Inbetriebnahme sorgfältig durch.

Beachten Sie insbesondere die nachfolgend aufgeführten Sicherheitshinweise.
Bitte bewahren Sie diese Anleitung für eine spätere Einsichtnahme auf, bei einer Weitergabe des Artikels bitte die
Anleitung mitgeben. Bei Fragen zum Gerät oder Beanstandungen finden Sie bitte unsere Service-Informationen am
Ende dieser Anleitung.

Übersicht

Der Mobile NoteTaker kann alle Ihre handschriftlichen Notizen oder Zeichnungen auf einfachem DIN A4 Papier
erfassen und sie in seinem internen Flash-Speicher ablegen. Die so erfassten Notizen können über die mitgelieferte
USB-Schnittstelle auf Ihren Computer hochgeladen werden. Das e note hilft Ihnen dabei, spontane Gedanken und
wichtig Notizen jederzeit digital festzuhalten auch wenn Sie nicht am PC sitzen können.

Der Mobile NoteTaker besteht aus einem digitalen Stift und einem kleinen Empfangsgerät, das Ultraschall- und
Infrarot-Technologien mithilfe ausgeklügelter Algorithmen kombiniert, um dank eines präzisen Aufnahme- und
Positionierungssystems die Bewegungen der Stiftspitze auf jeder Oberfläche aufzuzeichnen und die Bewegungen in
ein Vektorbild der Handschrift des Benutzers zu überführen. Zur Speicherung sendet der digitale Stift die
handschriftlichen Texte an das Empfangsgerät.

Die folgenden Kapitel werden sowohl Hardware- als auch Softwarefunktionen des Geräts detailliert beschreiben.
Lesen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme bitte die Kurzanleitung gut durch. Um weitere, detaillierte Informationen über das
Gerät zu erhalten, lesen Sie bitte das auf der beiliegenden CD befindliche Benutzerhandbuch (Englisch) durch. Hier
erhalten Sie weitere Informationen über nützliche Funktionen, die Sie vielleicht noch nicht kennen.

Wichtige Funktionen

 Erfassen natürlicher Handschriften und Zeichnungen ohne PC-Anschluss.
 Speichern handschriftlicher Notizen im eingebauten Flash-Speicher.
 Übertragung der erfasster handschriftlicher Notizen auf Ihren PC mit Hilfe der USB-Steckverbindung
 Benutzen als digitaler Tintenstift mit Hover-Effekten und zustätzlicher Mausfunktionalität. Damit Sie direkt

unter Windows Vista and Office 2007 digital schreiben können. (Zur Aktivierung des digitalen Stifts unter Vista
und Office 2007 ist keine Software-Installation erforderlich.)

 Es ist kein besonderes Papier notwendig.
 Es können handelsübliche Nachfüllpatronen und Batterien genutzt werden.

Über den digitalen Stift

Bei dem digitalen Stift handelt sich um ein einzigartiges Gerät, das handschriftliche Notizen auf glattem Papier

erfasst und an das Basisgerät (enote) überträgt.

ACHTUNG:

Um Fehlfunktionen des Stiftes zu vermeiden, bitten wir Sie den digitalen Stift nicht
gewaltsam zu öffnen oder Ihn zu selbst zu reparieren. Wenden Sie sich bei technischen
Problemen bitte an unsere Service-Hotline. (Weitere Informationen dazu finden Sie am Ende
der Bedienungsanleitung)

WICHTIGER HINWEIS:

Um Notizen korrekt zu erfassen, stellen Sie bitte immer sicher, dass die Neigung des Stiftes zur Papieroberflächen
zwischen 45° und 90° beträgt. Achten Sie darauf, de n Stift so zu halten, dass die Signalübertragung von der Spitze
des Stiftes an das Empfangsgerät nicht blockiert wird.

Bessere Schreibqualität

Halten Sie den Stift gut fest
und schreiben Sie normal.

Blockieren Sie das

 Einsetzen/Ersetzen der Nachfüllpatrone

Die Spitze der Stiftkappe dient als zusätzliche Stütze um die Nachfüllpatrone besser aus dem Stift zu entfernen. Bei
dem Nachfüllen der Patrone st keine besondere Tinte notwendig. Sie können eine einfache, handelsübliche
Nachfüllpatrone mit der Länge von 67,2 mm und dem Durchmesser von 2,33 mm benutzen.

HINWEIS:
Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass die Nachfüllpatrone dem des Original entspricht (Länge: 67,2 mm.
Durchmesser: 2,33 mm).

Entfernen Sie die Kappe vom digitalen Stift.

Platzieren Sie die Nachfüllpatrone in die
Mitte des „Austreibers“. Halten Sie den Stift
gut fest, und drücken Sie mit dem Austreiber
dagegen. Winkeln Sie jetzt den Stift an.

3.

Ziehen Sie die verbrauchte Patrone aus dem
Stiftinneren heraus.

Einsetzen einer Nachfüllpatrone

1. Schieben Sie die neue Nachfüllpatrone in die

Spitze des Stiftes.

2. Drücken Sie die neue Nachfüllpatrone sanft

hinein, bis sie sicher in Position sitzt.

 Einsetzen/Austauschen der Stiftbatterie

HINWEIS:

(1) Verwenden Sie die beiliegende AAA-Batterie mit der richtigen Polarität.
(2) Bitte Entsorgen Sie die Batterien fachgerecht und werfen Sie diese nicht ihn Ihren Hausmüll.
(3) Bei Einsetzen eines falschen Batterietyps droht Explosionsgefahr. Bei niedrigem Batteriestand erscheint
das folgende Symbol auf Ihrer Anzeige:

Die folgende Warnung wird bei jeder neuen Notiz permanent angezeigt und das
Programmsymbol im Systemtray ändert sich entsprechend, bis die Batterien ersetzt worden sind.

• Nehmen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefachs am
Stift ab.

• Setzen Sie zwei SR41-Batterien mit dem
Pluspol nach oben ein.

• Setzen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefachs
wieder auf.

(4) Die Lebensdauer der Batterien kann variieren und kann vom Händler nicht garantiert werden. Die
mitgelieferten Batterien eignen sich nur für eine anfängliche Nutzung.

Über das Basisgerät

Der Mobile NoteTaker ist ein einzigartiges Gerät, das handschriftliche Notizen erfasst, speichert und Ihnen die
Möglichkeit bietet die gespeicherten Notizen auf Ihren PC zu laden.

Der Mobile NoteTaker kann mehr als 100 DIN A4-Seiten erfassen und speichern.

Mithilfe des LCD-Displays werden Sie über die aktuelle Seitenzahl, den Ladestand der Batterie und den aktuellen
Funktionsmodus informiert.

Schließen Sie den NoteTaker Zuhause oder im Büro mithilfe des USB-Kabels an Ihren PC an. Laden Sie die
gespeicherten Notizen auf Ihren PC und verwalten Sie diese von dort.

 Beschreibung der Schaltflächen

 Zurücksetzen des Geräts

Das Gerät verfügt an der Rückseite über einen RESET-Knopf. Dieser wird verwendet, um das Gerät
zurückzuschalten, wenn es nicht mehr reagiert. Um das Gerät zurückzuschalten, führen Sie bitte in das rot
umrandete Loch eine Spitze ein.

Das Basisgerät verfügt über eine eingebauten wiederaufladbaren Akku. Es wird keine externe Batterie benötigt. Bei
niedrigem Batteriestand laden Sie bitte den Akku, mit Hilfe des USB-Verbindungskabels über Ihren PC wieder auf.

 Anbringen des Basisgeräts auf dem Papier

Die folgenden Abbildungen zeigen, wie Sie Ihr Basisgerät entsprechend der empfohlenen Positionen an einem Block
oder einem normalen Blatt Papier (bis zu einer größen von DIN A 4) anbringen können.

A. Bei der Verwendung einer einzelnen Seite, empfehlen wird das Basisgerät in der oberen Mitte des Papiers

anzubringen:

B. Bei der Verwendung eines Papierblockes, wird für rechthändige Benutzer, das Anbringen des Basisgeräts in

der linken oberen Ecke des Papierblocks empfohlen:

C. Für linkshändige Benutzer, die einen Papierblock benutzen möchten, empfehlen wir das Basisgerät in der

rechten oberen Ecke zu befestigen:

 An den Computer anschließen
Durch den Anschluss des Geräts an einen PC können Sie Notizen vom Basisgerät auf den PC laden, mit dem Gerät
im Live-Modus arbeiten und die Firmware aktualisieren. Verwenden Sie bitte ausschließlich das beiliegende
USB-Kabel, um das Gerät an Ihren PC anzuschließen.

HINWEIS: Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das mit diesem Artikel mitgelieferte USB-Kabel!
Achtung:

Bewegen oder kippen Sie das Basisgerät NICHT, wenn Sie das Basisgerät verwenden. Ein Bewegen oder
Kippen kann zu verzogenen Schriftzügen oder anderen schweren Fehlern führen. Befestigen Sie es auf der
Papierkante mit der oberen Seite nach oben.

Aufzeichnen handschriftlicher Notizen

Der Mobile NoteTaker Pro bietet zwei Arbeitsmodi: Offline- oder Live-Modus zur Aufnahme handschriftlicher Notizen
oder Zeichnungen bei direkter Übertragung auf Ihren PC, Laptop oder einen anderen Bildschirm.

 Offline-Modus
Im Offline-Modus können Sie während Meetings, Konferenzen oder Lesungen Ihre
Notizen auf den e note aufzeichenn und speichern.
a. Drücken und halten Sie den ON/OFF-Knopf, um das Gerät einzuschalten.
b. Halten Sie das Basisgerät fest und drücken Sie alle Papierklammer leicht

zusammen.

c. Schieben Sie das Basisgerät wie im Kapitel Anbringen des Basisgeräts auf dem

Papier beschrieben auf der Schreibunterlage an.

d. Nehmen Sie den digitalen Stift und fangen Sie an zu schreiben.

HINWEIS: Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie den Stift so zu halten, dass die Signalübertragung von der Spitze
des Stiftes an das Empfangsgerät nicht blockiert wird.

e. Nach einer fertig gestellten Seite, drücken Sie bitte kurz den ON/OFF-Knopf, um die aktuelle Seite zu speichern

und um eine neue Seite zu beginnen. Auf dem Bildschirm des Basisgeräts können Sie die erhöhte Seitenzahl

sehen,
Bei eingeschaltetem e note werden alle Notizen im Basisgerät gespeichert. Sie können die Dateien auf den PC
hochladen, diese ansehen, bearbeiten oder per E-Mail an Kollegen und Freunde versenden.

 Live-Modus
Der Mobile NoteTaker funktioniert auch, wenn er direkt mit Ihrem PC oder Laptop
verbunden ist – der sogenannte Live-Modus.
Im Live-Modus werden noch währenddessen Sie Ihre Notizen auf ein Blatt Papier
schreiben diese direkt auf Ihrem Monitor am PC hochgeladen und übertragen. Sie
können mit dem digitalen Stift genauso wie im Offline-Modus Notizen verfassen
oder Bilder zeichnen.

Der digitale Stift kann im Live-Modus auch als Maus verwendet werden – mit
Hover-Effekten und linkem und rechten Klick. Außerdem gibt es noch einige
besondere Funktionen, die nur im Live-Modus möglich sind. Diese Funktionen werden detailliert in den nächsten
Kapiteln beschrieben werden.

Stellen Sie vor Anschluss des Geräts an einen PC zuerst sicher, dass das auf der CD befindliche Programm
NoteTaker Manager installiert und gestartet wurde.

Wichtiger Hinweis: Schließen Sie nie mehr als ein e note Gerät gleichzeitig an Ihren PC an. Das kann zu
gegenseitigen Beeinträchtigungen führen.

Vermeiden Sie Störungen durch das Verwenden einer normalen Maus:

Wird der Stift nicht verwendet, schaltet er sich nach 60 Minuten
automatisch ab.
Wird der Stift nicht benutzt, sollte er wie abgebildet abgelegt werden, um
Überschneidungen mit der normalen Mausbenutzung zu vermeiden.

Installieren des Programms NoteTaker

1. Legen Sie die Installations-CD in Ihr CD-ROM-Laufwerk ein. Das Installationsprogramm sollte automatisch
starten. Sollte dies nicht geschehen, führen Sie dieses Programm bitte manuell über Ausführen im
Windows-Startmenü durch Eingabe von D:\setup.exe aus. Sollte Ihr CD-Laufwerk einen anderen
Laufwerksbuchstaben verwenden, verwenden Sie bitte diesen Buchstaben anstelle von D.

2. Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.

3. Sobald die Installation abgeschlossen ist, startet die automatische Treiberinstallation. Bitte befolgen Sie alle
Schritte dieses Vorgangs.

4. Nach dem Installationsvorgang wird beim ersten Programmstart ein neuer Ordner mit dem Namen „My Notes“ in
Ihrem Verzeichnis „Eigene Dateien“ erstellt. Ihre gesamten Notizen werden in diesem Ordner gespeichert. Sollte
das Verzeichnis „Eigene Dateien“ nicht gefunden werden, wird die Installationsroutine einen neuen Ordner „My
Documents“ auf Ihrer Festplatte C erstellen. Der Ordner „My Notes“ wird dann unterhalb dieses Ordners
erstellt werden. Bei Deinstallation, Aktualisierung oder erneuter Installation in einem anderen Verzeichnis
werden die Notizen in diesem Ordner verbleiben und nicht überschrieben.

Notizen auf Ihren PC hochladen

Im Live-Modus können Sie Ihre gesamten Notizen mithilfe des Programms NoteTaker aus dem Speichergerät auf
Ihren PC hochladen. Bevor Sie das tun, stellen Sie bitte folgende Punkte sicher:

- Ihr PC-Programm läuft

- Ihr Speichergerät ist mithilfe des zugehörigen USB-Kabels an den USB-Anschluss des PCs angeschlossen

Während der USB-Verbindung wird das folgende Symbol auf dem LCD-Display Ihres Speichergeräts angezeigt.

Notizen hochladen:

1. Starten Sie den NoteTaker Manager.

2. Wählen Sie im Menü „File“ den Befehl „Upload“. Alle Notizen Ihres Speichergeräts werden auf Ihren PC

hochgeladen.

3. Nach Beendigung des Vorgangs erscheint eine Meldung, in der Sie gefragt werden, ob Sie alle Notizen im

Speichergerät löschen wollen.

- Wählen Sie „Ja“, um alle Notizen im Speichergerät zu löschen.

- Wählen Sie „Nein“, um die Notizen aufzubewahren.

HINWEIS:

• Wählen Sie „Nein“, so werden die bereits auf Ihrem PC geladenen Notizen beim nächsten Hochladen nicht noch

einmal auf Ihrem PC hochgeladen.

• Wenn Sie jedoch Notizen aus dem PC-Programm löschen und dann eine weiteren Ladevorgang starten, werden

diese Notizen nochmals heraufgeladen.

• Sie können eine der folgenden drei Optionen auswählen, die automatisch ausgeführt werden, wenn Sie Ihr Mobile

NoteTaker Basisgerät anschließen. Sie können im NoteManager im Menü „Configuration

-->Preferences“ ausgewählt werden.

Dabei gibt es folgende Optionen zum Heraufladen neuer Notizen:

·YES – Ihre Notizen werden jedes Mal automatisch heraufgeladen, wenn Sie das Gerät mit dem PC
verbinden.

· NO – Ihre Notizen werden nicht heraufgeladen. Bei dieser Option müssen Sie das Heraufladen
manuell im NoteManager über das Menü „File -->Upload“ durchführen.

· ASK ME – Sie werden jedes Mal gefragt, wenn Sie das Mobile NoteTaker Basisgerät anschließen, ob Sie
Ihre Notizen heraufladen möchten.

Funktionsmodus des digitalen Stifts

Beim Anschluss an den PC unterstützt der NoteTaker einen Notizmodus und einen Mausmodus.
Im Notizmodus wird eine schriftliche Notiz im Programm NoteTaker angelegt, sobald Sie mit dem digitalen Stift auf
Papier schreiben.

Im Mausmodus dient der digitale Stift als Mausersatz mit Funktionen und Effekten wie Hover sowie linker und
rechter Mausklick. Der Schaltknopf befindet sich auf dem Stiftgehäuse. Schreibunterstützende Anwendungen wie
zum Beispiel Microsoft Journal, Vista Schreibanwendungen und Office 2007 sollten in diesem Modus benutzt
werden.

Die Auswahl des Standardmodus

kann auf zwei Arten erfolgen:

a. Beim ersten Start des Programms NoteTaker

ODER

b. Mithilfe des Menüs „Configuration“ in NoteTaker („Set Digital Pen Mode“)

Während des Betriebs kann eine Modusänderung auf 3 Arten erfolgen.

a. Drücken Sie den oberen Knopfs des Basisgeräts („ON/OFF“-Knopf)

ODER

b. Führen Sie einen rechten Mausklick auf dem „NoteTaker“-Symbol aus und ändern Sie den Modus

ODER

c. Klicken Sie mit Ihrem Stift auf den virtuellen Bereich

Hinweis: Bei jeder Modusänderung wird eine Meldung mit dem aktuellen Modus angezeigt und das
entsprechende LED leuchtet auf.

Im Mausmodus verhält sich Ihr digitaler Stift wie eine Maus und verfügt über folgende Funktionen:

● Sie können den Stift bewegen, um Ihren Maus-Cursor ebenfalls zu bewegen. Um mit der Bewegung zu
beginnen, können Sie den seitlichen Knopf drücken oder mit dem Stift auf das Papier tippen. Ohne

weiteres Drücken wird sich der Stift nun etwa 30 Sekunden bewegen.

● Um ein Objekt anzuklicken, führen Sie einen rechten Mausklick auf diesem Objekt aus. Tippen Sie nun
mit dem Stift auf das Papier oder drücken Sie den seitlichen Knopf.

● Um auf einem Objekt einen doppelten Mausklick auszuführen, positionieren Sie Ihren Maus-Cursor
bitte auf diesem Objekt. Tippen Sie nun den Stift zweimal auf das Papier oder drücken Sie zweimal den

seitlichen Knopf.

● Um auf einem Objekt einen rechten Mausklick auszuführen, positionieren Sie Ihren Maus-Cursor bitte
auf diesem Objekt. Drücken Sie nun die Spitze des Stifts etwas länger auf das Papier. Ein besonderer

„Rechtsklick“-Cursor erscheint. Heben Sie den Stift vom Papier und das Kontextmenü
(Rechtsklickmenü) erscheint.

Notizen erstellen
Sobald Sie anfangen, etwas zu schreiben oder zu skizzieren, wird ein Notizfenster auf Ihrem Bildschirm erscheinen,
das alles anzeigt, was Sie auf dem an das Basisgerät befestigten Papier schreiben. Die Symbolleiste des
Notizfensters ermöglicht Ihnen, verschiedene Basisfunktionen wie das Speichern, Bearbeiten, Versenden und
Kopieren Ihrer Notizen während oder nach dem Schreiben.

HINWEIS: Stellen Sie beim Schreiben sicher, dass das Sichtfeld zwischen Stift und Basisgerät nicht von Ihrer Hand
eingeschränkt wird. Sobald das Sichtfeld eingeschränkt ist, wird der NoteTaker nicht mehr ordnungsgemäß
funktionieren.

Verwenden Sie nach Fertigstellung Ihrer Notiz die anderen Schaltflächen der Symbolleiste, um Ihre Notiz als Bilddatei
zu speichern, sie per E-Mail zu versenden, sie zu drucken oder sie im NoteManager zur späteren Bearbeitung zu
speichern.

Benutzen des NoteManagers
Der NoteManager kann zum Speichern, Anschauen, Suchen, Kopieren, Exportieren und Versenden der Notizen per
E-Mail verwendet werden.
Um detaillierte Informationen zum NoteManager zu erhalten, lesen Sie bitte die Bedienungsanleitung auf der
beiliegenden CD.

Einsatz des Mobile NoteTaker in Microsoft Windows Vista Schreibanwendungen

Mit dem Mobile NoteTaker können Sie Windows Vista Schreibanwendungen wie zum Beispiel Journal, Sticky
Notes und ebenso Notiz-Add-Ins für Office 2007-Programme verwenden.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das LCD-Display ein Maussymbol anzeigt. Sie brauchen das Programm NoteTaker noch
nicht auszuführen. Der Stift funktioniert im Tablet-PC-Modus.
Fangen Sie an, über das Papier zu fahren. Prüfen Sie den abgedeckten Bereich. Abgedeckter Bereich ist die
Fläche des „imaginären“ Raums auf dem Papier, mit dem der gesamte Bildschirmbereich abgedeckt wird
(zwischen 4 Eckpunkten).

Verwenden des Notemaker-Stifts in Journal

(1) Starten Sie Windows Journal
(2) Fangen Sie an, auf dem Papier zu schreiben und blicken Sie auf den Bildschirm.
(3) Sie können einige weitere Funktionen wie Textumrandung und Markieren mit einem Lasso verwenden und

im Aktions-Pulldownverzeichnis angeben. Ebenso können Sie Texte löschen, hervorheben usw.

Verwenden des Notemaker-Stifts in Microsoft Word 2007

(1) Öffnen Sie eine Microsoft Word 2007-Datei
(2) Wählen Sie aus der Schreibwerkzeug-Symbolleiste (sollte manuell hinzugefügt werden) den roten Stift. Sie

sollten nun mehrere Tintenoptionen zur Verfügung haben. Sie können in Word Anmerkungen machen oder
schreiben.

(3) Öffnen Sie den Schreibkommentar (blauer Stift auf gelbem Grund in der Stift-Symbolleiste). Auf der rechten

Seite öffnet sich ein Feld. Verwenden Sie ihn für handschriftliche Anmerkungen.

In jedem Office-Programm gibt es ein Tablet-PC-Eingabefeld auf der linken Bildschirmseite. Sie sehen nur
dessen Begrenzung. Wenn Sie darauf klicken, wird er auf dem Bildschirm geöffnet. Sie können Sätze oder
einzelne Buchstaben schreiben und es würde automatisch die Handschrift erkennen: Wort für Wort oder
Buchstabe für Buchstabe.

Bemerkung: Sollte die Maus ins Leere laufen, tippen Sie bitte einmal mit der Patronenseite auf das Papier.
Damit wird der Schlafmodus des Stifts beendet.

Der Mobile NoteTaker am Mac
NoteTaker Installation für Mac

Das folgende Verfahren führt Sie durch die Installation des Mobile NoteTaker für Mac.
(1) Klicken Sie auf das NoteTaker Installations-Symbol (NoteTaker.pkg). Das NoteTaker Installationsprogramm wird

geöffnet (ein Standard Mac Installationsprogramm):

(2) Klicken Sie auf „weiter“ zur Ziel-Auswahl. In diesem Schritt werden Sie aufgefordert, den Ort zu wählen (in der Regel
Ihre Mac-Festplatte), wo Sie die NoteTaker Software installieren wollen. Wenn Sie den gewünschten Speicherort
ausgewählt haben, bestätigt das Installationsprogramm Ihre Auswahl:

(3) Klicken Sie auf „weiter“. Das Installationsprogramm führt Sie weiter zum Schritt „Auswahl des Installations-Typs“. In
diesem Schritt bestätigen Sie, dass Sie eine Standard-Installation der NoteTaker Software möchten.

Anmerkung:

Bei einer Standard-Installation wird die Software direkt in den Ordner "Programme" auf Ihrer Mac-Festplatte gespeichert.
Wenn Sie die Software an einem anderen Ort speichern möchten, klicken Sie auf „Change Install Location“. Damit gehen
Sie zum vorherigen Schritt zurück und den Zielpfad neu wählen.

(4) Klicken Sie auf „Install“. Der Passwort-Dialog wird geöffnet.
(5) Geben Sie Ihr Benutzer-Passwort ein und klicken Sie auf „OK“. Es wird Ihnen angezeigt, sobald die Installation
abgeschlossen ist.
(6) Klicken Sie auf „close“, um die Installation abzuschließen.

Über das Mobile NoteTaker Preferences Tool
Wenn Sie mit dem digitalen Stift Texte schreiben, wird alles, was Sie schreiben, als eine Reihe von TIFF (Tagged Image
File Format)-Dateien auf dem Basisgerät gespeichert. Bevor Sie Ihren Text auf Ihrem Mac konvertieren können, müssen
Sie zuerst die TIFF-Dateien vom Basisgerät auf Ihre Festplatte übertragen. Wenn Sie den Mobile NoteTaker an einen
USB-Port an Ihrem Mac anschließen, wird Ihr Text automatisch vom Basisgerät auf Ihren Mac übertragen.
Bevor Sie beginnen können, den Text vom Basisgerät zu übertragen, müssen Sie zuerst einige Einstellungen auf Ihrem
Mac vornehmen. Sie entscheiden in diesen Einstellungen:

Einstellungen vornehmen mit dem Mobile NoteTaker Preferences Tool

Das folgende Verfahren beschreibt, wie Sie die Einstellungen mit dem Mobile NoteTaker Preferences Tool vornehmen
können:

1. Klicken Sie auf das Symbol „Einstellungen“. Ein Dialogfenster wird geöffnet:

Der Dialog besteht aus folgenden Elementen:

• Ziel-Pfad – zeigt den Pfad zu dem Verzeichnis auf Ihrem Mac-Festplatte an, wo TIFF-Dateien aus dem Mobile
NoteTaker gespeichert werden.

• Clear Device Memory - wenn diese Funktion aktiviert ist, wird der Speicher des Basisgeräts gelöscht, nachdem Sie die
TIFF- Datei auf Ihren Mac geladen haben. Wenn diese Funktion nicht aktiviert ist, bleiben die TIFF-Dateien auf dem
Basisgerät gespeichert, auch nachdem Sie die Dateien auf Ihren Mac übertragen haben.

2. Die erste Einstellung, die Sie brauchen, ist der Speicherort der TIFF-Dateien auf Ihrem Mac. Der Zielpfad zeigt den
Standard-Speicherort für die TIFF-Dateien an. Wenn Sie einen anderen Pfad wählen möchten, klicken Sie auf die
Schaltfläche mit den Auslassungspunkten („..."), um Finder-Fenster zu öffnen:

3. Wählen Sie wo auf Ihrem Mac Sie TIFF-Bilder speichern möchten, indem Sie den jeweiligen Speicherort in der linken
Spalte auswählen und klicken Sie dann auf "Öffnen". Das Finder-Fenster wird geschlossen und der neue Ziel-Pfad wird im
Mobile NoteTaker Preferences Dialog angezeigt.

4. Wenn Sie möchten, dass der Speicher auf dem Basisgerät nach jedem Upload gelöscht wird, stellen Sie sicher, dass
der Menupunkt „Clear Device Memory“ ausgewählt ist. Um die Bilder auch nach dem Upload auf dem Basisgerät
gespeichert zu lassen, wählen Sie diesen Menupunkt nicht aus.

5. Um die Einstellungen zu speichern, klicken Sie auf „Save“ und schließen Sie den Mobile NoteTaker Preferences Dialog.
Wenn Sie das nächste Mal den Mobile NoteTaker mit Ihrem Mac verbinden, werden die TIFF-Dateien gemäß Ihren
Einstellungen gespeichert.

6. Um den Mobile NoteTaker Preferences Dialog ohne Änderungen zu schließen, klicken Sie auf „Exit“.

Der Mobile NoteTaker im Gebrauch mit Mac

Schritt 1: Gebrauchen Sie den Mobile NoteTaker, um Ihre Notizen zu machen und zu speichern, während Sie gerade nicht
an Ihrem Mac arbeiten.

Schritt 2: Schließen Sie das Mobile NoteTaker Basisgerät an Ihren Mac an, um die gespeicherten Notizen hochzuladen.
Die Notizen werden im TIFF-Format gespeichert. Um sich diese anzusehen machen Sie einen Doppelklick auf die
gewünschte TIFF-Datei.

Schritt 3: Während der Anbindung an den Mac über USB-Port, kann der Mobile NoteTaker auch als Maus und zur Eingabe
in Mac Ink Anwendungen genutzt werden. Verwenden Sie den digitalen Stift in Anwendungen wie iWork'08. Sie können
handschriftliche Notizen in iWork Pages (Textverarbeitung), iWork Keynote (Präsentationen) und iWork Numbers
(Tabellen) konvertieren.

Der digitale Stift kann auch für Zeichnungen innerhalb von Anwendungen wie Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc genutzt
werden.

Thanks for purchasing this useful and powerful product!

The Mobile NoteTaker can capture any handwritten notes or drawings on a plain paper and store them in its internal
flash memory. Captured notes can be uploaded to computer via its USB interface. It really helps when you are away
from computer and needs to capture any instant thoughts or important points.

The Mobile NoteTaker consists of a digital pen and a small receiving unit, which combines Ultrasound and Infrared
technologies with sophisticated algorithms to enable an accurate tracking and positioning system that tracks the
movement of the tip of the pen on any surface and converts the movement into a vector image of the user’s
handwriting. The digital pen transmits handwritings to the receiver unit for storage.

The following chapters will describe both hardware and software features of the device in details. Read the Quick
User Guide before operation. For detail information about the device, please read the included User Manual on the
CD provided with the package, so that you are aware of some useful functions that you may not know.

About the digital pen

The digital pen is used with any of receiving units such as Mobile NoteTaker and PC Notes Taker. It is a unique

device that captures notes handwritten on plain paper, and transmits them to the base unit.

Do not attempt to open the Digital Pen. This may cause the pen to malfunction.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

When you are writing with the digital pen, make sure its inclination to the paper surface

is between 45°and 90°.
Be careful to hold the pen in a way that does not block signals sent from the tip of the pen to the receiver unit.

For better writing quality

 Installing/Replacing an Ink Refill into the Pen

The top of the pen cap also functions as an ink refill Extractor. No special ink refill is needed. Just use a standard
off-the-shell ink refill.

NOTE: Make sure you use a refill that is similar to the original (standard refill: 67.2mm long X 2.33mm diameter).

About the base unit

The Mobile Note Taker is a unique device that captures handwritten notes, stores notes and uploads them to
computer.

The Mobile Note Taker can capture and store over 100 A4 pages.

Through the LCD display, the user can know the current page number, battery charge and current working mode.
At home or in the office, the user can connect the Mobile Note Taker to PC using the USB cable, then upload and

manage the saved notes.

The unit has a RESET button on the back. It is used to reset the unit when it has no respond. To reset the unit, stab
into the hole circled in red with a tip.

The base unit has a built-in rechargeable battery. No external battery is needed. When the battery is low, just
recharge the battery by connecting the device to computer via USB connection.

 Mounting your Base Unit to Paper

Your base unit can be mounted in 3 positions on top of the paper.
The following images illustrate the way you can mount your base unit, according to the recommended positioning.

A. Mounting your base unit at the top center of the paper is recommended for a single paper usage:

 Connect to computer
You can upload notes from the base unit to a computer, work in On-line mode and upgrade firmware by connecting
the device to a computer. Use the included USB cable to connect the device to a computer. (NOTE: Only use the
USB cable provided with the package.)

Warning:
DO NOT move or overturn the base unit when you are using the base unit. Fix it up onto the edge of the paper
with the face up. Moving or overturning it may result in mixed strokes or other fatal errors.

Take handwritten notes

The Mobile NoteTaker provides two working modes: Off-line and On-line mode to take handwritten notes or drawings.

 Off-line Mode
The off-line mode enables you to capture and store important notes in meetings,
conferences or lectures.
a. Press and hold the ON/OFF button to power on the unit.
b. Hold the base unit and gently press all paper clippers together.
c. Slide the base unit into the paper’s upper edge and make sure the base unit is in

the center.

d. Pick up the digital pen and start writing. (NOTE: Be careful to hold the pen in a

way that does not block signals sent from the tip of the pen to the receiver unit.)

e. Once you’ve completed one page, shortly press the ON/OFF button to save current page and start a new page.

On the base unit screen, you can see the page number added by one.

All notes are stored in the base unit. You can upload them to a PC for viewing, editing, or email.

 On-Line Mode

The Mobile NoteTaker also works when it is in connection with PC, which is called
On-line mode.
In the On-line mode, you can upload notes from the base unit to PC, write notes or
draw pictures with the digital pen just as you do in off-line mode.
The digital pen can also acts as a mouse with features like hovering, left and right
click. Additionally, there are some special features to be used only with the On-line
mode. Those features will be described in details in the followed chapters.

Before you connect the device to a PC, first make sure to install the NoteTaker
manager application included in the CD and run it.

Important Notice: Do not connect more than one set of this device at
the same time. That may cause interference with each other.

Avoid interference while using regular mouse:

When the pen is not in use it powers off automatically after 60 minutes.
It is recommend that while not in use, the pen is placed as shown, to avoid interface with a regular mouse operation.

Installing NoteTaker software

1. Insert the installation CD into your CD ROM drive. The setup program should start automatically. If not, run the
program by selecting ‘Run’ from the Windows ‘Start’ menu and type in D:\setup.exe. If your CD drive uses a different
letter, type that letter instead of D.

2. Follow the instructions on the screen.

3. Once installation is complete, automatic driver installation will start. Please follow the steps during this process.

4. After the installation process, when running the application for the 1st time, a new folder named “My Notes,” is
created in your “My Documents” directory. All your notes will be saved into this directory. In the event that no “My
Documents” directory is found, the installation process will create a new “My Documents” folder on your C hard drive.
The ‘My Notes’ folder will then be created under this directory. If you uninstall, upgrade or reinstall the software in a
different location, the note files will remain in this directory, and will not be overwritten.

Uploading Notes to your PC

When in On-line Mode, you can upload all your notes from the memory unit to your PC using the NoteTaker software
application. Before doing so, first make sure that:

·Your PC software application is running

·Your memory unit is connected to your PC’s USB port using the memory unit USB cable

The following icon indicator will be displayed on your memory unit LCD during USB connection.

To upload notes:

1. Start the NoteTaker Manager.

2. In the ‘File’ menu, select ‘Upload’. All notes in your memory unit are uploaded to your PC.

3. At the end of the process, a message appears asking if you want to delete all notes on the memory unit.

·Select ‘Yes’ to erase all notes on your memory unit.

·Select ‘NO’ to retain the notes.

NOTE:

· When you select ‘NO’, the next time you upload those notes that are already uploaded to the PC Will not be
uploaded.

However, if you delete notes from the PC application and then upload again from the memory unit, the notes will be
uploaded again.

· You can select one of three options to be performed automatically when your Mobile NoteTaker base unit is
connected. The following can be selected in the ‘Configuration -->Preferences’ menu within the Note Manager.

Upload new notes automatically options:

·YES – Your Mobile Notes will be automatically uploaded each time you connect it to your PC

· NO – Your Mobile Notes will not be uploaded. In this option, you will manually need to perform this action by

selecting ‘File -->Upload’ menu within the Note Manager

· ASK ME – Each time you connect the Mobile NoteTaker base unit, you will be prompted if you want to upload
your notes

Operation mode of the digital pen

When connected to PC, NoteTaker supports a Note mode and a Mouse Mode.
In Note mode, writing on a paper with the digital pen will create an Ink note within the NoteTaker application.
In Mouse mode, the digital pen acts as a mouse with features like hovering, left and right click. The click button is

on the pen’s body. Normally, Ink enabled applications such as Microsoft Journal, Vista Ink applications, Office
2007 should be used in this mode.

Selecting default mode

can be done in 2 ways:

a. At the first time you start your NoteTaker application

OR

b. Using the NoteTaker ‘Configuration’ menu (‘Set Digital Pen Mode’)

Changing modes during operation can be done in 3 ways:

a. Press the base unit top button (‘ON/OFF’ button)

OR

b. Right click the ‘NoteTaker’ tray icon, and change mode

OR

c. Clicking on the virtual area using your pen

Note: On each mode change, a Balloon will popup indicating the current mode and the corresponding LED will
it.

In Mouse mode, your Digital pen behaves as a mouse with the following functionality:

● To move your mouse cursor you can hover with the pen.
To start Hovering you can press the side button or tip

the pen on the paper. The pen will now hover even with
no press for about 30 seconds.

● To Click an object, point your mouse cursor on that object. Now tip the pen
on the paper or click the side button.

● To Double-Click an object, point your mouse cursor on that object. Now tip
the pen twice on the paper or click the side button twice.

● To Right-Click an object, point your mouse cursor on that object. Now press
the tip of the pen a bit longer on the paper. A special 'Right Click' cursor will appear.

Lift the pen from the paper, and the context menu (Right Click menu) appears.

Creating Notes

The moment you begin to write or sketch with your digital pen, a Note Window appears on your screen that reflects
everything that you write on the paper attached to the base unit. The Note Window toolbar allows you to perform
various basic functions such as saving, editing, sending and copying your notes while writing, or once you have
finished writing.

NOTE: While writing, make sure not to block the line of sight between the pen and the base unit with your hand. When
the line of sight is blocked, the NoteTaker will not function properly.

When you have finished with your note use the other toolbar buttons to save your note to a picture file, email it, print it,
or simply save it to your Note Manager window for later use

Use the note manager

The Note Manager can be used for storing, viewing, searching, copying, exporting and e-mailing notes.
For detail information about the note manager, see the Instruction Manual contained in the CD.

Using the Mobile NoteTaker in Microsoft Windows Vista Ink Applications

The Mobile NoteTaker enables you to use Windows Vista Ink applications such as Journal, Sticky notes and also
to add Ink Notes into Office 2007 applications.
Make sure the Mouse Icon on the base unit LCD is on. There is no need to operate the NoteTaker application yet.
The pen works in tablet-pen mode.
Start Hovering above the paper. Check the coverage area. Coverage area means the size of the “imaginative”
square on the paper that covers the whole screen area (in between 4 corners).

Using NoteTaker Pen in Journal

(1) Run Windows Journal
(2) Start writing on the paper while looking at the screen
(3) You can use few more features like circle a text with Lasso (next the eraser) and ask for recognition in Actions

drop down directory. You can also erase, highlight texts etc.

Using NoteTaker pen in MS-Word 2007

(1) Open a Microsoft Word 2007 file
(2) From Ink tool bar (should be set manually) choose the red pen. Various ink options are opened for you. You

can annotate or write in Word.

(3) Open ink comment-(blue pen on yellow mote at the ink toolbar). A balloon is opened, on the right hand side.

Use it for handwriting comments.

In every Office Application there is a Tablet PC input Panel on the left hand side. You can see just the end of it.
When you tap it, it will appear on the screen. You can write sentence or individual letters and it would recognize
the handwriting automatically: word by word or letter by letter.

Comment: At any time that the mouse goes dead, tip once on the paper with the refill. It will take the pen out of
sleep mode.

Using NoteTaker in Mac System

 Installing the NoteTaker for Mac software
The following procedure guides you through installation of the NoteTaker for Mac.

(1) Click on the NoteTaker installer icon (NoteTaker.pkg). The NoteTaker Installer opens (a standard Mac installer):

(2) Click Continue. The Installer advances to the Destination Selection step. In this step, you are asked to choose the

location (usually your Mac hard drive) where you want to install the NoteTaker software. When you select (click on)
your preferred hard drive, the Installer confirms your selection:

3. Click Continue. The Installer advances to the Installation Type stage. In this stage, you confirm that you want to
perform a standard installation of the NoteTaker software on the hard drive you selected.

Notes:
Performing a standard installation will install the software directly into your Applications folder on your Mac’s hard drive.
If you want to change the location to which the software will be installed, clicking Change Install Location will return you to
the previous step, Choose Destination Location.

4. Click Install. The Password dialog opens.

5. Enter your user password and click OK. The NoteTaker software is installed on the drive you selected and the Install

Succeeded message is displayed on the Installer.

About the NoteTaker Preferences Tool

When you use your Digital Pen to write text, everything you write is saved as a series of TIFF (Tagged Image File Format)
images in the Mobile NoteTaker memory. Before you can work with your text on your Mac, you first need to transfer the
TIFF images from the Mobile NoteTaker to your Mac’s hard drive. When you connect the Mobile NoteTaker to a USB port
on your Mac, your text is automatically transferred directly from the Mobile NoteTaker to your Mac.

Before you can start transferring your text from the Mobile NoteTaker, you first need to set preferences on your Mac. By
setting preferences, you decide:

• where on your Mac’s hard drive you want to save the TIFF images;

• whether you want to erase the TIFF images from the Mobile NoteTaker after you have imported them to your Mac.

You set these preferences using the NoteTaker Preference Tool.

Setting Preferences with the NoteTaker Preference Tool

The following procedure describes how to set preferences using the NoteTaker Preference Tool:

1. Click on the NoteTaker Preferences icon. The NoteTaker Preferences dialog opens:

The NoteTaker Preferences dialog consists of the following elements:

• The Target Path – displays the path to the location on your Mac’s hard drive where TIFF images from the Mobile
NoteTaker will be saved.

• The Clear Device Memory checkbox – if this checkbox is checked, the Mobile NoteTaker’s memory will be cleared
(erased) after you upload TIFF images to your Mac. If the checkbox is unchecked, the TIFF images will remain saved
on the Mobile NoteTaker after you have uploaded them to your Mac.

2. The first preference you need to set is the location on your Mac where TIFF images will be saved when you transfer
them from the Mobile NoteTaker. The Target Path displays the default location to which the TIFF images will be
saved. To choose a different path, click the ellipsis button (“…”) to open the Finder window:

3. Choose where on your Mac you want to save TIFF images by clicking on the relevant location in the left hand column,
and then click Open. The Finder window closes and the new Target Path is displayed in the NoteTaker Preferences
dialog.

4. If you want to clear the NoteTaker’s memory each time you upload TIFF images from it, check the Clear Device
Memory checkbox. To leave the TIFF images on the Mobile NoteTaker after they are uploaded, leave the checkbox
unchecked.

5. To save your preferences and close the NoteTaker Preferences dialog, click Save. When you next connect the Mobile
NoteTaker to your Mac, your images will be uploaded according to the preferences you have set.

6. To close the NoteTaker Preferences dialog without saving any changes, click Exit.

STEP1

Use the Mobile NoteTaker to capture and save your notes while you are away from your Mac, in
meetings or lectures.

STEP2

Connect the Mobile NoteTaker to your Mac, to upload the saved notes. The notes are saved in
TIFF format. Double click on the desired TIFF file, in order to view the note.

STEP3

While being connected to the Mac via the USB port, the Mobile NoteTaker can be used as a
Mouse and as a Tablet input device for Mac ink applications. Use the digital pen in applications
such as iWork’08. You can write handwritten test, on-line, and the Mac will convert it into text.
The feature is available iWork Pages (word processor), iWork Keynote (presentations) and iWork
Numbers (spreadsheets).

The Digital Pen can be also used for drawings inside applications such as Adobe Illustrator,
Photoshop, etc.

Thank you very much for purchasing this GENIE product. Please note the following advice whenever this machine does
not function faultlessly, contrary to expectations.

The guarantee period amounts to 24 months from the date of purchase, provided that the machine has been used

Le Mobile NoteTaker peut saisir toute note manuscrite ou dessin sur du papier ordinaire et l’enregistrer dans sa
mémoire flash interne. Les notes saisies peuvent être téléchargées sur l’ordinateur via l’interface USB. C’est vraiment
utile lorsque vous êtes loin de l’ordinateur et que vous avez besoin d’enregistrer des pensées instantanées ou des
points importants.

Le Mobile NoteTaker comprend un stylo numérique et un petit récepteur qui associe les technologies à ultrasons et à
infrarouge à des algorithmes sophistiqués qui activent un système précis de repérage et de positionnement, suivant le
mouvement de la pointe du stylo sur n’importe quelle surface et convertissant le mouvement en une image vectorielle
de l’écriture manuscrite de l’utilisateur. Le stylo numérique transmet l’écriture manuscrite au récepteur à des fins
d’enregistrement.

Les chapitres suivants décriront les fonctions de l’appareil et du logiciel en détail. Lisez le guide de prise en main avant

À propos du stylo numérique

Le stylo numérique est utilisé par tout récepteur tel que Mobile NoteTaker et PC Notes Taker C’est un appareil

exceptionnel qui saisit les notes manuscrites sur du papier ordinaire et les transmet à l’unité de base.

AVERTISSEMENT :

N’essayez pas d’ouvrir le stylo numérique. Ceci peut provoquer une défaillance

du stylo.

AVIS IMPORTANT :

Lorsque vous écrivez avec un stylo numérique, veillez à ce qu’il soit incliné de 45° à 90° par rapport à la surface

du papier.
Veillez à tenir le stylo de manière à ne pas bloquer le signal envoyé par la pointe du stylo au récepteur.

Pour une meilleure qualité d’écriture

Tenez fermement le

 Installer/remplacer une recharge d’encre dans le stylo

Le haut du capuchon du stylo sert également d’extracteur de recharge d’encre. Aucune recharge spéciale d’encre
n’est nécessaire. Utilisez tout simplement une recharge d’encre standard en vente libre.

NOTE : veillez à utiliser une recharge identique à l’original (recharge standard : 67,2 mm de long x 2,33 mm de

diamètre).

Cet avertissement est affiché en continu sur chaque nouvelle note et l’icône de l’application dans la
zone de notification change afin de refléter l’état actuel jusqu’à ce que les piles soient
remplacées.

(4) La durée de vie des piles peut varier et ne peut être garantie. Les piles fournies conviennent uniquement
pour l’utilisation initiale.

À propos de l’unité de base

Le Mobile NoteTaker est un appareil exceptionnel qui saisit les notes manuscrites, les enregistre et les télécharge sur
l’ordinateur.

Le Mobile NoteTaker peut saisir et enregistrer plus de 100 pages en format A4.
À travers l’affichage LCD, l’utilisateur peut prendre connaissance du numéro de page actuel, du niveau de charge de la
pile et du mode de travail en cours.
À la maison ou au bureau, l’utilisateur peut connecter le Mobile NoteTaker à un ordinateur à l’aide du câble USB, et
ensuite télécharger et traiter les notes sauvegardées.

 Description des boutons

 Réinitialiser l’unité

L’unité comporte un bouton « RESET » (réinitialisation) à l’arrière. Il est utilisé afin de réinitialiser l’unité lorsqu’il ne
répond pas. Afin de réinitialiser l’unité, plantez un coup avec une pointe dans l’orifice encerclé de rouge.

 Charge de la pile
L’unité de base comprend une pile rechargeable intégrée. Aucune pile externe n’est nécessaire. Lorsque la pile est
faible, rechargez-la tout simplement en connectant l’appareil à un ordinateur via la connexion USB.

 Fixation de votre unité de base sur du papier

Votre unité de base peut être fixée en haut du papier selon 3 positions.

 Connexion à un ordinateur
Vous pouvez télécharger les notes de l’unité de base à l’ordinateur, travailler en mode en ligne et mettre à jour le
micrologiciel en connectant l’appareil à un ordinateur. Employez le câble USB joint pour connecter l’appareil à un
ordinateur. (REMARQUE : utilisez uniquement le câble USB fourni avec l’ensemble.)

Avertissement :
NE déplacez NI renversez l’unité de base lorsque vous l’utilisez. Fixez-la au bord du papier avec la face vers le
haut. Le déplacement ou le renversement peut provoquer des mélanges de caractères ou d’autres erreurs
fatales.

Prendre des notes manuscrites

Le Mobile NoteTaker Pro propose deux modes de travail : hors ligne et en ligne afin de prendre des notes manuscrites
ou de dessiner.

 Mode hors ligne
Le mode hors ligne vous permet de saisir et d’enregistrer des notes importantes lors
des réunions, des conférences ou des cours.
a. Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton ON/OFF (marche/arrêt) pour mettre

l’unité en marche.

b. Tenez l’unité de base et appuyez doucement sur tous les trombones en même

temps.

c. Glissez l’unité de base vers le bord supérieur du papier et veillez à ce qu’elle soit

centrée.

d. Prenez le stylo numérique et commencez à écrire. (REMARQUE : faites attention à tenir le stylo de manière à ne

pas bloquer le signal envoyé par la pointe du stylo au récepteur.)

e. Lorsque vous avez rempli une page, appuyez brièvement sur le bouton ON/OFF (marche/arrêt) pour sauver la

page en cours et commencer une nouvelle page. Sur l’écran de l’unité de base, vous pouvez voir le numéro de

page s’incrémenter.
Toutes les notes sont enregistrées dans l’unité de base. Vous pouvez les télécharger sur un ordinateur pour les voir,
les éditer ou les envoyer par e-mail.

 Mode en ligne
Le Mobile NoteTaker Pro fonctionne également en étant connecté à un ordinateur :
c’est le mode en ligne.
En mode en ligne, vous pouvez télécharger des notes de l’unité de base à un
ordinateur, prendre des notes ou dessiner avec le stylo numérique comme en mode
hors ligne.
Le stylo numérique peut également fonctionner comme une souris avec des
fonctions comme le glissement, les clics gauche et droite. En outre, certaines
fonctions spéciales peuvent être utilisées seulement en mode en ligne. Ces
fonctions seront décrites en détail dans les chapitres suivants.
Avant de connecter l’appareil à un ordinateur, assurez-vous tout d’abord d’avoir installé l’application NoteTaker
manager du CD et de l’avoir lancée.

Avis important : ne connectez pas plus d’un appareil de ce type en même temps. Ils pourraient interférer l’un
avec l’autre.

Éviter les interférences avec l’utilisation d’une souris normale :

Lorsque le stylo n’est pas utilisé, il s’éteint automatiquement après 60
minutes. Il
est recommandé de le placer comme sur l’illustration lorsqu’il n’est pas
utilisé afin d’éviter d’interférer avec le fonctionnement de la souris
habituelle.

Installation du logiciel NoteTaker

1. Insérez le CD d’installation dans votre lecteur de CD-ROM. Le programme d’installation devrait démarrer
automatiquement. Dans le cas contraire, lancez le programme en sélectionnant « Exécuter » dans le menu
« Démarrer » de Windows et tapez D:\setup.exe. Si votre lecteur de CD est identifié par une lettre différente,
tapez cette lettre à la place de D.

2. Suivez les instructions qui apparaissent à l’écran.

3. Une fois l’installation terminée, l’installation automatique du pilote commencera. Veuillez suivre les étapes du
processus.

4. Après le processus d’installation, lorsque vous exécutez l’application pour la première fois, un nouveau dossier
nommé « Mes Notes » sera créé dans votre dossier « Mes Documents ». Toutes vos notes seront sauvegardées
dans ce dossier. Au cas où le dossier « Mes Documents » serait introuvable, le processus d’installation créera un
nouveau dossier « Mes Documents » sur votre unité de disque dur C. Le dossier « Mes Notes » sera alors créé
dans ce dossier. Si vous désinstallez, mettez à jour ou réinstallez le logiciel à un autre emplacement, les fichiers
de notes resteront dans ce dossier et ne seront pas écrasés.

Téléchargement de notes sur votre ordinateur

Lorsque vous êtes en mode en ligne, vous pouvez télécharger toutes vos notes de la mémoire vers votre ordinateur à
l’aide de l’application logicielle NoteTaker. Avant cela, veillez d’abord à ce que :

·l’application logicielle soit exécutée sur votre ordinateur ;

·Votre mémoire soit connectée au port USB de votre PC via son câble USB.

L’icône de témoin suivant s’affichera sur le LCD de votre mémoire au cours de la connexion USB.

Pour télécharger les notes :

1. Démarrer le NoteTaker Manager.

2. Dans le menu « Fichier », sélectionnez « Télécharger ». Toutes les notes de la mémoire seront téléchargées

dans votre ordinateur.

3. À la fin du processus, un message apparaîtra demandant si vous voulez supprimer toutes les notes de la

mémoire.

·Sélectionnez « Oui » pour effacer toutes les notes de la mémoire.

·Sélectionnez « Non » pour conserver les notes.

REMARQUE :

· Si vous avez sélectionné « Non », la prochaine fois que vous téléchargerez des notes sur votre ordinateur, les notes
déjà téléchargées ne le seront plus.
Toutefois, si vous supprimez ces notes de l’application dans l’ordinateur et que vous les téléchargez à nouveau de la
mémoire, elles seront à nouveau téléchargées.

· Vous pouvez sélectionner une de ces trois options à exécuter automatiquement lorsque votre unité de base Mobile
NoteTaker est connectée. L’option suivante peut être sélectionnée dans le menu « Configuration  Préférences »
dans Note Manager.

Options de téléchargement automatique des nouvelles notes :

·OUI – Vos notes mobiles seront automatiquement téléchargées chaque fois que vous
connectez l’appareil à votre ordinateur ;

·NON – Vos notes mobiles ne seront pas téléchargées. Dans cette option, vous devez

exécuter manuellement cette action en sélectionnant le menu « Fichier Télécharger »
dans Note Manager ;

·ME DEMANDER – Chaque fois que vous connectez votre unité de base Mobile NoteTaker, on vous

demandera si vous voulez télécharger vos notes

Mode de fonctionnement du stylo numérique

Lorsqu’il est connecté à un ordinateur, NoteTaker supporte un mode note et un mode souris.
En mode note, écrire avec un stylo numérique sur un papier créera une note dans l’application NoteTaker.
En mode souris, le stylo numérique fonctionne comme une souris avec des fonctions comme le glissement, les
clics gauche et droite. Le bouton de clic se trouve sur le corps du stylo. Normalement, les applications à encre
numérique activée telles que Microsoft Journal, les applications Vista à encre numérique, Office 2007, doivent être
utilisées dans ce mode.

La sélection du mode par défaut peut être effectuée de 2 manières :
a. la première fois que vous lancez votre application NoteTaker ;
b. en utilisant le menu « Configuration » du NoteTaker (« Régler en mode stylo numérique »).

Le changement de mode pendant le fonctionnement peut être effectué de 3 manières :

a. en appuyant sur le bouton supérieur (bouton « ON/OFF ») de l’unité de base ;
b. en cliquant avec le bouton droit sur l’icône « NoteTaker » de la zone de notification, et en changeant le mode ;
c. en cliquant sur la zone virtuelle avec votre stylo.

Note : À chaque changement de mode, un ballon surgira pour indiquer le mode actuel et le DEL correspondant
s’illuminera.

En mode souris, votre stylo numérique se comportera comme une souris avec les fonctions suivantes :

● Pour déplacer le curseur de la souris, vous pouvez glisser avec le stylo.
Pour commencer à glisser, vous pouvez appuyer sur le bouton latéral ou pointer le stylo sur le papier. Le
stylo glissera alors même sans appuyer pendant 30 secondes.

● Pour cliquer sur un objet, pointez le curseur de votre souris sur cet objet. Pointez maintenant le stylo sur

le papier ou cliquez sur le bouton latéral.

● Pour double-cliquer sur un objet, pointez le curseur de votre souris sur cet objet. Pointez maintenant
deux fois le stylo sur le papier ou cliquez deux fois sur le bouton latéral.

● Pour cliquer avec le bouton droit sur un objet, pointez le curseur de votre souris sur cet objet. Appuyez
maintenant la pointe du stylo un peu plus longtemps sur le papier. Un curseur spécial « clic de bouton
droit » apparaîtra.
Levez le stylo du papier et le menu contextuel (menu disponible à partir du bouton droit) apparaîtra.

Création de notes

À partir du moment où vous écrivez ou dessinez avec votre stylo numérique, une fenêtre de note apparaît sur votre
écran qui reflète tout ce que vous écrivez sur le papier fixé à l’unité de base. La barre d’outils de la fenêtre de notes vous
permet d’exécuter diverses fonctions de base telles que sauvegarder, éditer, envoyer et copier vos notes pendant que
vous écrivez ou dès que vous avez fini d’écrire.

REMARQUE : Pendant que vous écrivez, veillez à ne pas bloquer avec votre main la ligne de vue entre le stylo et
l’unité de base. Lorsque la ligne de vue est bloquée, le NoteTaker ne fonctionnera pas correctement.

Lorsque vous avez terminé votre note, utilisez les autres boutons de la barre d’outils pour sauvegarder votre note dans
un fichier image, pour l’envoyer par e-mail, pour l’imprimer ou tout simplement pour la sauvegarder dans la fenêtre de
votre Note Manager afin d’y revenir plus tard.

Utilisation de note manager

Note Manager peut être utilisé pour l’enregistrement, la visualisation, la recherche, la copie, l’exportation et l’envoi des
notes par e-mail.
Pour des informations détaillées sur note manager, reportez-vous au manuel d’instructions sur le CD.

Utilisation de Mobile NoteTaker dans les applications à encre numérique de Microsoft Windows Vista

Le Mobile NoteTaker vous permet d’utiliser les applications à encre numérique de Windows Vista telles que Journal
et Sticky notes et également d’ajouter des notes à encre numérique dans les applications Office 2007.
Assurez-vous que l’icône de la souris sur l’écran LCD de l’unité de base est activée. Inutile d’exécuter
l’application NoteTaker pour le moment. Le stylo fonctionne en mode stylo-tablet.
Commencez à glisser sur le papier. Vérifiez la zone de couverture. Une zone de couverture signifie la taille du carré
« imaginaire » sur le papier qui couvre toute la zone de l’écran (entre les 4 coins).

Utilisation du stylo NoteTaker dans Journal

(1) Exécutez Windows Journal
(2) Commencez à écrire sur le papier tout en regardant l’écran

son extrémité. Lorsque vous tapez dessus, il apparaît à l’écran. Vous pouvez écrire des phrases ou des lettres
individuelles et il reconnaîtra automatiquement l’écriture manuscrite : mot par mot ou lettre par lettre.

Panoramica

Mobile NoteTaker è in grado di catturare qualsiasi annotazione scritta a mano o disegno da un foglio di carta e di
memorizzarli nella propria memoria Flash interna. Le note acquisite possono essere caricate sul computer tramite
l'interfaccia USB. È veramente utile quando ci si trova lontani dal computer e si deve annotare qualcosa di interessante
o di importante.

Mobile NoteTaker è composto da una penna digitale e da una piccola unità di ricezione che combina le tecnologie a
ultrasuoni e a infrarossi con algoritmi sofisticati che permettono una registrazione accurata e un sistema di rilevamento
della posizione che registra i movimenti della punta della penna su qualsiasi superficie e li converte in un'immagine
vettoriale della calligrafia dell'utente. La penna digitale trasmette la scrittura all'unità di ricezione per il salvataggio.

Nei capitoli seguenti vengono descritte nei dettagli le funzionalità hardware e software del dispositivo. Prima di
utilizzare il dispositivo, leggere la Guida rapida dell'utente. Per informazioni dettagliate sul dispositivo, consultare il
Manuale utente incluso sul CD fornito insieme al pacchetto, nel quale vengono illustrate alcune funzioni utili.

Per attivare l'inchiostro digitale non è necessaria alcuna installazione in Vista e in Office 2007.

Informazioni sulla penna digitale

La penna digitale può essere usata con qualsiasi unità di ricezione come Mobile NoteTaker e PC Notes Taker. È un

dispositivo unico che cattura le annotazioni scritte a mano su un foglio di carta normale e le trasmette all'unità di base.

AVVERTENZA:

Non cercare di aprire la penna digitale poiché potrebbe danneggiarsi e non funzionare

più correttamente.

AVVISO IMPORTANTE:

Quando si scrive con la penna digitale, mantenere un'inclinazione rispetto alla superficie della carta compresa tra 45°
e 90°.

Non tenere la penna in una posizione tale da bloccare i segnali inviati dalla punta all'unità ricevitore.

 Installazione/sostituzione di una cartuccia di inchiostro nella penna

L'estremità del cappuccio della penna funziona anche come estrattore per la cartuccia di inchiostro. Non è
necessaria nessuna cartuccia di inchiostro speciale, si può utilizzare una comune cartuccia standard.

NOTA: Utilizzare una cartuccia simile all'originale (cartuccia standard: 67,2 mm di lunghezza x 2,33 mm di
diametro).

Posizionare la cartuccia al centro
dell'estrattore. Tenere la penna saldamente e
applicarvi una pressione con l'estrattore.

Questo avviso appare continuamente su ogni nuova nota e nella barra delle applicazioni l'icona
dell'applicazione cambia in modo da riflettere lo stato corrente finché la batteria non viene
sostituita.

Informazioni sull'unità di base

Mobile NoteTaker è un dispositivo unico che cattura le annotazioni scritte a mano, le salva e le carica sul computer.

Mobile NoteTaker è in grado di acquisire e memorizzare oltre 100 pagine del formato A4.
Tramite il display LCD l'utente può sapere il numero di pagina corrente, lo stato di carica della batteria e la modalità di
lavoro attuale.

A casa o in ufficio l'utente può collegare Mobile NoteTaker al PC tramite il cavo USB, quindi caricare e gestire le note
salvate.

 Reset dell'unità
L'unità dispone di un pulsante RESET sul retro che serve per resettare l'unità quando non risponde ai comandi. Per

 Caricamento della batteria

L'unità di base è dotata di una batteria ricaricabile. Non sono necessarie batterie esterne. Quando la batteria è scarica,
ricaricare la batteria collegando il dispositivo al computer tramite la connessione USB.

 Montaggio dell'unità di base sulla carta

È possibile montare l'unità di base in 3 posizioni su un foglio di carta.
Le immagini seguenti illustrano il modo per montare l'unità di base, a seconda della posizione consigliata.

A. Il montaggio dell'unità di base in posizione centrale sul bordo superiore della carta è consigliato per l'uso di un

singolo foglio:

 Collegamento al computer

Collegando il dispositivo a un computer è possibile scaricare le annotazioni dall'unità di base su un computer, lavorare
in modalità online e aggiornare il firmware. Per collegare il dispositivo al computer, utilizzare il cavo USB incluso.
(NOTA: usare solo il cavo USB fornito nella confezione).

Avvertenza:
NON spostare o capovolgere l'unità di base quando è in uso. Fissarla sul bordo della carta rivolta verso l'alto.
Se si sposta o si capovolge l'unità, potrebbero verificarsi tratti di scrittura mischiati o errori fatali.

Note scritte a mano

Mobile NoteTaker Pro offre due modalità di lavoro: la modalità offline e la modalità online per acquisire annotazioni
scritte a mano o disegni.

 Modalità offline

La modalità offline permette di catturare e memorizzare importanti annotazioni
durante riunioni, conferenze o lezioni.

Tenere premuto il pulsante ON/OFF per accendere l'unità.

g. Tenere l'unità di base e premere delicatamente tutti i fermagli per la carta.

h.

Far scivolare l'unità di base sul bordo superiore del foglio di carta e assicurarsi che
sia nel centro.

i.

Prendere la penna digitale e cominciare a scrivere. (NOTA: non tenere la penna in
una posizione tale da bloccare i segnali inviati dalla punta all'unità ricevitore).

j.

Dopo avere completato una pagina, premere brevemente il pulsante ON/OFF per salvare la pagina corrente e

iniziare una nuova pagina. Sullo schermo dell'unità di base si può vedere il numero di pagina aumentato di uno.
Tutte le note sono memorizzate nell'unità di base. È possibile caricarle su un PC per visualizzarle, modificarle o inviarle
per e-mail.

 Modalità online
Mobile NoteTaker Pro funziona anche quando è collegato al PC, ossia in modalità
online.

Nella modalità online è possibile caricare le note dall'unità di base al PC,
scrivere annotazioni o tracciare disegni con la penna digitale esattamente come
nella modalità offline.

La penna digitale agisce anche come un mouse, con funzionalità di attivazione al
passaggio del mouse, pulsante destro e sinistro. Inoltre, sono disponibili alcune
funzioni speciali da utilizzare soltanto nella modalità online. Queste funzioni sono
descritte dettagliatamente nei capitoli successivi.

Prima di collegare il dispositivo a un PC, verificare che sia stata installata l'applicazione di gestione di NoteTaker
inclusa sul CD ed eseguirla.

Avviso importante: non collegare contemporaneamente più di un set di questo dispositivo, poiché
potrebbero interferire l'uno con l'altro.

Evitare le interferenze quando si usa un normale mouse:

Quando la penna non viene utilizzata si spegne automaticamente dopo 60
minuti. Si
consiglia di riporre la penna come mostrato quando non viene utilizzata per
evitare che interagisca con il funzionamento di un normale mouse.

Installazione del software NoteTaker

1. Inserire il CD di installazione nell'unità CD-ROM. Il programma di configurazione dovrebbe avviarsi
automaticamente. In caso contrario, eseguire il programma selezionando "Esegui" dal menu "Start" di Windows e
digitare D:\setup.exe. Se l'unità del CD utilizza un'altra lettera, digitarla al posto di D.

2. Seguire le istruzioni sullo schermo.

3. Dopo avere completato l'installazione, verrà avviata automaticamente l'installazione del driver. Seguire le
istruzioni fornite durante questa procedura.

4. Dopo la procedura di installazione, quando si esegue l'applicazione per la prima volta, verrà creata una nuova
cartella denominata “My Notes” (Le mie note) nella directory "Documenti". Tutte le annotazioni verranno salvate
in questa directory. Se non viene trovata la directory "Documenti", la procedura di installazione crea una nuova
cartella "Documenti" sul disco fisso C. La cartella ‘My Notes’ (Le mie note) verrà quindi creata in questa directory.
Se si disinstalla, si aggiorna o si reinstalla il software in un'altra posizione, i file delle note resteranno in questa
directory e non verranno sovrascritti.

Caricamento delle annotazioni sul PC

In modalità online è possibile caricare tutte le annotazioni dall'unità di memoria al PC usando l'applicazione NoteTaker.
Prima di procedere, verificare quanto segue:

L'applicazione è aperta sul PC

L'unità di memoria è collegata alla porta USB del computer tramite il rispettivo cavo USB
Durante la connessione tramite USB, sul display LCD dell'unità di memoria viene visualizzata la seguente icona di
indicazione.

Per caricare le note:

1. Avviare NoteTaker Manager.

2. Nel menu ‘File’ selezionare ‘Upload’. Tutte le note contenute nell'unità di memoria vengono caricate sul PC.

3. Al termine del processo compare un messaggio con la richiesta se si desidera eliminare tutte le note dall'unità di
memoria.

·Selezionare ‘Yes’ per cancellare tutte le note dall'unità di memoria.

·Selezionare ‘NO’ per conservare le note.

NOTA:

·Quando si seleziona ‘NO’, la volta successiva che si caricano queste note, già caricate in precedenza sul PC, esse non
verranno caricate.

Tuttavia, se si eliminano le note dall'applicazione sul PC e quindi si caricano nuovamente dall'unità di memoria, le note
verranno nuovamente caricate.

·Quando l'unità di base Mobile NoteTaker è collegata, è possibile selezionare una delle tre opzioni da eseguire
automaticamente. In Note Manager, nel menu ‘Configuration -->Preferences’ (Configurazione --> Preferenze) sono

disponibili le seguenti opzioni.

Opzioni per il caricamento automatico delle nuove note:

·YES – Le annotazioni sul dispositivo mobile verranno caricate automaticamente ogni volta che ci si collega al
computer.

· NO – Le annotazioni sul dispositivo mobile non verranno caricate. Con questa opzione è necessario eseguire
l'azione manualmente selezionando il menu ‘File -->Upload’ in Note Manager

· ASK ME (CHIEDIMI) – Ogni volta che si collega l'unità di base di Mobile NoteTaker, verrà di chiesto all'utente
se si desidera caricare le note.

Modalità operativa della penna digitale

Quando è collegato al PC, NoteTaker supporta una modalità Note e una modalità Mouse.
Nella modalità Note, quando si scrive su un foglio di carta con la penna digitale verrà creata una nota di input da

penna all'interno dell'applicazione NoteTaker.
Nella modalità Mouse, la penna digitale agisce anche come un mouse, con funzionalità di attivazione al passaggio
del mouse, pulsante destro e sinistro. Il pulsante per fare clic si trova sulla penna. Generalmente le applicazioni
abilitate alla modalità Ink (input da penna), come Microsoft Journal, applicazioni Ink di Vista, Office 2007,
dovrebbero essere usate in questa modalità.

Per selezionare la modalità predefinita, si può procedere in 2 modi:
a. La prima volta che si avvia l'applicazione NoteTaker

OPPURE

b. Tramite il menu ‘Configuration’ (Configurazione) in NoteTaker (opzione ‘Set Digital Pen Mode’: Imposta

modalità della penna digitale)

Per cambiare la modalità durante il funzionamento, si può procedere in 3 modi:

a. Premere il pulsante in alto sull'unità di base (pulsante ‘ON/OFF’)

OPPURE

b. Fare clic con il pulsante destro del mouse sull'icona ‘NoteTaker’ nella barra delle applicazioni e cambiare la

modalità
OPPURE

c. Fare clic sull'area virtuale usando la penna.

Nota: ogni volta che si cambia la modalità, compare un riquadro che indica la modalità corrente e si accende il LED
corrispondente.

Nella modalità Mouse, la penna digitale si comporta come un mouse con le seguenti funzionalità:

● Per spostare il cursore del mouse è possibile attivare una selezione al passaggio del mouse con la penna. Per
avviare la funzione di attivazione al passaggio del mouse è possibile premere il pulsante laterale o la punta della

penna sulla carta. Ora per circa 20 secondi è abilitata la funzione di attivazione al passaggio del mouse anche senza
premere la penna.

● Per fare clic su un oggetto, posizionare il cursore del mouse sull'oggetto. Ora premere la punta della penna sulla
carta o fare clic sul pulsante laterale.

● Per fare doppio clic su un oggetto, posizionare il cursore del mouse sull'oggetto. Ora premere due volte la
punta della penna sulla carta o fare clic due volte sul pulsante laterale.

● Per fare clic con il pulsante destro del mouse su un oggetto, posizionare il cursore del mouse sull'oggetto. Ora premere
la punta della penna un po' più a lungo sulla carta. Apparirà un cursore speciale per il "clic con il pulsante destro".

Sollevare la penna dal foglio e verrà visualizzato il menu contestuale (menu del pulsante destro del mouse).

Creazione di annotazioni

Quando si comincia a scrivere o a disegnare con la penna digitale, sullo schermo viene aperta una finestra Note che
riflette qualunque cosa venga scritta sul foglio di carta fissato all'unità di base. La barra degli strumenti della finestra
Note permette di eseguire varie funzioni di base, come operazioni di salvataggio, modifica, invio e copia delle
annotazioni mentre si scrive o dopo avere finito di scrivere.

NOTA: mentre si scrive, accertarsi di non bloccare con la mano la linea della visuale tra la penna e l'unità di base.
Quando la linea della visuale è bloccata, NoteTaker non funziona correttamente.

Una volta terminato di scrivere l'annotazione, utilizzare gli altri pulsanti della barra degli strumenti per salvare la nota in
un file di immagine, inviarla per e-mail, stamparla o salvarla semplicemente nella finestra Note Manager per un uso
successivo.

Uso di Note Manager

Note Manager permette di salvare, visualizzare, cercare, copiare, esportare e inviare per e-mail le annotazioni.
Per informazioni dettagliate su Note Manager, consultare il manuale di istruzioni fornito sul CD.

Uso di Mobile NoteTaker con applicazioni Ink di Microsoft Windows Vista

Mobile NoteTaker permette di utilizzare le applicazioni Ink di Windows Vista come Journal, Sticky Notes e inoltre di
aggiungere Ink Notes nelle applicazioni Office 2007. Controllare che l'icona del mouse sia attiva sul display LCD
dell'unità di base. Non è necessario aprire l'applicazione Note Taker, poiché la penna funziona nella modalità
tavoletta. Avviare la funzione di attivazione al passaggio del mouse sulla carta. Controllare l'area di copertura.
L'area di copertura è il quadrato "immaginario" sulla carta che ricopre l'intera area dello schermo (inclusa tra 4
angoli).

Uso della penna NoteTaker in Journal

(1) Aprire Windows Journal.
(2) Cominciare a scrivere sul foglio di carta guardando lo schermo.
(3) È possibile usare anche ulteriori funzioni, come cerchiare un testo (funzione Lasso accanto alla gomma per

cancellare) e richiedere il riconoscimento nella directory a discesa Actions (Azioni). È possibile inoltre cancellare i
testi, evidenziarli ed altro ancora.

Uso della penna NoteTaker in MS-Word 2007

(1) Aprire un file di Microsoft Word 2007.

Nella barra degli strumenti Ink (da impostare manualmente), scegliere la penna rossa. Sono disponibili varie
opzioni di input da penna. È possibile annotare o scrivere in Word.

Aprire i commenti di input penna (penna blu su sfondo giallo nella barra degli strumenti di input penna). Sul
lato destro viene aperto un riquadro. Utilizzarlo per scrivere i propri commenti.

In ogni applicazione di Office è disponibile sul lato sinistro un pannello di immissione per Tablet PC, di cui è
visibile sono la parte finale. Toccandolo, verrà visualizzato sullo schermo. È possibile scrivere una frase o singole
lettere e la calligrafia verrà riconosciuta automaticamente: parola per parola o lettera per lettera.

Commento: se il mouse si ferma in un determinato momento, battere una volta sulla carta con la cartuccia. In
questo modo la penna uscirà dalla modalità di inattività.

La durata della garanzia con un utilizzo corretto del prodotto corrisponde a 24 mesi a partire dalla data di acquisto.
Conservi lo scontrino e l'imballaggio originale. La garanzia viene applicata esclusivamente in caso di difetti del materiale o
di fabbricazione, non per danni provocati a parti fragili, come ad esempio il telaio. Non verranno sostituiti apparecchi
danneggiati sulle parti esterne a causa di un utilizzo non conforme. La garanzia scade quando vengono eseguite
riparazioni senza l'espressa autorizzazione del nostro Servizio Clienti.

Le riparazioni in garanzia possono avere luogo solo dietro presentazione dello scontrino di acquisto. La preghiamo di

Vision General

El NoteTaker Movil es capaz a captar cualquier notas manuscritas o dibujos en papel liso y grabarlos en su memoria
Flash interna. Notas captadas pueden ser cargadas a PC a traves de su interfaz USB. Realmente ayuda cuando estas
lejos de tu computadora y necesitas a captar algun reflexion de repente o importantes puntos.
El NoteTaker Movil consiste de una pluma digital y un receptor minisculo que combina las tecnologias de ultrasonida y
infrarroja con algoritmos sofisticados, para habilitar una sistema precisa de seguimiento y posicionamiento de la punta de
la pluma en cualquier superficie, y lo transforma su movimiento en un imagen vectorizado de la letra del usario. La pluma
digital transmite manuscritos al receptor para almacenaje.
Los siguientes capitulos se describiran en detalle las caracteristicas del hardware y software de este producto. Lees la
Guia Rapida de Usuarios antes de encenderlo. Para informacion detallada sobre el dispositivo, por favor lees el manual

Sobre La Pluma Digital

La pluma digital se utiliza con cualquier de los receptores como NoteTaker Movil y PC NotesTaker. Es un

dispositivo unico que capta notas manuscritas en papel liso y transmitalos al unidad fondo.

Cuando escribes con la pluma digital, asegurese de que su inclinacion al superficie del papel esta
entre 45 y 90

 Instalando/Sustituyendo un Recambio de Tinta en la Pluma

El punto del tapon tambien funciona como un extractor para el recambio de tinta. Ningun recambio de tinta especial
es necesario.

AVISO: Asegurese de que usas un recambio parecido al original (recambio estandar: 67.2mm larga × 2.33mm en

diametro).

Esta advertencia es constantemente mostrada en cada nueva nota y el icono de aplicacion en la bandeja de
sistema se cambie para mostrar la situacion actual hasta las pilas se sustituiran.

(4) La vida de las pilas puede variar y no puede ser garantizada. Pilas suministradas son buenas solamente
para uso inicial.

El NoteTaker Movil es un dispositivo unico que capta notas manuscritas, guarda notas y carguenlos al PC.

La unidad fondo tiene una incorporada pila recargable. Ninguna pila externa es necesario. Cuando la pila esta

agotada, solo recargas la pila conectando el dispositivo al PC con la conexion USB.

 Montando tu Unidad Fondo a Papel

Tu unidad fondo puede ser montado en 3 posiciones en cima de papel.
Las siguientes imagenes ilustran la forma como puedes montar tu unidad fondo, segun al posicion

recomendable.

A. Montando tu unidad fondo en cima y arriba del papel es

recomendable para uso de solo una hoja:

B. Montando tu unidad fondo en cima de la esquina izquierda de un

bloque de papel es recomendable para los usuarios diestros.

C. Montando tu unidad fondo en cima de la esquina derecha de un bloque

de papel es recomendable para los usuarios zurdos.

 Conectando al PC

Puedes cargar notas desde la unidad fondo al PC, trabajar en linea y modernizar firmware conectando el
dispositivo al PC. Utilizas la cable USB incluido para conectar el dispositivo al PC. (AVISO: Solo utilizas la cable USB
incluido en la paquete.)

Advertencia:
NO MUEVAS O VOLCAS la unidad fondo cuando lo usas. Posicionalo encime de la margen del papel mirando al
frente. Moviendolo o volcandolo puede resultar en pinceladas malas o otros errores letales.

Tomando notas manuscritas

El NoteTaker Pro Movil ofrece dos modos de trabajar: Fuera de linea y En linea para tomar notas manuscritas o
dibujos.

 Modo Fuera de linea
El modo Fuera de Linea posibilitas a captar y guardar notas importantes en reuniones, congresos o sermones.

a. Apretas y sujetas el boton INICIAR/APAGAR para iniciar el dispositivo.
b. Sujetas la unidad fondo y suavemente apretas todas las sujetapapeles juntas.
c. Deslizas la unidad fondo en la alta margen del papel y asegurese que la unidad fondo esta en el centro.
d. Recoges la pluma digital y empiesas a escribir. (AVISO: Tengas cuidado a sujetar la pluma en una forma
que no se bloquee señales enviado desde la punta de la pluma al receptor.)
e. Cuando hayas terminado una hoja, brevemente apretas el boton INICIAR/APAGAR para guardar la hoja
actual y empezar una nueva hoja. En la pantalla de la unidad fondo, lo puedes ver el numero de hojas haya
sumado.
Todas las notas son guardadas en la unidad fondo. Puedes cargarlos al PC para mirar, edicion o correo.

 Modo En Linea

El NoteTaker Pro Movil tambien se funciona cuando esta conectado con un PC, que es llamado Modo En Linea.

En este modo, puedes cargar tus notas de la unidad fondo al PC, escribir notas o dibujar imagenes con la pluma
digital lo mismo como puedes en modo Fuera de Linea.

La pluma digital es capaz a funcionar como un Mouse con caracteristicas como Hover y haz click a la izquierda
y derecha. Adicionalmente, hay algunas caracteristicas especiales que solo pueden funcionar en Modo En
Linea. Esos caracteristicas se describiran en detalle en los siguientes capitulos.

Antes de conectas el dispositivo al PC, primero asegurese que instalas el NoteTaker Manager programa incluido

en el CD y lo inicias.

AVISO IMPORTANTE: No conectas mas de un juego de este dispositivo simultaneamente. Se puede causar
interferencia unos con otros.

Evitas la interferencia mientras usas un Mouse normal:

Cuando la pluma no esta en uso se apagara automaticamente despues de 60 minutos. Es
recomendable que mientras no esta en uso, posicionas la pluma como es mostrado aqui, para
evitar la interferencia con el funcionamiento de un Mouse normal.

Instalando el software del NoteTaker

1. Insertas la CD de instalacion en tu CD-ROM. La programa de instalacion debe iniciar automaticamente. Si no,
inicias la programa seleccionando ‘Inicio’ del Menu Windows y escribir D:\setup.exe. Si tu unidad CD usas una
letra del alfabeto diferente, usas esa letra en lugar de D.

2. Sigues las instrucciones en la pantalla.

3. Una vez que la instalacion se completa, instalacion automatica de controladores se iniciara. Por favor, sigues

las instrucciones durante este proceso.

4. Despues del proceso, mientras ejecutas la programa por la primera vez, una nueva carpeta llamada “Mis
Notas”, se crea en tu directorio de “Mis Documentos”. Todas tus notas se guardaran en este directorio. En el
caso que ningun directorio de “Mis Documentos” se encuentra, el proceso de instalacion creara una nueva
carpeta de “Mis Documentos” en tu disco duro C. La carpeta “Mis Notas” se creara en este directorio. Si lo
desinstales, modernizas o reinstales el software en otro lugar, los archivos de notas seguira siendo en este
directorio, y no sera sobreescrito.

Cargando Notas a tu PC

Cuando estas en Modo En Linea, puedes cargar todas tus notas desde la memoria hasta tu PC usando la

aplicacion de software NoteTaker. Antes de hacerlo, asegurese que:

·Tu aplicacion de PC software esta funcionando

·Tu memoria esta conectada a tu PC con la cable USB a su puerto USB.
La siguiente indicador se mostrara en la pantalla LCD de tu unidad de memoria durante conexion al USB.

Para cargar notas:

a. Inicias el NoteTaker Manager.
b. En el menu “Archivos”, selecciones “Cargar”. Todas las notas en tu unidad de memoria estan cargados a tu PC.
c. Al fin del proceso, un mensaje parece preguntando si deseas a borrar todas las notas en la unidad de memoria.

·Seleccionas “Si” para borrar todas las notas en tu unidad de memoria.

·Seleccionas “No” para conservar todas las notas.

AVISO:

· Cuando seleccionas “NO”, la proxima vez que cargas esas notas que ya estan cargadas a tu PC no se cargara.
Sin embargo, si borras notas desde la aplicacion de tu PC y despues cargarlos otra vez desde a unidad de memoria,
las notas se cargara de nuevo.

· Puedes seleccionar uno de tres opciones que deben realizarse automaticamente cuando tu unidad fondo NoteTaker
Movil esta conectada. El siguiente se pueden seleccionar en el menu ‘ConfiguracionPreferencias’ dentro de Note
Manager.

Opciones para cargar nuevas notas automaticamente:

·SI - Tus Notas Moviles se cargara automaticamente cada vez que lo conectas a tu PC.

·NO - Tus Notas Moviles no se cargara. En este opcion, tendra que realizar este accion manualmente
seleccionando ‘ArchivosCargar’ dentro del menu Note Manager.

·PREGUNTAME - Cada vez conectas tu unidad fondo NoteTaker Movil, se le pedira si deseas a cargar tus notas

Modo de Operacion de La Pluma Digital

Cuando esta conectada al PC, NoteTaker suporta un modo Nota y un modo Mouse.
En modo Nota, escribiendo en papel con la pluma digital se creara una nota de tinta dentro de la aplicacion NoteTaker.
En modo Mouse, la pluma digital actua como un Mouse con caracteristicas como Hover, y haz click a la izquierda y
derecha. El boton click se encuentra incorporado en la pluma. Normalmente, aplicaciones que se facilitan con tinta como
Microsoft Journal, apliaciones de tinta para Vista, y Office 2007 deben ser usados en este modo.

Seleccionando modo defecto

podria ser hecho en dos formas:
a. En la primera vez que usas tu aplicacion NoteTaker
b. Usando el menu ‘Configuracion’ de NoteTaker (Fijar el modo Pluma Digital)

Cambiando modos

durante operacion podria ser hecho en tres formas:
a. Apretas el boton INICIAR/APAGAR de la unidad fondo
b. Haz click derecha a icono de bandeja NoteTaker, y cambies el modo
c. Haciendo click en la area virtual usando tu pluma

AVISO: En cada cambio de modo, un globo aparecera indicando el modo actual y la LED correspondiente se iluminara.

En modo Mouse, tu pluma digital comporta como un Mouse con el siguiente funcionalidad:

 Para mover tu cursor, puedes permanecer inmovil con la pluma. Para empezarlo, puedes apretar el boton al lado

o apuntar la pluma en el papel. La pluma ahora se permanezca inmovil y llano con ninguna presion por mas o
menos 30 segundos.

 Para hacer click en un icono, apuntas tu cursor encima de ese icono. Ahora apuntas la pluma en el papel o haz

click con el boton al lado.

 Para hacer doble-click en un icono, apuntas tu cursor encima de ese icono. Ahora apuntas la pluma en el papel o

haz click con el boton al lado dos veces.

 Para hacer click-derecha en un icono, apuntas tu cursor encima de ese icono. Ahora apuntas la punta de la pluma

un poco mas en el papel. Un cursor ‘Click Derecha’ especial aparecera. Levantas la pluma desde el papel, y el
menu ‘Click Derecha’ aparecera.

Creando Notas

El momento que empiezas a escribir o dibujar con tu pluma digital, una Ventana Nota se aparece en tu pantalla que
refleja todo que escribes en el papel adjunto al unidad fondo. El toolbar Ventana Nota te permite a realizar varios
funciones basicos como guardando, edicion, enviando y copiando tus notas mientras escribes, o una vez que
terminas a escribir.

AVISO: Mientras escribes, asegurese que no bloquees la linea de vision entre la pluma y la unidad fondo con tu mano.
Cuando la linea de vision es bloqueado, el NoteTaker no funcionara bien.

Cuando terminas con tu nota, usas las otras botones del toolbar para guardar tu nota a un archivo de foto, enviarlo por
email, o solo guardarlo en tu ventana Note Manager por el futuro.

Usando el Note Manager

El Note Manager podria ser usada por guardando, visualizando, buscando, copiando, exportando y correo. Por

informacion detallado sobre el Note Manager, miras al Manual de Instrucciones incluido en el CD.

Usando el NoteTaker Movil en Microsoft Windows Vista Aplicaciones de Tinta

El NoteTaker Movil te permite a usar aplicaciones Windows Vista de tinta como Journal, Sticky-notes y tambien es

capaz a sumar Notas de Tinta en aplicaciones Office 2007.

Asegurese que el icono Mouse en el LCD de la unidad fondo esta encendido. No hay necesidad para operar la

aplicacion NoteTaker todavia. La pluma funciona en modo Tableta-Pluma.

Empieza a permanacer inmovil por encima del papel. Verificar la area de cobertura. Area de cobertura significa el

tamaño del cuadro “imaginario” en el papel que cubre la pantalla totalmente (entre las 4 esquinas).

Usando la Pluma en Journal

(1) Inicias Windows Journal
(2) Empiezas a escribir en el papel mientras miras a la pantalla
(3) Tu puedes usar algunas mas caracteristicas como rodear un texto con Lasso (al lado del borrador) y pedir

reconocimiento en el directorio de Acciones. Tambien puedes borrar, resaltar textos, etc.

Usando la Pluma NoteTaker en MS-Word 2007

(1) Abras un archivo de Microsoft Word 2007
(2) Desde el Toolbar de Tinta (debe ser ajustado manualmente) seleccionas la pluma roja. Varios opciones de

tinta se han abierto para ti. Puedes anotar o escribir en Word.

(3) Abras Comentario de Tinta-(pluma azul encima de amarillo en el toolbar de tinta) Un globo se ha abierto, en

el lado diestro. Usalo para comentarios manuscritos.

En cada aplicacion Office existe un panel de entrada por Tableta PC en el lado zurda. Lo puedes ver su extremo. Cuando
lo das golpecitas, se aparece en la pantalla. Tu puedes escribir oraciones o letras individuos y se los reconocen
automaticamente: palabra por palabra o letra por letra.

Comentario: Si en cualquier momento el Mouse se hace muerto, apuntas una vez en el papel con el recambio. Se
sacara la pluma fuera del modo dormante.

A következő fejezetekben részletesen bemutatjuk a készülék hardver- és szoftverfunkcióit. A használatba vétel
előtt olvassa el a gyors használatba vételi útmutatót. A készülékkel kapcsolatos részletes tájékoztatás a
csomaghoz mellékelt CD-n található használati útmutatóban olvasható, ez olyan hasznos funkciókra is felhívja a
figyelmet, amelyeket Ön talán nem ismer.

A digitális toll

A digitális toll bármilyen vevőegységgel használható (pl. Mobile NoteTaker és PC Notes Taker). Egyedülálló
eszköz, amely normál papírra kézírással tett megjegyzéseket rögzít, és az alapegységre továbbít.

FIGYELMEZTETÉS:

Ne próbálja meg felnyitni a digitális tollat. Ekkor a toll meghibásodhat.

FONTOS MEGJEGYZÉS:
Ha a digitális tollal ír, ügyeljen arra, hogy a papírhoz viszonyított dőlésszöge 45 fok és 90 fok között legyen. A
tollat tartsa úgy, hogy ne akadályozza a toll hegye által a vevőegységre sugárzott jelet.

Az írás minőségének javítása

Határozottan tartsa a tollat és

MEGJEGYZÉS: Ügyeljen arra, hogy az eredetihez hasonló tollbetétet használjon (szabványos betét: 67,2 mm

hosszú X 2,33 mm átmérőjű).

A Mobile NoteTaker egy egyedülálló eszköz, amely kézírással tett megjegyzéseket rögzít, tárol, és a számítógépre

A Mobile Note Taker több mint 100 A4-méretű oldal rögzítésére és tárolására képes.

Az LCD-kijelző segítségével leolvasható az aktuális oldalszám, az elem állapota és a pillanatnyi üzemmód.

 Csatlakoztatás a számítógépre

Az alapegységet a PC-re csatlakoztatva a jegyzeteket az alapegységről a számítógépre lehet másolni, on-line
módban lehet dolgozni, illetve frissíteni lehet a szoftvert. A készüléket a mellékelt USB-kábellel csatlakoztassa a
számítógéphez. (MEGJEGYZÉS: csak a dobozban található USB-kábelt használja.)

Figyelmeztetés:
Használat közben NE mozgassa vagy ne fordítsa meg az alapkészüléket. A tetejével felfelé rögzítse a papír
sarkához. Ha elmozdítja vagy megfordítja, az kusza tollvonásokat vagy más végzetes hibákat okozhat.

Kézírásos jegyzetek készítése

A Mobile NoteTaker két üzemmódban használható: off-line és on-line kézírás és rajzolás.

 Off-line mód

Off-line módban az értekezleteken vagy előadásokon írt jegyzeteket lehet rögzíteni és
tárolni.
a. A készülék bekapcsolásához nyomja meg és tartsa

nyomva az ON/OFF gombot.

b. Fogja meg az alapegységet és óvatosan nyomjon össze

minden papírcsipeszt.
c. Az alapegységet csúsztassa a papír felső szélébe és helyezze el középen.
d. Vegye kézbe a digitális tollat és kezdjen írni. (MEGJEGYZÉS: a tollat tartsa úgy, hogy ne akadályozza a toll

hegye által a vevőegységre sugárzott jelet.)

e. Ha befejezett egy oldalt, röviden nyomja meg az ON/OFF gombot. Ezzel az oldal tárolódik és új oldalt kezdhet

írni.

Az alapkészülék kijelzőjén látható az egyesével növekvő oldalszám.

Minden jegyzetet az alapkészülék tárol. Ezeket megtekintés, szerkesztés vagy e-mailhez csatolás céljából PC-re
lehet másolni.

 On-line mód

A Mobile NoteTaker a PC-hez csatlakoztatva is használható, ezt nevezzük on-line
módnak.

On-line módban a jegyzeteket az alapkészülékről a PC-re lehet tölteni, a digitális
tollal egyébként ugyanúgy kell írni és rajzolni, mint off-line-módban.
A digitális toll egérként is használható, „hover”, valamint jobb és bal
egérgomb-funkciókkal. Ezen felül, az on-line módban néhány speciális funkciót kell
használni.

A következő részben ezek részleteit mutatjuk be.

Mielőtt a készüléket a PC-re csatlakoztatná, telepítse a PC-re a dobozban mellékelt CD-n található NoteTaker
manager alkalmazást, és indítsa el.

Fontos megjegyzés: Egyidejűleg csak egy ilyen készüléket csatlakoztasson. Ellenkező esetben a
készülékek zavarhatják egymást.

Ügyeljen arra, hogy a normál egér használata ne okozzon zavarást.

Ha nem használja a tollat, akkor 60 perc múlva automatikusan
kikapcsolódik.

Javasoljuk, hogy ha nem használja a tollat, akkor az ábra szerint tárolja,
ezzel megelőzheti, hogy zavarja a normál egér működését.

A NoteTaker szoftver telepítése

1. A telepítő CD-t helyezze a CD ROM-meghajtóba. A telepítő programnak automatikusan el kell indulnia. Ha nem
így van, a Windows „Start” menüjében válassza a „Run” (Futtatás) parancsot és írja be a D:\setup.exe útvonalat.
Ha a CD-meghajtónak más betűjele van, a „D” helyére azt a betűt kell írni.

2. Kövesse a képernyőn megjelenő utasításokat.

3. A telepítés befejezése után a szoftver automatikusan telepíti a meghajtóprogramot. Hajtsa végre a folyamat
lépéseit.

4. A telepítés befejeződése után, a szoftver első indításakor a „My Documents” (Dokumentumok) könyvtárban egy
új „My Notes” (Jegyzeteim) mappa jön létre. Minden jegyzet ebbe a mappába fog kerülni. Ha a telepítő nem talál
„My Documents” (Dokumentumok) mappát, akkor létrehoz egyet a C meghajtón. A „My Notes” (Jegyzeteim) mappa
ezután ebben a mappában jön létre. Ha a szoftvert törli, későbbi újratelepítését vagy frissítését más útvonalon
végzi, a jegyzetfájlok ebben a mappában maradnak és nem íródnak felül.

Jegyzetek feltöltése a PC-re

On-line módban a jegyzeteket a NoteTaker szoftverrel a memóriaegységből a PC-re lehet feltölteni. Mielőtt ezt
megtenné, ellenőrizze a következőket:

- A PC-n fut a szoftver.

- A memóriaegység az USB-kábellel a PC USB-csatlakozójára csatlakozik.

Az USB-csatlakozás létrehozása után a memóriaegység LCD-kijelzőjén a következő ikon jelenik meg.

Jegyzetek feltöltése:

1. Indítsa el a NoteTaker Manager szoftvert.

2. A „File” (Fájl) menüben válassza az „Upload” (Feltöltés) menüpontot. A memóriaegységben tárolt minden
jegyzet a PC-re másolódik.

3. A folyamat végén egy üzenet jelenik meg, amely azt kérdezi, hogy a memóriaegységről törölni szeretné-e a
jegyzeteket.

A „Yes” (Igen) választásával minden jegyzet törlődik a memóriaegységről.

A „No” (Nem) választásával a jegyzetek a memóriaegységen maradnak.

MEGJEGYZÉS:

- A „NO” (Nem) választásával a következő alkalommal az előzőleg már feltöltött jegyzetek nem töltődnek fel
ismét a PC-re.
Ha azonban a PC-alkalmazásból töröl egyes jegyzeteket, és újra feltölti őket a memóriaegységből, akkor a jegyzetek
ismét feltöltődnek.

- Háromféle lehetőség közül lehet választani, amelyek automatikusan végrehajtódnak a Mobile NoteTaker
csatlakoztatása után. A Note Manager „Configuration”  „Preferences” (Konfiguráció  Testre szabás)
menüjében a következők választhatók.

Upload new notes automatically (Új jegyzetek automatikus feltöltése):

·YES (IGEN) – A jegyzetek minden csatlakoztatáskor automatikusan feltöltődnek a PC-re.

·NO (NEM) – A jegyzetek nem töltődnek fel. Ezt választva kézzel kell elvégezni a műveletet a Note Manager

„File  Upload”’ (Fájl  Feltöltés) menüpontjának végrehajtásával.

·ASK ME (KÉRDEZZEN RÁ) – A számítógép a Mobile NoteTaker alapegység minden csatlakoztatásakor
megkérdezi, hogy kívánja-e feltölteni a jegyzeteket.

A digitális toll üzemmódja

A PC-hez csatlakoztatva a NoteTaker a Note (Jegyzet) és a Mouse (Egér) üzemmódot használhatja.
Jegyzet módban a digitális tollal papírra írt jegyzet egy „Ink” jegyzetet hoz létre a NoteTaker alkalmazásban.
Egér üzemmódban a digitális toll egérként működik, „hover”, valamint jobb és bal egérgomb-funkciókkal. A bal
egérgomb a toll teste. Általában az Ink használatára képes alkalmazásokat, mint a Microsoft Journal, a Vista Ink
alkalmazásai, az Office 2007, ebben a módban kell használni.

A default mode (alapértelmezett mód) választása kétféleképpen történhet:

a. A NoteTaker alkalmazás első indításakor

VAGY

b. a NoteTaker „Configuration” (Konfigurálás) menüjében („Set Digital Pen Mode” – Digitális toll mód

beállítása).

Az üzemmódok váltását

használat közben háromféleképpen lehet végezni:

a. Nyomja meg az alapkészülék tetejét (ON/OFF gomb)

VAGY

b. a jobb gombbal kattintson a Tálca „NoteTaker” ikonjára és változtassa meg az üzemmódot

VAGY

c. a toll használatával kattintson a virtuális területre.

Megjegyzés: Minden üzemmód-váltáskor a pillanatnyi üzemmódot jelzı „buborék” jelenik meg, és a megfelelı

LED világít.

Egér üzemmódban a digitális toll egérként működik, a következő funkciókkal:

● A kurzor mozgatásához a toll „hover" funkciója használható.

A „hover” funkció indításához nyomja meg az oldalsó gombot vagy a toll
hegyével érintse meg a papírt. A „hover” funkció ezután kb. 30 percig
működik, azaz a kurzort úgy lehet mozgatni, hogy a toll hegye nem érinti a
papírt.

● A kattintás funkcióhoz vigye az egérmutatót a kívánt objektumra. Ezután

a tollheggyel érintse meg a papírt vagy nyomja meg az oldalsó gombot.

● A dupla kattintás funkcióhoz vigye az egérmutatót a kívánt objektumra.

Ezután a tollheggyel kétszer érintse meg a papírt vagy kétszer nyomja
meg az oldalsó gombot.

● A jobb kattintás funkcióhoz vigye az egérmutatót a kívánt objektumra. Ezután a tollhegyet kicsit
hosszabban nyomja a papírra. A speciális „jobb kattintás” egérmutató jelenik meg. A tollat emelje fel a

papírról, ekkor a tartalomérzékeny menü (jobb kattintás menü) jelenik meg.

Jegyzetek írása

Amint a tollal megkezdi az írást vagy a rajzolást, a képernyőn a jegyzetablak jelenik meg, és mutat mindent, ami az
alapegységbe csíptetett papírra kerül. A jegyzetablak eszközsorában írás közben vagy az írás befejezése után
különböző alapfunkciók végezhetők el, pl. mentés, szerkesztés, küldés és másolás.

MEGJEGYZÉS: írás közben ügyeljen arra, hogy a kezével ne akadályozza a rálátást a toll és az alapkészülék
között. Ha a rálátás akadályozott, akkor a NoteTaker nem megfelelıen mőködik.

Ha befejezte az írást vagy rajzolást, az eszközsor többi gombjával képfájlba mentheti a jegyzetet, e-mailben
elküldheti, kinyomtathatja, vagy a későbbi felhasználásra egyszerűen tárolhatja a Note Manager ablakában.

A jegyzetkezelı használata

A Note Manager a jegyzetek tárolására, megtekintésére, keresésére, másolására, exportálására és e-mailben való
elküldésére használható. A jegyzetkezelővel kapcsolatos további részleteket lásd a mellékelt CD-n található
használati útmutatóban.

A Mobile NoteTaker használata a Microsoft Windows Vista Ink alkalmazásokban

A Mobile NoteTaker alkalmas a Windows Vista Ink alkalmazások, pl. a Journal (újság), a Sticky notes
(emlékeztető cédula) használatára, valamint az Office 2007 alkalmazásaihoz is jegyzeteket lehet adni vele.
Ellenőrizze, hogy az alapegység LCD-kijelzőjén látható-e az egér-ikon. A NoteTaker alkalmazást még nem kell
elindítani. A toll a tábla PC-üzemmódban működik.
A tollat mozgassa a papír felett („hover”). Ellenőrizze a használható területet. A használható terület az a

„képzeletbeli” négyzet a papíron, amely lefedi a teljes képernyőterületet (a 4 sarok között).

A NoteTaker toll használata a Journal programban

(1) Indítsa el a Windows Journal programot.
(2) Kezdjen írni a papírra és közben nézze a képernyőt.

(3) Néhány további funkciót is használhat, mint szöveg bekarikázása a lasszóval (a törlés mellett), vagy a

felismerés kérése az Actions (Műveletek) legördülő menüben. Mód van a törlésre, szöveg kiemelésére
stb.

A NoteTaker toll használata az MS-Word 2007 programban

(1) Nyisson meg egy Microsoft Word 2007 fájlt.
(2) Az Ink eszközsorban (kézzel kell beállítani) válassza a piros tollat. Ezután többféle lehetőség nyílik meg.

Megjegyzéseket vagy szöveget írhat a Wordben.

(3) Nyissa meg a megjegyzés-lehetőséget (kék toll vagy sárga hegy az eszközsoron). Egy buborék jelenik

meg a jobb oldalon. Ide írhatja a kézírásos megjegyzéseket.

Minden Office alkalmazás bal oldali részén található a Tablet PC beviteli panel. Ennek csak a vége látható. Ha
rákoppint, a teljes felület megjelenik a képernyőn. Írhat mondatokat és egyedi betűket, a kézírás felismerése
automatikusan megtörténik: szóról szóra, vagy betűről betűre.

Megjegyzés: ha az egérfunkció nem működik, a tollbetéttel egyszer koppintson a papírra. Ekkor a toll

visszakapcsol az alvó üzemmódból.

A NoteTaker használata Mac rendszerben

 A NoteTaker for Mac szoftver telepítése

A NoteTaker for Mac telepítését a következő eljárással kell végezni.
(1) Kattintson a NoteTaker telepítő ikonjára (NoteTaker programcsoport). A NoteTaker telepítő programja nyílik meg

(standard Mac telepítő):

(2) Kattintson a Continue (Folytatás) gombra. A telepítő a telepítési hely kijelölését (Destination Selection) kéri. Ebben

a lépésben ki kell jelölni azt a helyet (általában a Mac merevlemez), ahova a NoteTaker szoftvert telepíteni szeretné.
A kívánt merevlemez kijelölése (rákattintás) után a telepítő nyugtázza a választást.

3. Kattintson a Continue (Folytatás) gombra. A telepítő a telepítési típus kijelölését (Installation Type) kéri. Ebben a
lépésben ki kell jelölni, hogy a NoteTaker szoftvert szokásos módon szeretné-e telepíteni a kijelölt merevlemezre.

Megjegyzések:
A szokásos telepítés közvetlenül a Mac merevlemezének Applications (Alkalmazások) mappájába telepíti a szoftvert.
Ha meg szeretné változtatni a szoftver telepítésének helyét, kattintson a Change Install Location (Telepítési hely
módosítása) gombra, ezután a telepítő visszatér az előző lépésre (Choose Destination Location).

4. Kattintson az Install (Telepítés) gombra. A Password (Jelszó) ablak jelenik meg.

5. Írja be a jelszavát és kattintson az OK gombra. A NoteTaker a kijelölt merevlemezre települ, és az Install Succeed

(Telepítés sikeres) üzenet jelenik meg a telepítő program ablakában.

6. A telepítés befejezéséhez és a telepítő program bezárásához kattintson a Close (Befejezés) gombra.

 A NoteTaker Preferences Tool (Testre szabás) használata
A NoteTaker Preferences Tool

Ha a digitális tollal ír szöveget, akkor minden szöveg TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) képek sorozataként tárolódik a
Mobile NoteTaker memóriájában. Mielőtt a szöveget feldolgozhatná a Mac számítógépen, a TIFF képeket a Mobile
NoteTaker memóriájából a Mac merevlemezére kell másolni. Ha a Mobile NoteTaker készüléket a Mac
USB-csatlakozójára csatlakoztatja, a tárolt szöveg automatikusan átmásolódik a Mac merevlemezére.

A szöveg átmásolásának megkezdése előtt a Mac számítógépen el kell végezni a megfelelő beállításokat. Ennek
során megadhatja a következőket:

• a TIFF képek tárolási helye a Mac számítógépen;

• a számítógépre másolás után a TIFF képek törlődjenek-e a Mobile NoteTaker memóriájából.

Ezeket a beállításokat a NoteTaker Preferences Tool (Testre szabás) használatával lehet elvégezni.

A NoteTaker Preferences ablak a következőket tartalmazza:

• Target Path – a Mobile NoteTaker TIFF képeinek mentési útvonala a Mac merevlemezén.

• Clear Device Memory jelölőnégyzet – ha bejelöli, a TIFF képek számítógépre másolása után a Mobile NoteTaker

memóriája törlődik. Ha nem jelöli be a jelölőnégyzetet, akkor a számítógépre másolás után a TIFF képek a Mobile
NoteTaker memóriájában maradnak.

2 Elsőként a Mobile NoteTaker memóriájából átmásolt TIFF képek tárolási helyét kell kijelölni a Mac

merevlemezén. A Target Path (Mentési útvonal) a TIFF képek alapértelmezett mentési útvonalát mutatja. Más
útvonal választásához kattintson az ellipszis („ … ”) gombra, ekkor a Finder (Keresés) ablak nyílik meg:

3. A bal oldali oszlopban kattintson a TIFF képek kívánt tárolási helyére, majd az Open (Megnyitás) gombra. A

keresőablak bezárul és a NoteTaker Preferences ablakban az új útvonal jelenik meg.

4. Ha a TIFF képek minden feltöltése után törölni szeretné a Mobile NoteTaker memóriáját, jelölje be a Clear

Device Memory jelölőnégyzetet. Ha a TIFF képeket a Mobile NoteTaker memóriájában szeretné hagyni, törölje
a jelölést a jelölőnégyzetből.

A Mobile NoteTaker készülékkel a számítógéptől távoli helyen (pl. értekezleten vagy
előadáson) rögzítse és tárolja jegyzeteit.

A Mobile NoteTaker készüléket csatlakoztassa a Mac számítógépre és töltse fel a tárolt jegyzeteket.
A tárolt jegyzetek TIFF képformátumúak. A jegyzet megjelenítéséhez kattintson duplán a kívánt
TIFF fájlra.

Ha a Mobile NoteTaker a Mac számítógép USB-csatlakozójára csatlakozik, akkor a készüléket
a Mac Ink alkalmazásokban egérként vagy tábla PC beviteli eszközeként lehet használni. A
digitális tollal olyan alkalmazásokban, mint pl. az iWork’08, on-line módon kézírásos szöveget
lehet írni, amit a Mac szerkeszthető szöveggé alakít. A funkció az iWork Pages
(szövegszerkesztő), iWork Keynote (prezentáció) és iWork Numbers (táblázatkezelő)
programban használható.

A digitális tollal egyes alkalmazásokban (pl. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop stb.) rajzokat is
lehet készíteni.

DÔLEŽITÁ POZNÁMKA:

Keď píšete pomocou digitálneho pera, uistite sa, že sklon voči povrchu papiera je od 45° do 90°. Dávajte pozor, aby ste držali
pero takým spôsobom, aby neblokoval signál odosielaný zo špičky pera do prijímacej jednotky.

• Inštalácia/Výmena atramentovej náplne v pere

Horná časť uzáveru pera funguje tiež ako odsávacie zariadenie pre výmenu atramentu. Nie sú potrebné žiadne špeciálne
atramentové náplne. Jednoducho použite štandardnú atramentovú náplň v nádobke.

POZNÁMKA: Uistite sa, že použitá náplň je podobná ako tá originálna (štandardná náplň: 67,2 mm vysoká X 2,33 mm

• Pripojenie k počítaču

Poznámky môžete prenášať zo základnej jednotky do počítača a aktualizovať firmvér pri práci v režime online pripojením
zariadenia k počítaču. Pre pripojenie zariadenia k počítaču použite dodávaný USB kábel. (POZNÁMKA: Používajte iba USB
kábel dodávaný v balení.)

Varovanie:

NEPOSÚVAJTE ani NEOTÁČAJTE základné zariadenie, keď používate základné zariadenie. Pripevnite ho na roh
papiera tak, aby smeroval nahor. Posúvanie alebo otáčanie môže viesť k zmiešaným pohybom a iným nenávratným
chybám.

Zachytávanie písaných poznámok

Mobilný NoteTaker poskytuje dva pracovné režimy: Režim Off-line a On-line pre zachytávanie písaných poznámok alebo
náčrtov.

• Režim Off-line

Režim off-line vám umožňuje zachytávať a ukladať dôležité poznámky na stretnutiach,
konferenciách alebo prednáškach.
a. Podržte stlačené tlačidlo ON/OFF (Zapnutie/Vypnutie) pre zapnutie zariadenia.
b. Držte základnú jednotku a jemne stlačte všetky spony papiera dokopy.
c. Posuňte základnú jednotku do horného rohu papiera a uistite sa, že je základná jednotka v

strede.

d. Zodvihnite digitálne pero a začnite písať. (POZNÁMKA: Dávajte pozor, aby ste držali pero takým spôsobom, aby

neblokoval signál odosielaný zo špičky pera do prijímacej jednotky.)

e. Po dokončení jednej strany krátko stlačte tlačidlo ON/OFF (Zap./Vyp) pre uloženie aktuálnej strany a začatie novej strany.

Na displeji základnej jednotky môžete vidieť číslo pridanej strany.
Všetky poznámky sú uložené v základnej jednotke. Môžete ich odovzdávať do PC pre prehliadanie, úpravu alebo odoslanie cez
e-mail.

• Režim On-Line

Mobilný NoteTaker pracuje aj keď je pripojený k PC. Tento režim sa volá režim On-line.
V režime On-line môžete prenášať poznámky zo základnej jednotky do PC, písať poznámky
alebo kresliť obrázky pomocou digitálneho pera tak ako v režim off-line.
Digitálne pero funguje tiež ako myš s funkciami posúvania, ľavého a pravého kliku. Navyše,
existujú niektoré špeciálne vlastnosti, ktoré je možné použiť iba v režime On-line. Tieto
funkcie budú detailne popísané v nasledujúcich kapitolách.

Pred pripojením zariadenia k PC sa najskôr uistite, že ste nainštalovali aplikáciu NoteTaker manager dodávanú na CD a že je
spustená.

Dôležitá poznámka: Nepripájajte viac ako jednu súpravu tohto zariadenia naraz. Môže to spôsobiť ich vzájomné
rušenie.

Vyhnite sa rušeniu pri používaní štandardnej myši:

Keď pero nepoužívate, po 60 minútach sa automaticky vypne. Keď zariadenie
nepoužívate, odporúčame vám, aby ste pero umiestnili tak, ako je to zobrazené,
vyhnete sa tak rušeniu pri používaní štandardnej myši.

Inštalácia softvéru NoteTaker

Vložte inštalačné CD do CD-ROM jednotky. Inštalačný program by sa mal spustiť automaticky. Ak nie, spustite program
zvolením 'Spustiť' v menu Windows 'Štart' a zadajte D:\setup.exe. Ak vaša CD jednotka používa iné písmeno, zadajte ho
namiesto písmena D.

2. Riaďte sa pokynmi na obrazovke.

Po dokončení inštalácie sa spustí automatická inštalácia ovládača. Počas tohto procesu sa riaďte nasledujúcimi krokmi.

Po dokončení procesu inštalácie, keď spúšťate aplikáciu prvýkrát, v priečinku „Moje dokumenty“ (My Documents) sa vytvorí
priečinok s názvom „My Notes“ (Moje poznámky). Všetky vaše poznámky budú uložené v tomto priečinku. V prípade, že nie je
nájdený priečinok "Moje dokumenty"(My Documents), proces inštalácie vytvorí priečinok "Moje dokumenty"(My Documents) na
pevnom disku s písmenom C. Priečinok 'My Notes' (Moje poznámky) bude následne vytvorený v tomto priečinku. Ak
odinštalujete, aktualizujete alebo preinštalujete softvér v inom priečinku, poznámkové súbory zostanú v tomto priečinku
a nebudú prepísané.

Prenášanie poznámok do vášho PC

V režime On-line môžete prenášať všetky vaše poznámky z pamäte zariadenia do PC pomocou softvérovej aplikácie
NoteTaker. Predtým sa uistite, že:

• je spustená softvérová aplikácia na vašom PC

• Vaše pamäťové zariadenie je pripojené k USB portu počítača pomocou USB kábla zariadenia.

Na LCD displeji pamäťového zariadenia sa počas pripojenia USB zobrazí nasledovná ikona.

Pre odovzdávanie poznámok:

1. Spustite NoteTaker Manager.

V menu „File“ (Súbor) zvoľte „Upload“ (Odovzdať). Všetky poznámky vo vašom pamäťovom zariadení sa prenesú do PC.

3. Na konci tohto procesu sa zobrazí správa, ktorá sa pýta, či chcete odstrániť všetky poznámky z pamäťového zariadenia.

• Pre odstránenie všetkých poznámok z pamäťového zariadenia zvoľte „Yes“ (Áno).

• Pre zachovanie poznámok zvoľte 'NO' (Nie).

POZNÁMKA:

• Keď zvolíte 'NO' (Nie), pri ďalšom pokuse o prenos poznámok, ktoré už boli prenesené do PC sa tieto už neprenesú.
Ale, ak odstránite poznámky z PC aplikácie a potom sa znova pokúsite o prenos z pamäťového zariadenia, poznámky sa

prenesú znova.

• Môžete zvoliť jednu z troch možností, ktorá sa má vykonať automaticky, keď je pripojené základné zariadenie mobilného

NoteTaker. V menu 'Configuration (Konfigurácia) -->Preferences (Vlastnosti)' v aplikácii Note Manager je možné zvoliť

nasledujúce.

Možnosti odovzdávania nových poznámok:

• YES (Áno) – Vaše mobilné poznámky sa budú automaticky odovzdávať po každom pripojení k PC

•

NO (Nie) – Vaše mobilné poznámky sa nebudú odovzdávať. Ak zvolíte túto možnosť, bude potrebné vykonávať túto

akciu manuálne zvolením v menu 'File (Súbor) -->Upload (Odovzdať)' v aplikácii Note Manager

• ASK ME (Opýtať sa) – Po každom pripojení základnej jednotky mobilného NoteTaker-a, bude potrebné potvrdiť, či

chcete preniesť poznámky

Prevádzkový režim digitálneho pera

Po pripojení k PC, podporuje NoteTaker režim poznámok a režim myši.
V režime poznámok, písanie na papier pomocou digitálneho pera vytvorí atramentovú poznámku v aplikácii NoteTaker.
V režime myši funguje digitálne pero ako myš s funkciami posúvania, ľavého a pravého kliku. Tlačidlo kliknutia je na tele
pera. V tomto režime je možné používať aplikácie s podporou pera, napr. Microsoft Journal, aplikácie Vista Ink, Office 2007
.

V režime myši vaše digitálne pero pracuje ako myš s nasledujúcou funkcionalitou:

• Pre posun kurzora myši môžete posúvať pero.

Pre zapnutie posúvania môžete stlačiť bočné tlačidlo alebo
ťuknúť perom na papier. Pero sa bude pohybovať aj keď
nestlačíte tlačidlo približne 30 sekúnd.

• Pre kliknutie na objekt, nasmerujte kurzor na tento objekt. Teraz ťuknite perom na papier alebo stlačte bočné
tlačidlo.

•

Pre dvojité kliknutie na objekt, nasmerujte kurzor na tento objekt. Teraz ťuknite dvakrát

perom na papier alebo dvakrát stlačte bočné tlačidlo.

Pre pravé kliknutie na objekt, nasmerujte kurzor na tento objekt. Teraz podržte špičku pera stlačenú na papieri
dlhšie. Zobrazí sa špeciálny kurzor „pravého kliknutia“ (Right click). Uvoľnite pero z papiera a zobrazí sa kontextové
menu (menu pravého kliknutia).

Vytváranie poznámok

V momente, kedy začnete písať alebo kresliť pomocou digitálneho pera, na obrazovke sa zobrazí okno poznámky, ktoré
zobrazuje všetko, čo píšete na papier pripevnený k základnej jednotke. Panel okna poznámok vám umožňuje vykonávať rôzne
základné funkcie, ako je ukladanie úprava, odosielanie a kopírovanie vašich poznámok počas písania aj keď ste dokončili
písanie.

POZNÁMKA: Počas písania sa uistite, že rukou neblokujete zorný lúč medzi perom a základnou jednotkou. Keď je zorný lúč
blokovaný, NoteTaker nebude fungovať správne.

Používanie aplikácie Note manager

Note Manager môže byť používaný na ukladanie, prehliadanie, vyhľadávanie, kopírovanie, exportovanie a odoslanie poznámok
cez e-mail. Pre detailné informácie o aplikácii Note manager si prečítajte Návod na použitie, ktorý sa nachádza na CD.

Používanie mobilného NoteTaker-a v aplikáciách Microsoft Windows Vista Ink

Mobilný NoteTaker vám umožňuje používať aplikácie Windows Vista Ink, napr. denník, lepiace poznámky a tiež pridávať
atramentové poznámky do aplikácií Office 2007.
Uistite sa, že je rozsvietená ikona myši na LCD displeji. Zatiaľ nie je potrebné používať aplikáciu NoteTaker. Pero pracuje
v režime tabletového pera.
Začnite pohybovať perom nad papierom. Skontrolujte oblasť pokrytia. Oblasť pokrytia predstavuje veľkosť "imaginárneho"
štvorca na papieri, ktorý pokrýva celú plochu obrazovky (medzi 4 rohmi).

Používanie pera NoteTaker v denníku

Používanie pera NoteTaker v MS-Word 2007

V paneli nástrojov pera (je možné nastaviť manuálne) zvoľte červené pero. Otvoria sa rôzne možnosti pera. Môžete
vkladať poznámky alebo písať v MS Word.

Otvorte komentár pera (modré pero na žltom podklade v paneli pera). Na pravej strane sa otvorí bublina. Použite ju
pre písanie komentárov.

V každej aplikácii Office je vstupný panel Tablet PC na ľavej strane. Môžete vidieť iba jeho koniec. Po ťuknutí sa zobrazí
na obrazovke. Môžete písať vetu alebo jednotlivé znaky a tie sú automaticky rozpoznávané: Slovo za slovom alebo
písmeno za písmenom.

Poznámky: Kedykoľvek, keď myš nepracuje ťuknite jedenkrát perom na papier. Tým sa pero prebudí z režimu spánku.

Používanie NoteTaker v systéme Mac

• Inštalácia softvéru NoteTaker pre OS Mac

Nasledujúci postup vás prevedie procesom inštalácie aplikácie NoteTaker pre Mac.
(1) Kliknite na ikonu inštalátora NoteTaker (NoteTaker.pkg). Otvorí sa Inštalátor NoteTaker (štandardný Mac inštalátor):

(2) Kliknite na Continue (Pokračovať). Inštalátor prejde ku kroku výberu cieľa. V tomto kroku je potrebné zvoliť umiestnenie

(obyčajne na pevnom disku Mac), kde chcete inštalovať softvér NoteTaker. Po zvolení (kliknutí) vášho preferovaného pevného
disku inštalátor potvrdí váš výber.

3. Kliknite na Continue (Pokračovať). Inštalátor prejde k fáze typu inštalácie. V tejto fáze potvrdíte, či chcete vykonať
štandardnú inštaláciu softvéru na pevnom disku, ktorý ste zvolili.

Poznámky:

Vykonanie štandardnej inštalácie nainštaluje softvér priamo do vášho priečinka s aplikáciami na pevnom disku Mac. Ak chcete
zmeniť umiestnenie, kde sa má softvér nainštalovať, kliknite na Change Install Location (Zmeniť miesto inštalácie), ktoré vás vráti
na predchádzajúci krok, pre zvolenie umiestnenia cieľa.

4. Kliknite na Install (Inštalovať). Otvorí sa dialógové okno Password (Heslo).

5. Zadajte užívateľské heslo a kliknite na OK. Softvér NoteTaker sa nainštaluje na zvolenú jednotku a inštalátor zobrazí správu

Install Succeeded (Úspešná inštalácia).

6. Kliknite na Close (Zatvoriť) pre zatvorenie inštalátora a dokončenie inštalácie.

Keď používate vaše digitálne pero na písanie textu, všetko, čo napíšete sa uloží ako séria obrázkov TIFF (Tagged Image File
Format) v pamäti mobilného NoteTaker-a. Predtým ako budete pracovať s vašim textom v OS Mac je potrebné preniesť TIFF
obrázky z mobilného NoteTaker-a na pevný disk Mac. Po pripojení mobilného NoteTak k USB portu vášho Mac bude váš text
automaticky prenesený priamo z mobilného NoteTaker-a do Mac.

Pred spustením prenosu vášho textu z mobilného NoteTaker-a je potrebné najskôr nastaviť vlastnosti na počítači Mac. Pri
nastavovaní vlastností si môžete zvoliť:

• Kde na vašom pevnom disku Mac chcete ukladať TIFF obrázky;

• Či chcete odstrániť TIFF obrázky z mobilného NoteTaker-a po ich importovaní do vášho počítača Mac.

Tieto vlastnosti môžete nastaviť pomocou nástroja vlastností NoteTaker Preference.

Nastavenie nástroja NoteTaker Preferences (Vlastnosti)

Nasledujúci postup popisuje ako nastaviť vlastnosti pomocou nástroja NoteTaker Preference:

1. Kliknite na ikonu vlastností NoteTaker. Otvorí sa dialógové okno NoteTaker Preferences (Vlastnosti):

Dialógové okno NoteTaker Preferences pozostáva z nasledujúcich súčastí:

• Target Path (Cieľová cesta) – zobrazuje cestu k umiestneniu na pevný disk Mac, kde budú uložené TIFF súbory z mobilného
NoteTaker-a.

• Políčko Clear Device Memory (Vymazať pamäť zariadenia) – ak je toto políčko zaškrtnuté, pamäť mobilného NoteTaker-a
bude vymazaná (odstránená) po odovzdaní TIFF obrázkov do Mac. Ak nie je toto políčko zaškrtnuté, TIFF obrázky zostanú
uložené v mobilnom NoteTaker-i po ich importovaní do vášho počítača Mac.

2.Prvá vlastnosť, ktorú je potrebné nastaviť je umiestnenie na vašom Mac, kde budú uložené TIFF obrázky po ich prenesení
z mobilného NoteTaker-a. Cieľová cesta zobrazuje predvolené umiestnenie kde sa budú ukladať TIFF obrázky. Pre zvolenie inej
cesty kliknite na elipsové tlačidlo ("...") pre otvorenie okna Finder (Vyhľadávač):

3. Zvoľte, kde na vašom Mac chcete uložiť TIFF obrázky kliknutím na príslušné umiestnenie v ľavom stĺpci a potom kliknite na

Open (Otvoriť). Okno vyhľadávača sa zatvorí a v dialógovom okne NoteTaker Preferences sa zobrazí nová cieľová cesta.

4.

Ak chcete vymazať pamäť NoteTaker-a po každom odovzdaní TIFF obrázkov, začiarknite políčko Clear Device Memory
(Vymazať pamäť zariadenia). Pre ponechanie TIFF obrázkov v mobilnom NoteTaker-i po ich odovzdaní, nechajte toto políčko
nezačiarknuté.

5. Pre uloženie vlastností a zatvorenie dialógového okna NoteTaker Preferences, kliknite na Save (Uložiť). Pri ďalšom pripojení

mobilného NoteTaker-a k Mac sa vaše obrázky odovzdajú v závislosti od vlastností, ktoré ste nastavili.

6. Pre zatvorenie dialógového okna NoteTaker Preferences bez uloženia zmien, kliknite na Exit (Koniec).

Používanie mobilného NoteTaker-a s počítačom Mac

Pomocou mobilného NoteTaker-a zachyťte a uložte vaše poznámky, keď nie ste pri Mac, na stretnutí alebo
prednáške.

Pripojte mobilný NoteTaker k vášmu Mac pre odovzdanie uložených poznámok. Poznámky sú uložené vo
formáte TIFF. Dvakrát kliknite na požadovaný TIFF súbor pre prehliadanie poznámky.

Zařízení Mobile NoteTaker dokáže zaznamenat ručně psané poznámky nebo nákresy na obyčejném papíře a uložit je
ve své vnitřní flashové paměti. Zaznamenané poznámky lze přes USB rozhraní uložit do počítače. Zařízení je velmi

Digitální pero lze použít s jakoukoli přijímací jednotkou jako např. Mobile NoteTaker a PC Notes Taker. Je to jedinečné
zařízení, která zaznamenává ručně psané poznámky na obyčejném papíru a přenáší je do základní jednotky.

VÝSTRAHA:

Digitální pero se nesnažte otevřít. Můžete jej trvale poškodit.

DŮLEŽITÉ UPOZORNĚNÍ:

Když píšete digitálním perem, sklon plochy s papírem má být mezi 45 °a 90 °.
Pero držte tak, aby neblokovalo signály vysílané ze špičky pera do přijímací jednotky.

Pro lepší kvalitu písma

Pero držte pevně a pište
běžným způsobem.

Druhou rukou neblokujte
základní jednotku.

Ruku nepokládejte mezi pero a
přijímač.

Pero nedržte jako štětec.



Vložení/výměna náplně do pera

Horní část vršku pera slouží také jako vytahovač náplně. Není třeba žádná speciální náplň. Použijte standardní běžně
prodejnou náplň.

POZNÁMKA: Náplň musí být podobná původní náplni (standardní náplň: 67,2mm dlouhá, 2,33 mm v průměru).

Náplň umístěte do středu vytahovače. Pero držte pevně a vytahovačem zatlačte směrem proti peru.

Vložení nové náplně

1. Novou náplň zasuňte do špičky pera.

2. Jemně na ni tlačte, dokud není pevně usazena na svém místě.

Vložení/výměna baterie pera

 Odstraňte kryt oddílu pro baterie.
 Vložte dvě baterie typu SR41, kladné póly směřují nahoru.

 Kryt oddílu pro baterie nasaďte zpět.

POZNÁMKY:

(1) Použijte dodané baterie typu AAA, dbejte na správnou polaritu.
(2) Baterie nelze bezpečně likvidovat v běžném domácím odpadu. Ohledně předpisů k likvidaci a recyklaci kontaktujte
místní úřady.
(3) Riziko výbuchu při vložení nesprávného typu baterie. Pokud bude baterie ve vašem peru brzy vyčerpaná, na
obrazovce se objeví tato ikona:

Tato výstraha se neustále zobrazí na každé nové poznámce a ikona aplikace na systémové liště se změní podle
aktuálního stavu, dokud baterie nevyměníte.

(4) Životnost baterií se může lišit a nelze ji zaručit. Dodané baterie jsou vhodné pouze pro počáteční používání.

O základní jednotce

Přístroj Mobile Note Taker je jedinečné zařízení, které zaznamenává ručně psané poznámky, ukládá je a odešle je do
počítače.

Zařízení Mobile Note Taker dokáže zaznamenat a uložit více než 100 stran typu A4.
Pomocí LCD displeje uživatel zjistí číslo aktuální strany, nabití baterie a aktuální pracovní režim.

Doma nebo v kanceláři pak uživatel může zařízení Mobile Note Taker připojit pomocí USB kabelu k počítači a
následně odeslat a spravovat uložené poznámky.



 Nabíjení baterie

Základní jednotka má zabudovanou dobíjecí baterii. Není proto třeba externí baterie. Když je baterie vybitá, jednoduše
ji nabijte připojením zařízení do počítače pomocí USB připojení.



 Připevnění základní jednotky k papíru

Základní jednotku lze na záhlaví papíru připevnit ve 3 místech.
Následující nákresy vám představí způsob, jakým lze základní jednotku připevnit podle doporučeného umístění.

 Připojení k počítači

Poznámky můžete ze základní jednotky odeslat do počítače, připojením zařízení k počítači můžete pracovat v on-line
režimu a upgradovat firmware. Pro připojení zařízení k počítači použijte dodaný USB kabel. (POZNÁMKA: Používejte
pouze USB kabel dodaný od výrobce.)

Výstraha:
Pokud základní jednotku používáte, NEPŘESUNUJTE ji ani ji NEOTÁČEJTE. Na okraj papíru ji připevněte
směrem nahoru. Přesouvání nebo otáčení jednotky může způsobit nečitelnost nebo jiné závažné chyby.

Pořizování ručně psaných poznámek

Zařízení Mobile NoteTaker má dva pracovní režimy: offline a online režim pro ruční psaní poznámek nebo nákresy.



 Offline režim

Offline režim vám umožňuje zaznamenávat a ukládat důležité poznámky na schůzkách, konferencích a seminářích.

a. Stisknutím a přidržením tlačítka ZAP/VYP zařízení zapnete.
b. Uchopte základní jednotku a lehce scvakněte všechny svorky na papír.
c. Základní jednotku nasaďte na horní okraj papíru a umístěte ji do středu.
d. Uchopte digitální pero a začněte psát. (POZNÁMKA: Pero držte opatrně tak, aby neblokovalo signály vysílané ze
špičky pera do přijímací jednotky.)
e. Jakmile dopíšete stránku, krátkým stisknutím tlačítka ZAP/VYP aktuální stránku uložíte a zahájíte novou stránku.

Na obrazovce základní jednotky uvidíte postupně přidávaná čísla stránek.
Veškeré poznámky se uloží v základní jednotce. Nyní je můžete odeslat do počítače k prohlížení, úpravám nebo
odeslání e-mailem.

 Online režim

Zařízení Mobile NoteTaker pracuje také po připojení k počítači, což se nazývá online režim.
V online režimu lze odeslat poznámky ze základní jednotky do počítače, psát poznámky nebo kreslit obrázky digitálním
perem stejně jako v offline režimu.
Digitální pero lze také používat jako myš s funkcemi přesouvání, levé a pravé kliknutí. Navíc má některé speciální
funkce, které lze používat pouze v online režimu. Tyto funkce jsou podrobně popsány v následujících kapitolách.

Před připojením zařízení k počítači nejprve nainstalujte aplikaci NoteTaker manager, která se nachází na CD, a
spusťte ji.

Důležitá poznámka: Současně nepřipojujte k počítači více než jedno zařízení. Mohlo by dojít k jejich
vzájemnému rušení.

Vyvarujte se rušení při používání běžné myši:

Pokud pero nepoužíváte, automaticky se po 60 minutách nečinnosti vypne.
Pokud pero nepoužíváte, doporučujeme vám je umístit podle nákresu, aby nedocházelo k rušení funkčnosti běžné
myši.

Instalace softwaru NoteTaker

1. Instalační CD vložte do jednotky CD ROM. Instalační program se automaticky spustí. Pokud ne, spusťte je výběrem
možnosti „Spustit“ z Windows nabídky „Start“ a zadejte D:\setup.exe. Pokud je vaše CD jednotka označena jiným
písmenem, použijte toto písmeno místo písmene D.

2. Postupujte podle pokynů na obrazovce.

3. Po dokončení instalace se spustí automatická instalace ovladače. Postupujte podle pokynů.

4. Po dokončení instalace se při prvním spuštění v adresáři „Dokumenty“ vytvoří nová složka nazvaná „Moje
poznámky“. Všechny vaše poznámky se budou ukládat do tohoto adresáře. Pokud nebude možné adresář
„Dokumenty“ nalézt, instalační proces vytvoří na vašem pevném disku C novou služku „Dokumenty“. Složka „Moje
poznámky“ se pak vytvoří v tomto adresáři. Pokud software odinstalujete, upgradujete nebo přeinstalujete na jiné
místo, soubory poznámek zůstanou v tomto adresáři a nebudou přepsány.

Odeslání poznámek do počítače

V online režimu můžete všechny své poznámky odeslat z paměti zařízení do počítače pomocí softwarové aplikace
NoteTaker. Než tak učiníte, nejprve:

Spusťte ve svém počítači softwarovou aplikaci.

Připojte paměťovou jednotku do USB portu počítače pomocí USB kabelu paměťové jednotky.

Během připojení pomocí USB se na LCD displeji paměťové jednotky zobrazí tato ikona.

Odeslání poznámek:

1. Spusťte NoteTaker Manager.

2. V nabídce „Soubor“ vyberte možnost „Odeslat“. Všechny poznámky z paměťové jednotky se odešlou do počítače.

3. Na konci procesu se zobrazí zpráva, která se vás zeptá, zda chcete odstranit všechny poznámky z paměťové
jednotky.

Pokud chcete poznámky z paměťové jednotky smazat, vyberte „Ano“.

Pokud chcete poznámky ponechat, vyberte „Ne“.

POZNÁMKY:

- Pokud vyberete „Ne“, při příštím odesílání poznámek nebudou poznámky, které již byly do počítače odeslány,
odesílány znova.
Pokud poznámky z aplikace v počítači odstraníte a pak poznámky z paměťové jednotky znovu odešlete, odešlou se i
tyto poznámky.

- Při připojení základní jednotky Mobile NoteTaker můžete zvolit jednu ze tří možností, které se provedou automaticky
po připojení. Tyto možnosti lze zvolit v nabídce „Konfigurace -->Předvolby“ v programu Note Manager.

Možnosti automatického odesílání nových poznámek:

-

ANO – Vaše mobilní poznámky se automaticky odešlou při každém připojení k počítači.

-

NE – Vaše mobilní poznámky se neodešlou. U této možnosti musíte tuto akci provést manuálně tak, že v aplikaci

Note Manager vyberete nabídku „Soubor-->Odeslat“.

-

DOTAZOVAT SE – Po každém připojení základní jednotky Mobile NoteTaker budete dotázáni, zda chcete své

poznámky odeslat.

Provozní režim digitálního pera
Po připojení k počítači zařízení NoteTaker podporuje režim poznámek a režim myši.
V režimu poznámek se psaním na papír s digitálním perem vytvoří poznámka v aplikaci NoteTaker. V režimu myši
pero funguje jako myš s funkcemi přesunu, levého a pravého kliknutí. Tlačítko pro kliknutí je na těle pera. Normálně by
se měly v tomto režimu používat aplikace umožňující rukopis, jako např. Microsoft Journal, Vista Ink applications,
Office 2007.

Výběr výchozího režimu lze provést 2 způsoby:
a. Poprvé spusťte aplikaci NoteTaker,
NEBO
b. Pomocí nabídky „Konfigurace“ v NoteTaker („Nastavit režim digitálního pera“).
Změnu režimu během provozu lze provést 3 způsoby:

a. Stisknutím horního tlačítka na základní jednotce (tlačítko „ZAP/VYP”),
NEBO
b. Kliknutím pravým tlačítkem na liště na ikonu „NoteTaker“ a změna režimu,
NEBO
c. Kliknutím perem na virtuální oblast.

Virtuální oblast
Pro změnu režimu se digitálním perem dotkněte této oblasti.

Poznámka: Při každé změně režimu se zobrazí bublina, která indikuje aktuální režim, a rozsvítí se odpovídající LED
kontrolka.

V režimu myši se vaše digitální pero chová jako myš s těmito funkcemi:



Pro posun kurzoru myši můžete přesouvat pero.
Pro spuštění přesunu stiskněte boční tlačítko nebo se perem dotkněte papíru. Pero lze přesunovat i bez tlaku po dobu
30 sekund.

● Pro kliknutí na objekt na něj zamiřte kurzorem myši. Nyní se perem dotkněte papíru nebo stiskněte boční tlačítko.

● Pro dvojité kliknutí zamiřte kurzorem myši na příslušný objekt. Nyní se perem dvakrát dotkněte papíru nebo dvakrát

stiskněte boční tlačítko.

● Pro kliknutí pravým tlačítkem myši zamiřte kurzorem myši na příslušný objekty. Nyní se perem dotkněte papíru déle.
Objeví se speciální kurzor pro „kliknutí pravým tlačítkem“.
Pero nadzvedněte z papíru a objeví se místní nabídka (nabídka po kliknutí pravým tlačítkem).

Vytváření poznámek

V tu chvíli, kdy začnete psát nebo kreslit pomocí digitálního pera, se na vaší obrazovce objeví aplikace Note Windows,
ve které se zobrazí vše, co napíšete na papír připevněný k základní jednotce. Panel nástrojů aplikace Note Windows
vám umožní provádět různé základní funkce, jako je uložení, úpravy, odeslání a kopírování vašich poznámek během
psaní nebo jakmile dopíšete.

POZNÁMKA: Během psaní nesmíte rukou blokovat záměrnou přímku mezi perem a základní jednotkou.
Když je záměrná přímka blokovaná, zařízení NoteTaker nebude fungovat správně.
