WARNING: This device is configured for 12 V DC operation only. Do not connect to a higher voltage. Use only with NRTL approved Class 2 or LPS power supplies. To prevent potential ground loop issues, a separate PSU should be used for each camer a. A multiple-output PSU may be used if the multiple output PSU has isolated and protected (2 A max) outputs.

exposure. For example, avoid staring into the beam or viewing the LEDs directly with optical instruments at close range.
Important Safety Instructions
Read and keep these instructions.  Ensure that your inst a llation a rea c an safe ly s upport 3 t imes the weight
of the camera.
Do not install the camera in extreme temperature conditions. Only use
the camera where temperatures are within the limits shown in the camera specifications. Be especially careful to provide ventilation when operating under high temperatures.
Do not install indoor rated cameras where they will be exposed to rain
or moisture.
To prevent damage to the imager, do not aim the camera toward an
extreme light sour ce.
Do not touch the camera lens, dome or bezel (front glass plate).  Do not drop the camera or subject it to physical shock.  Do not use strong o r abras ive c leane rs, c lean only w ith a soft c loth an d
mild detergent or alcohol.
Do not open the camera or attempt to service it yourself. Refer all
service issues to your dealer .

This series of camera adopts a new generation imaging sensor with high sensitivity and advanced circuit design technology. It features high resolution, low image distortion, and low noise, which makes it ideal for surveillance systems and image processing systems.

Installation
Before you start:
Make sure that the camera is in good condition and al l of the assem bly
parts are included.
Make sure that all related equipment is powered-off during the
installation.
Check that the camera specification agrees with the installation
environment.
To avoid damage, ensure the power supply voltage matches your
camera requirements.
If the product does not function properly, please contact your dealer or
the nearest service center. Do not disassembl e the camera for repair or maintenance by yourself.
Make sure that the installation surface is strong enough to withstand
three times the wei ght of the camera.
Ceiling/Wall Mounting for HD40H(X) Camera
Steps:
1. Hold the mounting base, and rotate the lower dome counterclockwise
to disassemble the lower dome and the black liner (see Figure 1-5).
2. Drill the screw holes and the cable hole in the ceil ing/wall according to
the supplied mounting template.

3. Route the cables through the cable hole and connect the
corresponding power and video (BNC) cables.

4. Fix the mounting base to the ceiling/wall with the supplied mounting
screws.

5. Adjust the surveillance angle:
2). Loosen the locking screws beside the lens (see Figure 1-1).
3). Adjust the cam era position from the pan angle [0°~355°], tilt angle [0°~90°], and lens rotation [0°~355°] to get the optimum angle.
4). Tighten the lock ing screws.

6. Fit the black liner back to the camera.

7. Install the lower dome back to the mounting base and rotate it clockwise to secure the lower dome.

2. Fix the mounting base to the ceiling/wall with the supplied mounting screws.

3. Route the cables through the cable hole and connect the corresponding power and video (BNC) cables.

4. Secure the camera to the mounting base.
5. Fix the enclosure to the camera.

6. Adjust the camera position according to the figure below to get an optimum surveillance angle.

Ceiling Mounting for HD31H(X) Camera
1. Drill the screws holes and the cable hole in the ceiling/wall according to the supplied mounting template.

2. Loosen the locking screw, and pull the clip plate outward to disassemble the camera from the mounting base.

3. Fix the mounting base to the ceiling/wall with the supplied mounting screws.

4. Route the cables through the cable hole and connect the corresponding power and video (BNC) cables.
5. Secure the camera to the mounting base by pushing the camera into base so it is held by the clips. Push the clip plate back into place and tighten the locking screw (see Figure 1-16).

6. Adjust the camera position according to the figure below to get an optimum surveillance angle.

7. Use a slotted screwdriver to adjust the ZOOM screw and the FOCUS screw until you get the optimum image on the connected monitor.
