You will need the manual for the safety warnings and precautions, assembly instructions,
operating and maintenance procedures, parts list and diagram. Keep your invoice with this
manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front cover. Keep the manual and
invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference.
SAFETY WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: When using product basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to the product.
Keep work area clean. 1. Dark and cluttered areas invite injuries.
Keep children away. 2. Children must never be allowed in the work area during assem-
bly or installation. Do not let them climb on the Flag Pole. Install in area away from
children or animals.
Store idle equipment. 3. When not in use, the Flag Pole must be stored in a dry location
to inhibit corrosion. Always keep out of reach of children.
Use eye protection. 4. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles and heavy-
duty work gloves during the installation process.
Maintain products with care. 5. Keep the Flag Pole clean.
Stay alert. 6. Watch what you are doing, and use common sense when installing Flag Pole.
Do not install while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
Check for damaged parts. 7. Check for alignment and binding of moving parts; any
broken parts or mounting fixtures; and any other condition that may affect proper operation. Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced.
