1. Use only in dry locations. Keep Spotlight, Adaptor plug and socket dry at all times.
3. Do not submerge in water or any other liquid.
4. Do not operate the Spotlight in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Electrical products create sparks that may ignite the dust or fumes.
5. Do not expose the Spotlight to fire or high temperatures; the battery may explode.
6. Spotlight Lens may become very hot during operation. Allow unit to cool before attempting any cleaning or maintenance.
7. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.
8. Always disconnect the Adaptor before making any adjustments or storing the Spotlight.
9. People with pacemakers should consult their physician(s) before use. Electromagnetic fields in close proximity to heart pacemaker could cause pacemaker interference or pacemaker failure.
10. WARNING: Handling the cord on this product’s Adaptors will expose you to lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling. (California Health & Safety Code § 25249.5, et seq.)

Operating Instructions
Charging
The AC/DC Adaptor and 12V DC Cigarette
Lighter Adaptor are only intended for recharging
the battery – they cannot be used to directly
power the Spotlight. Do not turn the Spotlight on while charging or damage to the unit will result.
1. Insert the end of the Adaptor cord into the Charging Jack, located at the bottom of the Pistol Grip.
2. Plug the AC/DC Adaptor into a
120 VAC outlet or plug the Cigarette Lighter Adaptor into any 12 VDC outlet in an automobile, boat or RV.
General Operating Instructions
Note: Before using Spotlight for the
first time, fully charge the Battery.
1. Hold the Spotlight using the Pistol Grip.
2. Squeeze the Trigger. To lock the Spotlight on, slide the Lock Switch down while squeezing the Trigger, then release the Trigger and the Spotlight will stay on.
3. The Charge Light Indicator will light up Red during charging. After
approximately 4 – 6 hours the Charge
Light Indicator turns Green, indicating the Spotlight is fully charged and ready for use. Unplug the Adaptor.
NOTICE: Do not leave the Battery in a discharged state. Charge the Battery every 3 months if the Spotlight is not in use. This will keep the Battery from wearing down and add to its life. Do not charge the Spotlight for an extended period of time. Overcharging will cause overheating and shorten battery life or damage the unit. Do not charge the Spotli ght at temperatures below 40° F.
3. When finished using the Spotlight, release the Trigger or push the Lock Switch upward to turn the Spotlight off.
4. Store the Spotlight indoors away from children when not in use.

Limited 90 Day Warranty
Harbor Freight Tools Co. makes every effort to assure that its products meet high quality and durability standards, and warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 90 days from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, repairs or alterations outside our facilities, criminal activity, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection verifies the defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
