Safety Information and Notice
Important Safety Precautions
• Keep away from water or moisture and dusty areas.
• Ambient Temperature 0~40°C. Never store in hot and very cold areas.
• Care must be taken not to drop the unit.
• Do not try to open the case alone without technical support.
• Connect the AC adapter to the DC IN jack and to power outlet.
• Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
• When left unused for a long period of time, the unit should be unplugged from the household AC outlet.
Warning: To reduce the risk
of re or electric shock, do not expose to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing.
Compatibility
This device supports iPod 4th/5th generation iPods including the special edition U2 and HP iPods, the iPod mini 1st/2nd and iPod nano 1st/2nd. This device doesn’t support the latest iPod series including the iPod classic, iPod Touch and iPod nano 3
This device supports the following le formats: JPEG, MP3 and MPEG4(*.avi). Please note that not all images, audio and MPEG4 formats are compatible with this device. If playing other formats, please convert the les to a supported format on your computer.

Remote control opera­tion range
Point the remote control unit no more than 6 meters from the remote control sensor and within 60° of the front of the unit. The operating distance may vary according to the brightness of the room.

Battery installation for the remote control
Insert the battery and match the (+) and (-) on battery to the marks inside the battery compartment. Remember to remove the plastic insulating strip from the battery before rst use.
Note:
• The battery in the Remote Control
normally lasts for about one year, although this depends on how often and for what operations the Remote Control is used.
• If the remote control unit fails to
work even when it is operated near the player, replace the battery.
• Use a 3V lithium battery
(No. CR2025 or equivalent).

Connecting the power
• Plug the power adapter into an outlet.
• Use only with the speci ed power adapter (12Vdc, 1.66A).
Inputting external media source
• This device can only play one media you input at a time. If more than one input source is connected, press (remote control) or (device) button to select which source you want to play.
• This device can only play JPEG, MP3 and MPEG 4*.avi formats. Not all images, audio and MPEG4 format  les are compatible with this device. If the  les cannot be played in this device, please convert these  les to readable formats using your computer.

Inserting a memory card
• Insert your memory card into the appropriate slot according to the orientation marked on the machine.
Inserting a USB device
• Insert an USB memory stick into the USB port.
Note: this port can not connect to PC directly.

Inserting iPod
• Insert an iPod into the iPod dock connector. Please select the supplied iPod dock according to your iPod model, then  t it onto the device's iPod connector before connecting iPod.
• Before inserting your iPod into the iPod dock, please refer to the table below to select an adaptor. Each adaptor is labelled with a number as shown in the table.

Note: The iPod will be automatically charged when connected to the power socket whether the power is ON or OFF.

• Connect the earphone jack to earphones with 3.5mm audio cable.
CAUTION: To avoid possible damage to your hearing, do not play earphones at a high volume for long periods of time.

Basic Operation
• After turning on the power, the main operation page will be appeared on the screen. Press

buttons to select iPod, Photo, Music, Movie, AV IN, Line IN, or Setup functions.
• Please refer to the following table to select the proper mode to play the les.

Please note that not all images, audio and MPEG4 formats are compatible with the device.
• This device can only display one storage media’s contents at a time. If more than one input source is

> to select which source you want to play. If you insert SD/MMC card and USB pen drive at same time, the device will only play the les from SD/MMC card. To play the les from USB pen drive, please remove the SD/MMC card.
• When you input the external signals via AV composite jack or audio cable, only the volumes can be adjusted (AV In and Line In mode).

Viewing photos and slide shows

• Displaying pictures bigger than 480 x 234 will take longer to load.
• When the device is not operative in few second, the screen saver will be activated automatically. To stop the screen saver, press any button on the device or remote control.

Troubleshooting
No power
• Check to make sure the power plug is plugged into the power outlet.
• Make sure there is power to the outlet.
Unable to view photos
• Not all JPEG les are compatible. Please open the les in the computer and resave them as JPEG les and try to playback in the device.
• Check if using compatible memory cards.
If picture display seems slow
• Use lower resolution picture.
Unable to view lms
• Not all MPEG 4(*.avi) les are compatible. Please open the les in the computer and convert into readable formats.
Memory card
• If you want to insert MS Duo, MS Duo Pro, M2 or MS PRO-HG card into this device, use only with Memory Stick Duo Replacement Adapter or Memory Stick Micro Adapter (not supplied).
• This device does not support SDHC card.
iPod does not respond to the device
• Check the connection, if the iPod is not installed properly. Remove the iPod and reinsert the iPod into the iPod dock connector.
• Check any obstruction on the iPod or device’s dock connectors.
iPod does not recharge
• The iPod may be not installed properly. Remove and reinsert the iPod into the iPod dock connector.
• Verify that the iPod is working before inserting into device’s dock connector.
Remote control does not respond
• Check the battery if the remote control does not work.
• Check the battery is installed with the correct polarities (+ and –).
