Construction

The Outside Tap consists of:

•Valve body with connecting elbow and inside threads according to DIN ISO 2999 to be installed inside

•Valve cardridge for wall thickness up to 500mm resp. 800mm

•Copper pipe, tin-plated on inside, diameter 22 x 1 mm

•Fitting with check valve and vacuum breaker according to DIN 1988, part 4 and DIN EN 1717

•Anti-twist guard

•Cutting aid

•Protective cap for construction site

•Insulation

Materials

•Valve housing made of red bronze

•Valve cartridge made of high-quality plastic

•Outside handwheel made of brass, chrome-plated

•Handwheel made of ABS plastic, chrome-plated

•Wall transition made of copper pipe, tin-plated on inside, with insulation

Application

The frost-protected Alwa-Outside Tap is used as external shutoff valve for potable water installations, for example as outside tap. The tap is on the outside and the valve is on the frostprotected inside of the wall. The outside tap is equipped with an air inelt valve and a vacuum breaker.
