INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Structure and dimensions
• The gas water heater cannot be installed in bedroom, basement, bathroom or
any other place with poor ventilation. To assure enough fresh air, an air inlet
with an area of at least 300 cm2 should be installed in the room in which gas
water heater is installed. Room for installation shall be above 6 m2.
• The installation height of gas water heater is around 1,6m from the floor.
• Electric equipment or lines are not allowed to be placed on top of the gas
water heater. The horizontal distance between the gas water heater and
electric equipment should be more than 400 mm.
• Distance between the gas water heater and any flammable materials should
be 150 mm at least.
• In order to allow easy access to the appliance for maintenance operations
please leave a space of at least 600 mm in front of the gas water heater.
• The gas water heater should not be installed outdoor or in any places with
strong wind.
• In case that the appliance is to be installed on wall or holder made from a
flammable materials, metal heat-preventing plate in 100 mm more in size than
gas water heater must be used. Distance between metal plate and wall
(holder) must be at least 10 mm.
• Install gas water heater in vertical position.
• Do not install gas water heater in room, where appliance is subjected to
freezing.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Installation method
1. Installation of main body
Drill holes in the wall according to the dimensions of the gas water heater and fix
the M6 expansion bolts. Hang up the hanging bracket slot of the gas water heater
on the expansion bolt. Fix the gas water heater by screwing the nuts. Fix the
lower hanging brackets with two plastic expansion bolts.
2. Installation of water pipes
• The size of cold and hot water connector is G1/2.
• Before connecting up the appliance it is necessary to thoroughly flush and
purge the water and gas pipes in order to remove filings or other waste from
them.
• For the convenience of maintenance please install the water inlet valve near
the appliance.
• Connect the cold water and hot water pipes in correct order. Markings are
located on the bottom of the gas water heater near the connectors.
• Purge air from water pipes by opening all the taps, hot and cold. Then turn off
the taps and check for water tightness.
Important!!
The maximum inlet water pressure must be limited to 10 bar. If the water
supply is more than 10 bar or subject to pressure fluctuations above 10
bar, a pressure limiting valve must be installed to limit the pressure to 10
bar maximum.
Minimum water pressure is 0,2 bar.
Warning!!
Water with a temperature higher than 50°C can cause serious burns.
Always verify water temperature before use.

3. Installation of gas pipe
• The size gas connector is G1/2 or G3/4, depends on the model.
• The pipeline system should reach minimum rated gas pressure value for
the heater to perform the rated thermal load.
• Before connecting up the appliance it is necessary to thoroughly flush and
purge the water and gas pipes in order to remove filings or other waste
from them.
• Connect the gas transferring pipe to the relevant gas inlet nozzle and apply
clamp to tighten the hose. When pipeline gas is adopted, gas company
should apply corresponding hose where meter with flow value more than 3
m3/h is recommended.
• Purge air from the gas supply pipes.
• Test gas circuit for tightness in accordance with current regulation.
Use appliance only with type of gas, stated on the marking plate!
The maximum inlet gas (G20) pressure must be limited to 18 mbar.
Minimum gas (G20) pressure must be higher than 10 mbar.
For Ukraine and Russian market 13 mbar nozzles are installed.
4. Installation of exhaust flue pipe
The gas water heater should be equipped with an exhaust pipe or a chimney.
Please pay attention to the specific regulations for installation required by the
local country.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Commissioning
Once the gas water heater installation has been completed, it is necessary to
commission the appliance as follows:
1. Gas supply installation:
Inspect the entire installation including the meter, test for tightness and purge
in accordance with current regulation.
2. Water supply installation:
Inspect the water pipe installation for water tightness.
3. Make sure that type of gas complies with the type of gas stated on the rating
label.
4. Open the air inlet in the room.
5. Check if the exhaust flue pipe is correctly installed.
Lighting the appliance for the first time:
1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the gas water heater and put
two batteries in (2 x type D battery). Insert batteries correctly.
2. Ensure that the gas inlet valve and cold water inlet valve below the appliance
are open.
3. Open the hot water tap and ensure that air is purged from the appliance and
the pipes.
4. Turn on the on / off switch.
5. Turn the gas regulating knob to its maximum position.
6. Turn on a hot water tap.
The appliance will attempt to ignite, should this fail due to air in the gas pipe.
Several ignition attempts may be required to light the gas for the first time. If a
problem comes up after normal operation, turn off the water immediately. Retry 10-20 seconds later to avoid ‘pop’ burning.
Do not touch the housing of the gas water heater during operation. During
operation only setting knobs can be touched.
Risk of scalding.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Repair and maintenance
Note:
All the repair and maintenance must be carried out by authorized technicians. The
maintenance of the water heater must be fulfilled at least once a year. It is
recommended to carry out the maintenance after a period of heating operation. The
maintenance and repair must be kept in record. Before cleaning or maintenance and
repair, please take off battery from the water heater and turn down the gas valve.
Only the original spare parts for maintenance can be used.
If the spare parts used for maintenance are not original, the manufacturer does not
assume any quality guarantee. The connecting pieces must be new.
To ensure safe and effective operation, the appliance must be serviced
once a year by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
1. Daily maintenance done by the end user:
• Check the gas pipe regularly for leakage or any defect. If in doubt contact service
center.
• Clean water filter on cold water inlet regularly.
• Check water leakage regularly.
• When flame turns from blue to yellow with black smoke, close the gas valve and
call service center immediately for help.
• Check the exhaust flue pipe frequently to avoid the jam. If the exhaust gas cannot
go outside it can lead to CO poisoning.
• Check the ventilation.
• Check the appearance of the appliance.
• Check if any strange sound occurs during usage.
• When you plan not to use the appliance for a longer period of time, close the gas
and water valves and remove the batteries from battery compartment.
2. Anti-freeze protection
Should the appliance be installed where pipes are subjected to freezing, it is
recommended to empty it.
Proceed as indicated below:
• Turn the outer electrical switch to the OFF position.
• Close the gas valve.
• Close the cold water inlet valve.
• Open the DHW taps until both the appliance and pipes are completely
emptied.
• Screw off the drain valve on water inlet connector.
To resume operation, tighten the drain valve, open the cold water inlet isolation valve
together with DHW taps until water flows steadily from all taps.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
3. Cleaning the housing of a gas water heater
Warning!
A cloth dampened with cold water may be used on the indoor unit if it is very
dirty. Then wipe it with a dry cloth.
Do not use a chemically treated cloth or duster to clean the unit.
Do not use gasoline, thinner, polishing powder, or similar solvents for
cleaning. These may cause the plastic surface to crack or deform.
Never use water hotter than 40°C to clean the front panel, it could cause
deformation of discoloration.
