Zweckbestimmung

Das LED Beleuchtungsset LI 900® ist ausschliesslich für Haag-Streit Spaltlampen BQ 900®, BM 900® und BP 900® vorgesehen.

• Die Intensitäten der Spalt- und Umfeldbeleuchtung lassen sich stufenlos über den Beleuchtungsregler einstellen.

• Dieses Set darf nicht anderweitig eingesetzt werden. Spaltlampen werden hauptsächlich in Arztpraxen, Spitälern und Universitäten von Ophthalmologen, Optometristen und Optikern eingesetzt.

L'illumination LED LI 900® a été produites uniquement pour des microscopes de lampe à fente BQ 900®, BM 900® et BP 900®.

• L'intensité de l'éclairage de la fente et de l'environnement peuvent être ajusté de manière continue par le variateur d'éclairage.

Purpose on use

The LED illumination LI 900® have been designed exclusively for use of the slit lamps BQ 900®, BM 900® and BP 900®.

• Slit and background illumination are continuously variable controlled by a control panel.

• This set may not be used for other purposes. Slit lamps are usually used by Ophthalmologists, Optometrists or Opticians in their consulting rooms, clinics, hospitals or teaching facilities.

Installation

• Montez toujours la lampe à fente et l’appui-tête sur un pla teau de table électriquement isolé et résistant au feu.

Opération et environnement

•Seulunpersonnelqualiéetforméaledroitd'utilisercetin-

strument, la formation des opérateurs incombe au proprié taire.

• Utilisez seulement les accessoires Haag-Streit.

• Eteindre après chaque utilisation.

• N’utilisez jamais l’instrument dans des zones où il y a des gaz explosifs, des vapeurs combustibles (alcool, benzol)

• Evitez toute source d'humidité.

Installation électrique

• N'utilisez qu'un câble d'alimentation secteur à trois conducteurs homologué. Pour USA et Canada: Câble

d'alimentation électrique, selon UL, type SJE, SJT ou SJO, tripolaire, plus grand que 18 AWG.

•Touteslesches,lescâblesetlaprotectiondelaprise doivent être en parfait état.

Nettoyage

• Nettoyez le boîtier à l'aide d'un linge légèrement humide.

• N’utilisez aucun liquide ni de produits abrasifs.

Garantie / responsabilité de produit

• Cet instrument doit être manipulé conformément aux con signes énoncées au chapitre 'Sécurité'. Une utilisation non conforme à ces consignes est susceptible d’entraîner des dommages sur l’instrument. Ainsi le client perd tout béné-

 cedelagarantie.

• Si un produit endommagé par une utilisation non confor me continue à être utilisé, il est susceptible de causer des dommages aux personnes. Dans ce cas, le fabricant décli ne toute responsabilité.

Montage

• Instrument vor dem Auspacken einige Stunden in der Verpackung belassen (Kondensation).

• Spaltlampe und Kopfhalter müssen auf einer elektrisch isolierten und feuerfesten Tischplatte montiert sein.

Bedienung, Umgebung

•Bedienungnurdurchqualiziertesundgeschultes

Personal, dessen Ausbildung ist Aufgabe des Betreibers.

• Nur Haag-Streit Zubehör verwenden.

• Nach jedem Betrieb Instrument ausschalten.

• Instrument nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen

 benutzen,keineüchtigenLösungsmittel(Alkohol,Benzin

usw.) und brennbare Narkosemittel in der Nähe.

• Feuchtigkeit vermeiden.

Elektrisches

• Nur ein typengeprüftes 3-poliges Netzkabel verwenden.

Für USA und Kanada Netzkabelset, nach UL-Liste, Typ SJE, SJT oder SJO, 3-polig, nicht kleiner als 18 AWG.

• Stecker, Kabel und Schutzleiteranschluss der Steckdose müssen einwandfrei funktionieren.

Reinigung

• Gehäuse nur mit leicht angefeuchtetem Tuch reinigen.

• Keine Flüssigkeiten, keine ätzenden Mittel.

Garantie / Produktehaftpicht

• Das Produkt ist entsprechend dem Kapitel 'Sicherheit' zu behandeln. Unsachgemässe Behandlung kann zu Schä den am Produkt führen. Dadurch erlöschen sämtliche Ga rantieansprüche.

• Wird ein durch unsachgemässe Behandlung beschädigtes Produkt weiterhin eingesetzt, kann dies zu Personenschä den führen. Der Hersteller haftet in diesem Fall nicht.

• Instandsetzungen und Änderungen am Produkt dürfen nur von Haag-Streit Servicetechnikern oder von autorisierten Personen durchgeführt werden.

Installation

• To avoid condensation, allow the instrument to adjust to room temperature for several hours before unpacking.

• Always mount the slit lamp and the headrest on an electric

 insulatedandreresistanttabletop.

Operation and surrounding

•Onlyqualiedandtrainedpersonnelshouldoperatethe

equipment, the training is at the owner’s responsibility.

• Use only Haag-Streit accessories.

• Shut down after every use.

• Never operate the instrument in the same room with com-

 bustiblegases,volatilesolvents(alcohol,benzol)oram-

mable anesthetic agents.

• Avoid humidity.

Electrical

• Only a hospital grade 3-conductor electrical power supply cable must be used. For USA and Canada: Detachable

Power Supply Cord Set, UL Listed, type SJE, SJT or SJO, 3-conductor, not smaller than 18 AWG.

• Plug, cable and ground lead connection of the socket have to be in perfect condition.

Cleaning

• Clean the housing with a water dampened cloth only.

• No liquids or corrosive agents.

Warranty / product liability

• This instrument should be handled in accordance with the 'Safety' chapter. Improper handling may damage the in strument. Any resultant claim made under the guarantee will not be accepted.

• Continued use of an instrument that has been damaged by incorrect handling may lead to personal injury. The ma nufacturer cannot accept liability in this case.

• Repairs and alterations to this equipment should only be carried out by Haag-Streit service technicians or by autho rized persons.

To avoid the risk of an electric shock, these devices should only be connected to a supply network with an earth wire.

• Das Beleuchtungsset LI 900® wurde unter Berücksich tigung der Normen IEC / EN 60 601-1-2 und ISO 15004-2 konstruiert. Unter der Beachtung schweizerischer

 undinternationalerAuagenerfolgenFertigung,Prüfung,

Aufstellung, Wartung und Reparatur.

• Durch die CE-Kennzeichnung wird die Übereinstimmung des Beleuchtungssets LI 900® mit der Richtlinie 93/42/ EWG bestätigt.

• Das Beleuchtungsset darf nur für den Betrieb von An wendungsteilen des Typs B verwendet werden (Gerät das einen besonderen Schutz gegen elektrischen Schlag bietet, insbesondere in Bezug auf zuverlässigen Ab leitstrom und Zuverlässigkeit der Schutzleiterverbindung).

• Beim Kombinieren verschiedener medizinisch und/oder nichtmedizinisch elektrischer Geräte ist die Norm IEC/EN 60601-1 zu berücksichtigen.

• Eine Kopie der Konformitätserklärung zum vorliegenden Instrument kann jederzeit bei Haag-Streit angefordert wer den.

• Die gesetzlichen Unfallverhütungsvorschriften sind zu beachten.

EMV

Das Beleuchtungsset LI 900® erfüllt die Anforderungen der elektromagnetischen Verträglichkeit nach IEC / EN 606011-2. Das Gerät ist gebaut, dass die Erzeugung und Aussendung elektromagnetischer Störgrössen soweit begrenzt wird, dass andere Geräte in ihrem bestimmungsgemässen Betrieb nicht gestört werden und selber eine angemessene Störfestigkeit gegenüber elektromagnetischen Störgrössen aufweist. Siehe auch Anhang A.

Wartung

Das Beleuchtungsset LI 900® kann während der ganzen Lebensdauer wartungsfrei betrieben werden.

EMC

L'illumination LED LI 900® répond aux exigences de compatibilité électromagnétique selon IEC / EN 606011-2. L'appareil est conçu pour maintenir la génération et l'émission d'interférences électromagnétiques à un bas niveau qui n'affecte pas le fonctionnement normal d'autres éléments d'équipement. L'appareil est également conçu pour fournir un niveau convenable de résistance à des sources externes d'interférence électromagnétique. Voir également l'annexe A.

Entretien

Le set d'éclairage LI 900® peut être utilisé sans entretien pendant tout son cycle de vie.

Statutory requirements

• The LI 900® illumination set has been designed to con form with the IEC / EN 60 601-1-2 and ISO 15004-2 standards. Manufacturing procedures, testing, commissioning, main tenance and repair are conducted in compliance with Swiss and international regulations.

•The'CE'markconrmsthattheLI900® illumination set

complies with directive 93/42/EEC.

• The lighting set should only be used when operating type B application parts (device offering special protection against electric shock, especially with regard to reliable discharge current and reliability of the ground wire connection).

• When combining different medical and/or non medical electrical equipment standard IEC/EN 60601-1 applies.

• A copy of the declaration of conformity for the present in strument may be requested at any time from Haag-Streit.

• All statutory accident prevention regulations are to be observed.

EMC

The LI 900® illumination set meets the electromagnetic compatibility requirements of IEC / EN 60601-1-2. The appliance is designed to keep the generation and emission of electromagnetic interferences to a level that does not affect the normal operation of other items of equipment. The appliance is likewise designed to provide a certain level of resistance to outside sources of electromagnetic interference. Also see Appendix A.

Maintenance

The LI 900® illumination set can be operated without maintenance throughout its lifetime.

Umwelt

• Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte müssen getrennt vom Hausabfall entsorgt werden! Dieses Gerät wurde nach dem 13.08.2005 in den Handel gebracht.

• Entsorgung über die lokale Sammelstelle oder über Ihren Haag-Streit Vertreter.

• Damit ist gewährleistet, dass keine schädli chen Stoffe in die Umwelt gelangen und wertvolle Rohstoffe wieder Verwendung

 nden.

2 Gerätebeschreibung

Das Gerätenetzteil PS-LED kann nur zusammen mit einem Beleuchtungsregler und einer LED Beleuchtung LI 01 verwendet werden.

2.1 Funktionen

Standby Betrieb

•BendetsichderDrehknopfdesBeleuchtungsreglers

IC 01 auf ’0’, so ist die Lichtquelle ausgeschaltet (19).

• Nach 5 Minuten Betriebszeit werden die Lichtquellen auto matisch ausgeschalten und die Ansteuerung verweilt in einem Energiesparmodus. Durch eine leichte Erschütte rung am Kreuzschlitten oder durch leichtes Verstellen der Helligkeit am Beleuchtungsregler lassen sich die Lichtquel len wieder einschalten.

Normaler Betrieb

Reduzierter Betrieb

Um eine lange Lebensdauer der Lichtquellen gewährleisten zu können, wird nach Erreichen der maximalen Betriebstemperatur die Leistung der Umfeldbeleuchtung etwas reduziert. Nach ein paar Minuten kann wieder die volle Leistung genutzt werden. Dieser Betriebszustand wird nur erreicht, wenn beide Lichtquellen zusammen über längere Zeit eingeschalten bleiben.

Opération réduite

Andepermettreunelongueduréedeviedessourcesde

lumière, la puissance d'éclairage d'ambiance sera légèrement réduite une fois que la température de fonctionnement maximale a été atteinte. La pleine puissance peut être utilisé de nouveau après quelques minutes. Cet état de fonctionnement ne se pose que lorsque les deux sources de lumière sont restés allumés en même temps pour un laps de temps considérable.

2 Device description

The PS-LED power supply can only be used in combination with an illumination controller and an LI 01 type LED light.

2.1 Functions

Standby mode

• If the rotary button on the IC 01 illumination control is set to ’0’, the light source will be switched off (19).

• After running for one minute, light sources will switch off automatically and the controller will idle in energy saving mode. Any slight movement of the cross-slide or adjust ment of brightness on the illumination control will cause the light sources to switch on again.

Normal operation

• The rotary button on the illumination control is set to a position between ’1’ and ’10’. The light source is switched on.
