Clean the windshield and place the electrostatic sticker into position. Remove unnecessary air bubbles.
Plug car charger intothe cigarette lighter, and plugthe power cord into theUSB interface.
Adjust the angle for customer viewing. You can adjust 50° up and down.
Place the device ontothe electrostatic film and route the cable.

Powerup&Shutdown
Access to car powerthrough cigarette lighter. Device starts recording automatically once the car starts. Device powers off whenthe car turned off.
Note: The cigarette lighterinterface of some modelsmay be normal. Please ensure thatthe device stops working after the car is turned off.Otherwise, the battery ofthe vehicle may lose power.
Recording
Recordings are divided tointo standard video andemergency video. The video voice canbe turned on/off viaSystem Settings or
Hikdashcam APP.

These instructions are intendedto ensure that userscan use the product correctly to avoid danger or property loss. Cautions:Injuryor equipment damage may occurif any of thecautions are neglected.
• In the use ofthe dashcam, you mustbe in strictcompliance with the local laws and regulations.
• You are recommended toinstall the dashcam onthe location ofrear mirror to ensure thedashcam can record withthe best surveillance view. DO NOT install thedashcam on the locationthat will blockthe driver’s sight.
• Keep the user manualfor future reference. Seeinitial connection of dashcam inuser manual.
• Purchase the MicroSD(TF) cardfrom authorized retailer. To ensure safe and stabledata storage, it isrecommended to use MicroSD(TF) card ofClass 10 or above.
• Format the new MicroSD(TF)card first before beingused.
• To protect MicroSD(TF) cardfrom damage, ensure thedashcam is is powered downbefore installing and uninstallingMicroSD(TF) card.
• If the dashcam isdirectly connected with thevehicle power
system, you are recommendedto power off thedashcam when the engine is off.Disconnect cigarette lighter toavoid insufficient voltage and abnormalstartup. Reconnect cigarette lighter to ensure dashcamwill work normally uponstartup.
• Operating temperature is at-20 C to 70 C (-4 F to 158 F). To protect the dashcam, avoidit being used inhigh or low temperatures, or high-humidity environment.Avoid using the dashcam in rain ordust.
• The manual is subjectto updating at anygiven time. The functions of the dashcammay vary according todifferent models.
*The driving assistance functionof the device onlysends alarms or warnings to the driverand cannot impair thedriver’s judgement and operation. The device shouldbe used carefully inavoiding accident and traffic violation. Pedestrian orobject recognition failure orrecognition error may occur due toexternal factors. DO NOTsolely rely onthe driving assistance function.
I Troubleshooting

Solution
The dashcam drops easily.
The dashcam does not turn on.
The dashcam keeps powering off.
Device is not recording properly.
Recording is blurred.
Recording is muted.
Clean the windshield beforeinstallation.
Ensure the vehicle isstarted. Check whether the carcharger is Óghtly secured. Press "RESET" button toreboot device. Restore to defaults: hold the RESETbuttonuntil prompted for sound.
Make sure the powercable is in goodcondition. Make sure the powercable is securely connectedon
both ends.
Ensure the dashcam turnson successfully. Check if MicroSD(TF) cardis inserted. Check the condition ofthe MicroSD(TF) card, e.g.its
format, its lifespan. There is a problemwith MicroSD(TF) card. Replaceit. Make sure the protecÓvefilm is peeled off.
Check whether the windshieldor the lens of dashcam is clear.
Edit audio settings onthe device or turnon sound saving in the HikDashcamapp.
Turn on soundthrough the dashcam'saudio control function.
Check whether the carcharger is tightly secured. Make sure the deviceis powered by carcharger with
5V, ≥2A interface.
Ensure the 3M tapeis placed properly tothe electronic film before theinstallation.
Dashcam reboots automatically.
Dashcam app cannot connect to dashcam.
Make sure HikDashcam appis installed. Please restart the dashcamdevice.
SolutionTrouble
Check the source playeror system of thephone. Please connect MicroSD(TF) cardto your computer and view the recordings.
Wi-Fi connection takes too long to connect.
It may be causedby the interferrence ofthe surrounding Wi-Fi signals. Ensurethe dashcam being used in anenvironment with no interferrence.
Close unnecessary programs inyour phone to memory for HikDashcam appthen reconnect Wi-Fi.
I Troubleshooting
The microSD (TF) card is not detected when connecting the dashcam to a computer with the supplied power cord.
The mobile app cannot display recordings.
The dashcam does notsupport data transmission, and the supplied power cord isonly for charging.
If you need totransfer data, connectthe microSD (TF) card to your computer.
Dashcam Wi-Fi password is forgotten.
The default password is1234567890. If you have revised the password, resetthe password bydoing the following:
1. Hold theRESETbuttononthe dashcam until the startup music is heard, thedashcam will be restored to the defaults.
2. Go to the HikDashcamapp’s Wi-Fi connection interface. Select the Wi-FiSSID, and login with the default password 1234567890.
