Before connecting your audio device, set the SELECTOR switch to suit your device. The SELECTOR switch allows the Sound Safe Plus to work optimally with either of the two main classes of smartphone or audio devices. Select ‘I’ for iPhone and iPod, Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2, HTC, Motorola, BlackBerry, LG and Palm devices. Select ‘S’ for Samsung Galaxy S, Sony Ericsson or Nokia devices.
1. Plug the Sound Safe Plus audio plug into the headset socket of your audio device (MP3 player, iPod

, iPhone® or smartphone).
2. Turn the volume on your audio device up to a normal listening level and select ‘play’.
NOTE: The best sound is created by turning the volume up to about the 70 – 80% level. If the volume on your audio device is too low the volume level from the Sound Safe may also be too low. If the volume level on your audio source is at 100%, the sound may be distorted at high volume levels.
3. Turn the volume on the Sound Safe Plus to the desired listening level either through the speaker or through a headset.
