtration period may be longer.)
1. Default setting: Press the “START” button on the counter for more than 3 seconds until “00” is displayed, flashing on the screen. Press the “START” button again to complete the default setting which is 35 days.
2. The display is on standby during normal use. Press “START” button to display the remaining number of days. When the counter shows “00” the filter cartridges will have to be replaced. Repeat the default setting operation after replacement of filter cartridges.

05 Warranty Repair Services
1. Warranty Repair Period
Warranty repair period is one year commencing on the date of purchase of product. Consumable materials are not covered by warranty (consumable materials include all types of filter cartridge assembly). Note: The purifier is designed for home use only; it is necessarily suitable for use in other circumstances
2. Warranty repair conditions
Users should comply with the following in order to keep the right for warranty repair: (1) The user has obtained the product lawfully through authorized retailers; (2) The user is able to offer the original tax invoice and instruction manual for the product; (3) The product has been used strictly in accordance with its instruction manual; (4) The user has used the product under suitable conditions; (5) Maintenance and repair, if required, should be carried out by appointed service providers.
3. Exceptions
The product is not covered by warranty for malfunction or damage under any of the following circumstances: (1) The product has been obtained through illegal means or illegal channels; (2) The tax invoice has been misplaced and relevant proof of product cannot be provided; (3) The product malfunctions or is damaged as a result of unreasonable use such as to contravene the instruction manual; (4) Forcible use of the product in abnormal conditions such as to cause it to malfunction or be damaged; (5) Intentional or unintentional human error; (6) Damage as a result of force majeure factors (e.g. natural disasters, wars, etc.) (7) The product has been serviced by unauthorized workers.
5. Repair warranty service process
(1) The user should immediately stop using the product in the event of malfunction. It should promptly contact our company’s appointed service provider after confirming that all warranty repair conditions have been met. (2) The user should show valid tax invoice for the product to the repair staff, before informing the repair staff of the product’s state and malfunction. The repair staff will then conduct relevant inspection and repair work. (3) If the cause of malfunction is covered by repair warranty, the user should pay service charge to the repair staff based on the fee standard provided by the repair staff.
4. Repair warranty services
For product malfunction or damage that occurs during the warranty repair period subject to the product meeting the warranty repair conditions and is not covered by exceptions our company will provide comprehensive warranty repair services in accordance with regulations. Such services include: (1) Free repair of malfunctioned equipment; (2) Free replacement of malfunctioned accessories; (3) Other items stipulated by State laws and regulations (including “Consumer Right Protection Law” and “Product Quality Law”)
