INSTRUCTIONS
HFB-BBB BLOWER ASSEMBLY
The HFB-BB blower is an option for certain fireboxes manufactured by Heatmaster, LLC/American Gas Log, LLC. Do not install a HFB-BB blower in any firebox unless the instructions provided with that firebox specify that is designed for HFB-BB blower. Usage of an improper blower could lead to personal injury or property damage. Check with your firebox dealer if you are unsure about usage of this blower in your firebox.
To properly install the HFB-BB blower, please follow directions below. Before the blower is installed, a JB1 Junction Box must be installed and wired according to the wiring diagram shown below.

BLOWER INSTALLATION
Remove the 2 screws from the receptacle cover plate on the lower right side of the firebox. Insert the supplied receptacle into the slot with the receptacle facing the inside of the firebox. Replace the cover plate leaving the Black, White & Green (ground) wires through the access hole in the cover plate for wiring.
Remove the fan cover plate from inside your firebox by removing screws as illustrated below. Once the fan cover plate is removed you will be able to access the 2 wires connected to the therm-O-Disc. Using 2 wire nuts connect the therm-O-Disc wires to the 2 receptacle wires and then tuck these wires out of the way of the blower.
Install the HFB-BB blower assembly by first plugging power cord into receptacle located to the right under the hearth pan. Using the same ten screws, secure blower cover plate to the hearth pan.
Blower operates thermostatically when the gas logs are in operation. NOTICE: Blower motor is permanently lubricated; it does not require oiling.
Remove ten screws from existing cover plate.
