1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered
areas invite injuries.
2. Observe work area conditions.
Keep work area well lighted.
3. Keep children away. Do not allow children in
the work area. Do not let them handle tools.
5. Use eye and hand protection. Wear ANSIapproved impact safety goggles and leather work
gloves when setting up and using this product.
6. Maintain tools. Keep tools clean for better and safer
performance. Follow instructions for lubricating and
changing accessories. The handle must be kept
clean, dry and free from oil and grease at all times.
4. Store idle equipment. When not in use,
store tools in a dry location to inhibit
rust. Store out of reach of children.

7. Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment
or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and
any other condition that may affect the power
tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power
tool repaired before use. Many accidents are
caused by poorly maintained power tools.

not operate any tool when tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
9. Replacement parts and accessories. When
servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
Use of any other parts will void the warranty. Only
use accessories intended for use with this tool.

duty gloves when handling the workpiece.
11. Attach the Metal Shrinker/Stretchers
to a stand or table before use.
12. Do not use a handle extension to increase force.

Jaws when using this tool.
