Manual Forklift Jack Safety Warnings #988869
Read and understand all instructions and safety warnings prior to operating jack. Operators must be qualified, trained, and use caution when operating unit.
All parties must follow proper safety procedures and precautions at all times.
• Use only on level, durable surfaces away from traffic.
• The forklift jack should only be positioned under the forklift in areas specified by forklift manufacturer.
• Do not exceed rated capacity of 8800 lbs.
• Apply parking brake and chock tires prior to raising forklift.
• Inspect jack prior to use; do not operate if damaged or in poor condition.
• Use extreme caution when lifting narrow fork lift trucks (less than 40" wide).
• Never use more than one jack to raise fork lift truck.
• Do not raise forklift from ground completely, two wheels must remain in contact with floor at all times.
• Do not insert jack beyond red line on marked decal on lift arm surface.
• Do not mishandle or abuse unit in any manner.
• Do not operate, move or dolly forklift when supported by jack.
• Use appropriate support stands to stabilize forklift when raised. Do not service or work under forklift for any reason unless properly supported.
• Jack is solely designed for fork lift truck handling.
• Do not modify or alter unit. Modifications may cause improper functionality resulting in possible injury or death.
• Do not operate unit with ANY aftermarket accessories including but not limited to lift pads, adaptors or devices.
• Wear safety approved eyewear and gloves while operating jack. Protect all extremities including hands, feet and other body parts while operating
or transporting jack.
• Operate unit slowly, remaining clear of load while in motion.
The warnings, precautions and instructions discussed cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur.
Failure to heed these warnings may result in property damage, personal injury and/or death.

TRANSPORTING BY WHEEL
First raise jack handle as far as it will go
and place "J" clip around the pump shaft
as shown. This will prevent the handle from
moving down. Push down on the handle to raise
the front foot pad off the floor and allow the jack
to roll freely on its wheels.

TRANSPORTING BY LIFTING
Identify the proper lift point on the jack (See Detail).
The jack should be lifted using both the handle and
the toe lift point.
WARNING: DO NOT attempt to lift the jack if you
have any physical conditions that prevents you from
safely lifting this amount of weight.
