those indic ated, the remote exits

programming.
1 ) Ch ec k the c ode list for your

model to g et the correct code
number to use.

2) Fi nd the SETUP key and the
'41K' key, pres s them both at

the same time keep both keys
pressed f o r about 3 seconds

and the LED will blink off and
on, then release the two keys

and the LED should stay on.

3) E n t e r y o u r 3 di g i t c o de
number, t he L E D w ill bl i nk

twice and th en stay on i f your
code n u m b e r wa s i np ut

successfully,

4) P res s the OK key, th e codes
will be stored i n th e remote's

memory an d t h e remote i s

no w r e a d y f o r n o rm a l
operation.

NOTE: I f a n i nc orre c t i n p u t
number is entered, the LE D will
blink off and on for 3 seconds and

then remain on. Repeat steps 3 4
with the correct code.

1) Fin d the SETUP key and the
Elg' key, press them both at the

pressed for abo ut 3 seconds

and the LED will bli nk off and
on, then release the two keys

and the LED should stay on.

press the digit key s 9, 8 , 0 in
order. LED should now turn off.

4) P res s the #2 key to determine
the second digit o f your code,

digit o f the code numb er... 1

proceed to step 3.

5 ) Pres s the #3 key to determine

the third digit of your code, the

LED will blink the

corres ponding n u m be r o f
times to indicate the third digit

process is complete.

LEARNING MODE (applicati on
range key F1-F4)

NOTE: I f more than 30 seconds
elapse between key presses , th e

remote will exit programming.

1) P l a c e the Ha ier Universal
Remote Control head to head

(about 3 cm) from your original
remote control. Also locate the

key (o n y our original rem ot e
control) that y ou w a n t th e
learning remote to record.

2) Press the SETUP key and the
OK k ey , k ee p b ot h k ey s
pressed for about 3 seconds,

the LED will turn off once and
then on aga in, Releas e th e

two keys and the LED shoul d
stay on.

3) Select one of the learning keys
(F1 thru F4 ) o n you r Haier

Universal Rem ot e Co n t ro l
which y ou wi s h t o s to re a

learned c od e on and pres s
that button.

4) On th e original remote, press
and hold the key to be learned

for a bo ut 2 seconds , T h e
LED o n H a i e r Un i v ers al

Remote Control wi ll blink off
and on twice and then slay on.

NOTE: I f the LED blinks off and
on for about 3 seconds or longer,

a l earning error has occurred.

5) Repeat steps 2 throu gh 4 f or
another key.

6) Press SETUP to ex it Learning
Mode.
