Method 1: Quar ter -tu rn Shutoff Valve

1. Use a q uarter- turn shut off valve or t he
equi va lent se rv ed by a hou se hold su pp ly line .
NOTE : To a llow su ffic ient wa te r flow to th e

2. Usi ng the ferr ule (slee ve) and 1/4 " compres sion
nut, c on nect th e 1/ 4" wate r li ne to the q ua rter- tu rn
shut off v alve.
NO TE : Do n ot over ti ghten .

3. Pla ce the free e nd of the 1/4 " water lin e into
an emp ty c ontai ne r or sink .

4. Tur n on main wat er supply a nd open
