3. Safety Notes

• This product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.

• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating, and only use

it in dry locations.

• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.

• As with all electrical devices, this device should be kept out of the

reach of children.

• Only connect the product to the specied voltage.

• Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the

specications.

• Connect the product only to a socket that has been approved for the
device. The electrical socket must always be easily accessible.

• Disconnect the product from the network using the power button – if
this is not available, unplug the power cord from the socket.

• Always pull directly on the plug when disconnecting the cable, never
on the cable itself.

• Lay all cables so that they do not pose a tripping hazard.

• Do not bend or crush the cable.

• Do not use the product if the adapter, connection cable or power

cable is damaged.

• Keep children away from the packaging material as there is a risk of
suocation.

• Do not modify the device in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.

4. Operation

Warning

• Ensure that your ultrabook/notebook requires a supply voltage of
19 volts (+/- 1 V); otherwise your device may be damaged.

• The specied supply voltage can be found on the original power
supply unit or in the user manual of your notebook/ultrabook. If
you cannot nd the specication, do not connect your ultrabook/
notebook and contact the manufacturer.

• Ensure that the total power consumption of the ultrabook/
notebook does not exceed the power supply unit’s rated output
capacity of 90 W.

• The adaptor plugs included with the power supply unit cover most
common ultrabooks/notebooks from major manufacturers.

• Please select the correct adapter using the plug on the original power
supply unit.

• Test the selected adapter in the socket of the ultrabook/notebook
while the ultrabook/notebook is switched o and the power supply
unit is NOT connected. The plug should slide into the socket easily
and t securely without too much play.

• Connect the correct adapter to the DC connection line of the power
supply unit. This connection is protected against polarity reversal; i.e.,
the adapter ts easily onto the connection cable in one position only.

• First connect the power supply unit to the ultrabook/notebook. Then
plug the electrical plug of the power supply cord into the electrical
socket.

• Do not use force under any circumstances. This may damage the
power socket of the ultrabook/notebook or the adapter.

Warning

• Never attempt to forcibly connect the adapter plug in the wrong
position, as this can lead to the polarity being reversed.

• If the polarity is reversed, the ultrabook/notebook may be
damaged.

Note

The USB port on the power supply unit can be used to charge or
operate USB devices such as tablet PCs, smartphones, MP3 players,
navigation devices, etc. The maximum output current of the USB
port is 2100 mA.

5. Care and Maintenance

• Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not
use aggressive cleaning agents.

• Make sure that water does not get into the product.

Nehmen Sie sich Zeit und lesen Sie die folgenden Anweisungen
und Hinweise zunächst ganz durch. Bewahren Sie diese
Bedienungsanleitung anschließend an einem sicheren Ort auf, um bei
Bedarf darin nachschlagen zu können. Sollten Sie das Gerät veräußern,
geben Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung an den neuen Eigentümer weiter.

3. Sicherheitshinweise

• Das Produkt ist für den privaten, nicht-gewerblichen
Haushaltsgebrauch vorgesehen.

• Lassen Sie das Produkt nicht fallen und setzen Sie es keinen heftigen
Erschütterungen aus.

• Dieses Gerät gehört, wie alle elektrischen Geräte, nicht in
Kinderhände!

• Schließen Sie das Produkt nur an die angegebene Spannung an.

• BetreibenSie das Produkt nicht außerhalb seiner in den technischen

Daten angegebenen Leistungsgrenzen.

• BetreibenSie das Produkt nur an einer dafür zugelassenen Steckdose.
Die Netzsteckdose muss jederzeit leicht erreichbar sein.

• Trennen Sie das Produkt mittels des Ein-/Ausschalters vom Netz –
wenn dieser nicht vorhanden ist, ziehen Sie die Netzleitung aus der
Steckdose.

• Ziehen Sie zum Entfernen des Kabels direkt am Stecker und niemals
am Kabel.

• Verlegen Sie alle Kabel so, dass sie keine Stolpergefahr darstellen.

• Knicken und quetschen Sie das Kabel nicht.

• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht, wenn der Adapter, das

Anschlusskabel oder die Netzleitung beschädigt sind.

• Halten Sie Kinder unbedingt von dem Verpackungsmaterial fern, es
besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

• Nehmen Sie keine Veränderungen am Gerät vor.
Dadurch verlieren sie jegliche Gewährleistungs-ansprüche.

4. Betrieb

Warnung

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Ultrabook/Notebook eine
Versorgungsspannung von 19 Volt (+/- 1V) benötigt, Ihr Gerät
kann sonst beschädigt werden.

• Die Angabe der Versorgungsspannung nden Sie auf dem
Original-Netzteil oder im Benutzerhandbuch zu Ihrem Ultrabook/
Notebook. Ansonsten schließen Sie das Netzteil nicht an Ihr
Ultrabook/Notebook an und wenden Sie sich an dessen Hersteller.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Gesamtleistungsaufnahme des
Ultrabooks/Notebooks nicht die Nennausgangsleistung des
Netzteils von 90 W überschreitet.

• Die dem Netzteil beiliegenden Adapterstecker decken die meisten
gängigen Ultrabooks/Notebooks bekannter Hersteller ab.

• Wählen Sie anhand des Steckers am Originalnetzteil den richtigen
Adapter aus.

• Testen Sie den ausgewählten Adapter bei ausgeschaltetem
Ultrabook/Notebook und NICHT angeschlossenem Netzteil an der
Buchse des Ultrabooks/Notebooks. Der Stecker muss leicht in die
Buchse gleiten und darf aber auch nicht zu viel Spiel aufweisen.

• Verbinden Sie den richtigen Adapter mit der DC-Anschlussleitung
des Netzteils. Dieser Anschluss ist verpolungssicher ausgeführt;
d.h. der Adapter passt nur in einer Stellung leichtgängig auf das
Anschlusskabel.

• Verbinden Sie zuerst das Netzteil mit dem Ultrabook/Notebook.
Stecken Sie erst dann den Netzstecker des Netzkabels in die
Steckdose.

• Wenden Sie auf keinen Fall Gewalt an, da ansonsten die Netzbuchse

des Ultrabooks/Notebooks und/oder der Adapter beschädigt werden
können.

Warnung

• Versuchen sie niemals den Adapterstecker mit großer Kraft in
falscher Stellung aufzubringen, evtl. ist dann die Polungsrichtung
vertauscht!

• Bei falscher Polarität besteht die Gefahr, das Ultrabook/Notebook
zu beschädigen!

Hinweis

Sie haben die Möglichkeit, an der USB-Buchse des Netzteils USB­Geräte zu laden oder zu betreiben, z.b. Tablet-PC, Smartphone,
MP3-Spieler, Navigationsgeräte etc. Der Maximale Ausgangsstrom
der USB-Buchse beträgt 2100 mA.

5. Wartung und Pflege

• Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem fusselfreien, trockenen
Tuch und verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Reiniger.

• Achten sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in das Produkt eindringt.

3. Indicazioni di sicurezza

• Il prodotto è concepito per l’uso domestico privato, non commerciale.

• Proteggere il prodottoda sporcizia, umidità e surriscaldamento e

utilizzarlo solo in locali asciutti.

• Non fare cadere il prodotto e non sottoporlo a forti scossoni!

• Tenere questo apparecchio, come tutte le apparecchiature elettriche,

fuori dalla portata dei bambini!

• Collegare il prodotto solo con la tensione elettrica indicata.

• Non mettere in esercizio il prodotto al di fuori dei suoi limiti di

rendimento indicati nei dati tecnici.

• Collegare il prodotto solo a una presa di rete appositamente
omologata. La presa di rete deve poter essere raggiungibile in
qualsiasi momento.

• Scollegare il prodotto dalla rete mediante l‘interruttore on/o; se
questo non è presente, estrarre il cavo di rete dalla presa.

• Per rimuovere il cavo tirare direttamente e solo la spina e non il cavo.

• Disporre tutti i cavi in modo da non inciamparsi.

• Non piegare, né schiacciare il cavo.

• Non utilizzare il prodotto se l‘adattatore, il cavo di collegamento

oppure la linea di rete sono danneggiati.

• Tenere l’imballo fuori dalla portata dei bambini, pericolo di
soocamento!

• Non apportare modiche all’apparecchio per evitare di perdere i diritti
di garanzia.

4. Funzionamento

Aviso

• Assicurarsi che il proprio ultrabook/notebook funzioni con
una tensione di alimentazione di 19 Volt (+/- 1V), altrimenti
l’apparecchio può venire danneggiato.

• Normalmente, l’indicazione del valore corretto della tensione di
alimentazione è riportato sull‘alimentatore originale oppure nel
manuale per l‘utente del ultrabook/notebook. In caso contrario
non collegare l‘alimentatore al ultrabook/notebook e rivolgersi al
suo produttore.

• Assicurarsi, che l‘assorbimento di potenza totale dell’ultrabook/
notebook non superi mai la potenza in uscita nominale di 90 W
dell‘alimentatore.

• I connettori di adattamento acclusi all’alimentatore sono sucienti
per le più diuse marche di ultrabook/notebook.

• Scegliere in modo sicuro il corretto adattatore in base al connettore
dell‘alimentatore originale.

• Eseguire eventualmente un test dell’adattatore scelto nella presa
del ultrabook/notebook con il ultrabook/notebook spento e con
l‘alimentatore NON inserito nella rete. Il connettore deve entrare
facilmente nella presa, tuttavia, non deve presentare troppo gioco.

• Collegare il corretto adattatore con il cavo di allacciamento DC
dell’alimentatore. Questa connessione è eseguita con la protezione
contro l’inversione di polarità, questo signica che l’adattatore
può essere inserito facilmente solo in una posizione del cavo di
allacciamento.

• Collegare prima l’alimentatore con il ultrabook. Inserire per ultima la
spina elettrica del cavo di rete nella presa di corrente.

• Non applicare una forza eccessiva, altrimenti le prese di rete

dell’ultrabook/notebook o dell‘adattatore possono venire
danneggiate.

Aviso

• Non provare mai ad inserire con forza il connettore dell’adattatore
nella posizione sbagliata, altrimenti si rischia evntl. di invertire
la polarità.

• In caso di polarità sbagliata sussiste il pericolo di danneggiare il
ultrabook!

Nota

È inoltre possibile caricare oppure far funzionare con la presa USB
altri apparecchi, che possono essere alimentati tramite USB, quali, ad
es., tablet PC, Smartphone, lettori MP3, sistemi di navigazione, etc.
La massima corrente di uscita della presa USB è pari a 2100 mA.

5. Cura e manutenzione

• Tasto ON/TARE: dopo aver premuto brevemente questo tasto,
l‘apparecchio si accende. Se si tiene premuto il tasto, l‘apparecchio si
spegne nuovamente.
