The Honeywell CSO71AE Evaporative Air Cooler is ideal for spot cooling in any home or office. Three fan
speeds and oscillating louvers improve air circulation and provide an even distribution of cool air.
Optimum cooling is provided by the Honeycomb Cooling Media and the carbon dust filter cleanses the
air. The unit consumes only 50 watts of power and includes an automatic shutoff timer for even more
energy saving. The electronic control panel is easy to use and the all functions can be operated with the
remote control. This 12.3 lbs. lightweight unit has 4 durable casters for easy mobility from room to
room.
Natural, energy-efficient cooling with no compressor: The CSO71AE is built to maximize energy
efficiency and keep costs low. Warm air is drawn into the cooler through a dust and odor-reducing
carbon filter and enters the Honeycomb Cooling Media. Water pumped from the tank pours over the
media and as the warm air passes through, the water absorbs the heat, naturally cooling and

humidifying the air. A fan propels the cooled air out into the room. This no-compressor system cools

WHAT’S THE SECRET TO HIGHLY EFFICIENT, NATURAL HEAT ABSORPTION? The CSO71AE is equipped
with Honeycomb Cooling Media made of special cellulose paper and specially designed angles which
allow air to travel through at high speed with little resistance and more surface area to absorb heat from
the air. Honeycomb media cools more efficiently than other types of media for the same amount of
energy.
Not an Air Conditioner (Important - Please Read!)
The Evaporative Air Cooler is not an air conditioner as it does not use a compressor or refrigerant gas. It
should not be expected to cool to the same degree as a refrigerated air conditioner. It works best in hot
and dry conditions.
