Decontaminating an area with disinfectants

or other compounds to eliminate bacteria
or other biological items is required
in many industries on a regular basis.

Decontamination workers typically have full

body protection against the gases that can be
created from the decontamination process.

PROTECTION SOLUTIONS

This process can create toxic gasses

which should be monitored during

all phases of the decontamination

process - prior to personnel reentering

the area, during decontamination

and when PPE is being removed

by decontamination personnel.

For areas where decontamination

chemicals are stored, fixed gas

detectors are recommended to alert

when there has been a leak prior to

personnel entering the storage area.
