3. Safety Notes

The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
Do not use the product in the immedi ate vicinity of heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating, and only use it in adry environment.h
Do not continue to operate the device if it becomes visibly damaged. (This is mandatory for all products with 220 Vmains connections.)
Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the reach of children!
Children arenot permitted to play with the device. Children may not clean the product or perform user maintenance without supervision.
Do not use the product in areas wherethe use of electronic devices is not permitted.
Be considerate. Loud volumes can have adetrimental effect on your surroundings.
Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the specications.

4. Information and notes before initial startup

The following corefunctions areavailable:
Playback of records at 33 and 45 revolutions per minute
Digitisation of records via the integrated USB interface or
the SD cardslot
Playback of audio les from SD memory cards or USB storage media (FAT/FAT32)
Reception of radio transmissions (VHF/FM)
Note –Location
Place the product on alevel, vibration-free surface.
Operate the product only in alevel orientation.
Keep the product away from strong magnetic elds.
Do not place any objects on the device and never use it
for keeping things on.
Lay all cables so that they do not pose atripping hazard.
Do not bend or crush the cable.

4.1 Fitting the belt and turntable

Place the included turntable (3) on the turntable axis.
Turn the turntable until the opening is over the drive

Use the fastening tab to pull the drive belt on the underside of the turntable over the drive rollerofthe motor.

4.4 Tone arm clip for safe transportation

Note
The tone arm is secured for transport with aclip.
Remove the clip beforeuse.
Securethe tone arm beforemoving the device to
protect it from damage.

4.2 Turntable mat

Place the included turntable mat in the centreofthe turntable.

4.3 Removing the protective cap from the stylus

Note
The protective cap protects the stylus from dust and other soiling.
Beforestarting playback or recording, remove the protective cap from the stylus.
When nished using the recordplayer,replace the protective cap on the stylus.
Do not touch the stylus with your hands. Doing so may cause damage.
Pull the protective cap off of the stylus (A) of the tone arm (B) by pulling it forward.
Removing the transport safety
Remove the clip from the tone arm. It is located directly at the tone arm rest (6).
Now the tone arm (7) can be removed from the tone arm rest.
Attaching the transport safety
Place the tone arm (7) on the tone arm rest (6).
Attach the clip to the tone arm.

4.5 Adjusting the tone arm (zero balancing)

The tone arm must always be balanced. It should move horizontally over the turntable only.Adjust the tone arm to correct any tipping forwards or backwards.
Remove the protective cap as described in section 4.3 Removing the protective cap from the stylus.
Remove the tone arm (7) from the tone arm rest (6).
Turn the counterweight (4) clockwise or anticlockwise to
move it until the tone arm (7) is level over the turntable.
Set the tone arm (7) back on the tone arm rest (6).

4.6 Adjusting the pressure on the stylus

Note
The ideal pressureonthe stylus for the included pickup system is 3.5 grams.
The balancing ring moves together with the counterweight when it is turned. Thus you should check the stylus pressurebeforeeach use.
Remove the protective cap as described in section 4.3 Removing the protective cap from the stylus.
Remove the tone arm (7) from the tone arm rest (6).
Turn the counterweight clockwise to increase the stylus
pressureoranticlockwise to decrease it.
Set the tone arm (7) back on the tone arm rest (6).

4.7 Attaching the 45 rpm adapter

Note
The 45 rpm adapter is used for playback of 45 rpm singles without centring stars.
When not in use, the adapter can be placed on the holder (1).
To use the adapter,place it in the middle of the turntable on the turntable axis.

4.8 Connecting active speakers

Note
To get the best sound, connect active speakers.
Speakers and stereo cables arenot included.
Ensurethat the recordplayer has been correctly set up
as described in sections 4.1 to 4.7.
Connect compatible speakers to the left and right stereo RCAoutputs (23) of the recordplayer using astereo cable.

4.9 Attaching the hood

Note
The hood protects the recordplayer from dust and dirt.
Close the hood when the recordplayer is not in use.
Swivel the hinge backwards until it clicks into place.
Set the hinge onto the two matching mounts until it
audibly clicks into place.

5. Operation

5.1 Connecting and starting up

Warning
Only connect the product to asocket that has been approved for the device. The electrical socket must always be easily accessible.
Disconnect the product from the power supply using the on/off switch –ifthis is not available, unplug the power cordfromthe socket.
When using amulti-socket power strip, make surethat the sum power draw of all the connected devices does not exceed its maximum throughput rating.
If you will not be using the product for along period of time, disconnect it from mains power.
Connect the power supply unit to the power input (24) on the back of the recordplayer.
Connect the power cable to aproperly installed and easily accessible power socket. The power supply unit is suitable for mains voltages between 100 and 240 V, and is thus operable on almost any AC power grid. Please note that a country-specicadapter may be necessary.You can nd a selection of compatible products at www.hama.com.

5.2 Switching on/off

Press [POWER](21) to switch the recordplayer on or off.
5.3 Audio playback (Record)
Note –Auto return
The recordplayer automatically recognises the end of the record.
At the end of playback, the tone arm automatically returns to the tone arm rest and the turntable stops.
Switch on the recordplayer as described in section 5.2 Switching on/off.
Press [MODE] (17) repeatedly until the display shows “PH”. The device is now in playback mode.
If necessary,place the 45 rpm adapter on the turntable as described in section 4.7 Attaching the 45 rpm adapter.
Place arecord on the turntable.
Select the correct rotation speed using the rotation speed
control [33 SPEED/45 SPEED](8).
Remove the clip from the tone arm.
Push the tone arm up (7).
Move the tone arm to the desired place on the record.
The turntable starts turning automatically.

5.3.1 Stopping playback

Push the tone arm lift (5) up to lift the tone arm (7).
Playback is interrupted.

5.3.2 Adjusting the speed (pitch control)

Move the control slider (9) up to increase the speed of the recordordown to decrease it.
Position the control slider (9) in the centreofthe scale to set it back to the original speed.

6. FM

Enable FM (FM Radio) operating mode on the record player by repeatedly pressing [MODE].
6.1 Automatic station search /saving favourites
Press [FM Search/Play/Pause](14) until the automatic station search starts.
The recordplayer stops the search when it nds a station, and automatically stores the station as a favourite.
Press [FM Search/Play/Pause](14) again to continue the search.
6.2 Selecting favourites
Available stations that werefound during an automatic search arestored directly as favourites.
Youcan switch between the favourites by pressing the [Back/Rewind](15) or [Forward/Fast Forward](16) button.

7. Bluetooth

Youcan pair your terminal device with the recordplayer via Bluetooth and use the recordplayer as aplayback device. Youcan control playback directly on the terminal device.
Note –Bluetooth
Check whether your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) is Bluetooth-capable.
Note that the maximum range for Bluetooth is 10 metres without obstacles such as walls, people, etc.
The Bluetooth connection may be disrupted by other Bluetooth devices/connections in the vicinity.
It is only possible to connect the recordplayer to one terminal device.
Note that compatibility depends on the supported Bluetooth proles as wellasthe Bluetooth versions being used. (See technical specications, operating instructions of the terminal device in use)
Enable Bluetooth operating mode on the recordplayer by repeatedly pressing [MODE].
7.1 Bluetooth pairing
Make surethat your Bluetooth-capable terminal device is on and Bluetooth is activated.
Open the Bluetooth settings on your terminal device and wait until HAMA TT3000RBT appears in the list of Bluetooth devices found.
If necessary,start searching for Bluetooth devices on your terminal device.
Select HAMA TT3000RBT and wait until the record player is listed as connected in the Bluetooth settings on your terminal device.
BT’isconstantly lit in the display (10) after the connection has been successfully established.
Start and control audio playback using the controls of the terminal device.
Note –Bluetooth Password
Some terminal devices requireapasswordinorder to connect to another Bluetooth device.
If your terminal device requests apasswordfor connection to the recordplayer,enter 0000.

7.2 Automatic Bluetooth connection (after successful pairing)
Terminal devices already paired with the recordplayer are automatically saved on the recordplayer.
If your terminal device is being paired with the record player for the rst time, proceed as described under 7.1
Bluetooth pairing.
Make surethat your Bluetooth-capable terminal device is on and Bluetooth is activated.
The devices will be automatically connected. If necessary, open the Bluetooth settings on your terminal device and select HAMA TT3000RBT.
Start and control audio playback using the controls of the terminal device.
Note –Connection impaired
After the recordplayer and terminal device have been paired, aconnection is established automatically. If the Bluetooth connection is not established automatically,check the following:
Check the Bluetooth settings of your terminal device to see whether HAMA TT3000RBT is connected. If not, repeat the steps listed under ‘Bluetooth pairing’.
Check whether your terminal device and the record player areless than 10 metres apart. If not, move them closer together.
Check whether obstacles areimpairing the range. If so, move the devices closer together.

8. Auxiliary Input

Youcan use the analogue audio input (AUX IN socket) to connect mobile devices (for example, smartphone, tablet PC, MP3 player,etc.) to the recordplayer and play your audio les using the recordplayer.
Enable Auxiliary Input (Aux) operating mode by repeatedly pressing [MODE].
AUX’isconstantly lit in the display (10) after the connection has been successfully established.
Connect your mobile device to the audio input (AUX IN socket) of the recordplayer using a3.5-mm audio cable (jack cable).
Start and control audio playback using the controls on the connected terminal device.

9. Digitising records

Note –Storage medium
The storage medium must be formatted using the FAT32 le system.
The recording is saved on the storage medium as an mp3 le with abit rate of 128kB/s.
Always connect only one storage medium for saving the recording. It is recognised by the device automatically.
Do not use aUSB cable to connect USB volumes to the USB interface. The USB port is intended only for directly connecting USB storage devices.
Switch on the recordplayer as described in section 5.2 Switching on/off.
Press [MODE](17) repeatedly until the display shows “PH”. The device is now in playback mode.
Place arecord on the turntable.
If necessary,place the 45 rpm adapter on the turntable
as described in section 4.7 Attaching the 45 rpm adapter.
Select the correct rotation speed using the rotation speed control [33 SPEED/45 SPEED](8).
Insert an USB stick into the recordplayer’sUSB port (18).
Alternatively,insert an SD/MMC cardinto the record
player’sSDcardslot (19).
Wait until the recordplayer has recognised the storage medium. “LOD” appears on the display.
Press [REC](11) to start the recording.
Move the tone arm to the desired place on the record.
The turntable starts turning automatically.
During the record, [USB/SD]appears on the display.
](13) to stop recording.
Press [
After the recording is stopped, playback of the stored
audio le begins automatically.

10. Audio playback from astorage medium

Note –Storage medium

The recordplayer automatically begins playback of the audio les.
11. Replacing the stylus
The stylus is subject to natural wear due to the playback process, and must be replaced if necessary.
Note
Aworn or defective (chipped) stylus can damage your records.
Use only type AT-3600L styli.
Disconnect the product from the mains using the [Power]
button (21) beforeyou begin replacing the stylus.
Remove the protective cap as described in section 4.3 Removing the protective cap from the stylus.
Remove the stylus by pulling it downwards and then forwards as shown in the diagram.
Insert the new stylus by proceeding in reverse order.

12. Care and Maintenance

Only clean this product with aslightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
If you do not use the product for along time, turn off the device and disconnect it from the power supply. Storeitinaclean, dry place out of direct sunlight.
