ongratulations on your purchasing a Gemini wirelesssystem. This system includes the latest features and is
backed by a one year limited warranty. Prior to use we suggest that you carefullyread all the instructions. This book includes
instructions for both the VHF-1000 and theVHF-2000 systems.

CAUTIONS

1

. All operating instructions should be read beforeusing this equipment.

2. To reduce risk of electrical shock, do not open the unit. There are NO USER OR SERVICABLE PARTS INSIDE. Please refer

servicing to a qualified service technician.

3. Do not expose this unit to direct sunlight or a heat source such as a radiator or stove.

4. Dust, dirt and debris can interfere with the performance of this unit. Make an effort to keep the unit away fromdusty, dirty

enviroments, and cover the unit when itis not in use. Dust it regularly with a soft clean brush.

5. When moving this equipment, it should be placed in its original carton and packaging. This will reduce the risk of damage

during transit.

6. DO NOT EXPOSE THIS UNIT TO RAIN OR MOISTURE.

7. DO NOT USE ANY SPRAY CLEANER OR LUBRICANT ON ANY CONTROLS OR SWITCHES.

Gemini wireless systems are the type acceptedunder FCC rules parts 74 and 15. Licensing of Gemini equipment is the user ’s
responsibility and licensability depends on the user’s classification and application.

This equipment has been tested and foundto comply with the limits set forth under part 15 and 74 of FCC rules.
This equipment operates at a frequency thathas been authorized by the FCC. However, there is no guarantee that interference
will not occur in a particular installation.If this equipment does cause interference to radio or televison reception, try one or more
of the following suggestions:

1. Repoint or relocate the recieving antenna.

2. Plug the equipment into a socket or a different circuit.

3. Call your dealer to arrange to exchange the unit for one with a different frequency.

Remember, any changes made to the unit without authorazation from Gemini will void your warranty.

VH-1000 SINGLE CHANNEL WIRELESS SYSTEM

The VH-1000 single channel VH series wirelesssystem is a high quality audio product that provides excellent performance under
most operating conditions.
Four different models are available and all operate one VHF high band frequency between 177.60 MHZ to204.60 MHZ.

THE MODELS AVAILABLE ARE:
VHF-1000M - Which comes equipped with ahand held microphone transmitter.
VHF-1000HL - Which comes equipped with abelt pack transmitter and Headset/ lavalier combo.

ALL MODELS ARE AVAILABLE IN EIGHT DIFFERENT FREQUENCIES:

VH-1000 SINGLE CHANNEL RECIEVER OPERATION

Note: Effective range between the transmitter and reciever is up to 100 feet.

1. Remove all packing materials. Save the box and packing materials to transport the unitand in case the unit ever requires service.

2. Plug the AC adaptor into the rear of the reciever where the jack is labeled DC 12V. Then plug the adaptor into an appropriate AC
Outlet. The power indicator should be illuminated. NOTE: The adaptor is available in 120V AC or 230V AC.

3. Extend the antenna fully vertical and point it out into the direction you willbe speaking from.

4. Insert the 1/4” cable into the jack labeled AUDIO OUT on the rear of the reciever, and connect the other end of the cable
to your amp ,effects or mixer jack.

5 Adjust the volume using the level controlon the front panel

6. To adjust the squelch, place the small plastic tool (included with the unit) in the hole marked SQUELCH at the backof the unit,

and slowly turn the tool to adjustthe output level to just above the level of background noise. Setting the squelch to high will
reduce the range of the system. Settingthe squelch too low will increase the level of unwanted noise.

VHF- 2000 DUAL CHANNEL SYSTEM

T

he VHF- 2000 dual channel VH serieswireless system is two seperate single channel transmitters of different frequencies
transmitting to one unit that houses bothfrequency recievers, each one having its own seperate output, unless you choose mix mode
(

see back panel) which alows youto have both channels out of one output. There is also individual squelch and level control for

each channel.

Two different models are available and both operate on a VHF high band frequency between 177.60 MHZ to 204.60MHZ

VHF-2000M - Which comes equipped with (2)hand held microphone transmitters.
VHF-2000HL -Which comes equipped with (2) beltpack transmitters and (2) Headset/ lavalier combos.

HAND HELD TRANSMITTER FEATURES

CAUTIONS

1. Do not drop the microphone onto a hard surface.

2. Do not strike the microphone head front with fist or fingers, and do not blow strongly into the microphone headfront.

3. Do not use the microphone in areas of high humidity and /or high temperatureas this could lead to damage of the microphone.

HAND HELD TRANSMITTER OPERATION

1. Open the battery holder turning it counter clockwise. Insert a 9V battery into the battery holder according to the polarity
indication marked on the battery housing. Closethe battery holder.

2. Push the power switch to the ON position. The BATT indicator should flash once briefly as you turn onthe mic indicating that the
mic has sufficient power. If theBATT stays on, it indicates that the battery has insufficient powerand should be changed.
If the BATT does not light at all and the mic does not work, it indicates the the battery is deadand you should change the battery.
If the microphone is not going tobe used for any length of time, push the power switch to OFF and remove the battery.
Do not switch the mic on andoff rapidly, because you wont get a true indication from the BATT indicator.

HEADSET/LAVALIER COMBO AND TRANSMITTER OPERATION

1. Open the battery door by sliding towards the arrow. Insert a 9V batteryinto the battery holder according to the polarity indication
marked on the battery housing. Close thebattery door.

2. Push the power switch to the ON position. The BATT indicator should flash once briefly as you turn onthe mic indicating that the

mic has sufficient power. If theBATT stays on, it indicates that the battery has insufficient powerand should be changed.
If the BATT does not light at all and the mic does not work, it indicates the the battery is deadand you should change the battery.
If the microphone is not going tobe used for any length of time, push the power switch to OFF and remove the battery.

3. The lavalier mic clip should be placed as high as possiblein a vertical line with your mouth.

4. To adjust the gain (input sensitivity), remove the battery door and place the small plastic tool (included with the unit) inthe hole

marked mic adj and slowly turn thetool and speak into the mic until the volume is adjusted. use of any other tool to adjust
the gain will void the warranty.

5. The lavalier/Headset combo wire is the transmit antenna. Donot roll up, coil or shorten during use. This wire must be kept as

straight as possible.

. Las instrucciones deben leerse antes deusar este equipo.

2. Para reducir el riesgo de shockelectrico, no abra la unidad. Por favor acuda a un tecnico cualificado de Gemini para cualquier

Este equipo opera con frecuencias autorizadas porel FCC.A pesarde esto, no se puede garantizar que no se puedan producir inter­ferencias en instalaciones domesticas. Si el equipoproduce interferencias con radio o televisión, pruebe algunas de estas sugeren­cias:

1. Redirija o recoloque la antena receptora.

2. Enchufe el aparato a una toma de corriente de distinto circuito.

VH-1000 SISTEMA SINGLE INALAMBRICO

El VH-1000 es un sistema inalambrico singlede VH series con gran calidad de audio que permite aportar soluciones ala mayoria de
necesidades de uso.
Existen cuatro modelos disponibles y todos operanen la banda alta de VHF entre 174.60 MHZ hasta 204.60 MHZ.

LOS MODELOS DISPONIBLES SON:
VHF-1000M - Que viene equipado con transmisorde microfono de mano.
VHF-1000HL - Que viene equipado con transmisorde petaca y micrófono lavalier.

TODOS LOS MODELOS ESTAN DISPONOIBLES EN OCHO DISTINTAS FRECUENCIAS:

MANEJO DEL RECEPTOR SINGLE VH-1000

Nota: Rango efectivo entre el transmisor yreceptor es de 150 pies (45 metros).

1. Retire el embalaje. Guarde la caja completa para su posterior transporte o en casode necesitar ser enviada al servicio técnico.

2. Conecte el adaptador AC en la parte posterior del receptor donde el jack esta marcadocomo DC 12V. Despues conecte el adap­tador a una toma de corriente decorrecto voltage.

3. Extienda la antena de forma vertical y apunte hacia la dirección donde estará hablando.

4. Inserte el cable de auriculares jack 1/4” en la toma marcada AUDIO OUT en la trasera de su receptor, y conecte el otro extremo
del cable en su amplificador, unidad de efectos o mezclador.
5 Ajuste el volumen usando el control denivel en el panel frontal

6. Para ajustar el squelch, ponga el pequeño destornillador de plastico (suministrado con la unidad)en el agujero marcado
SQUELCH en la trasera de la unidad,y lentamente gire el control para ajustar el nivel de señal por encima del nivel de ruido de

ondo. Si ajusta el squelch muy altoreducirá el alcance del sistema. Si ajusta el squelch muy bajo aumentará el nivel de ruido de

fondo no deseado.

VHF- 2000 SISTEMA DE DOBLE CANAL

El VHF- 2000 inalambrico de doble canalVH series es dos transmisores single separados de distintas frecuencias que emiten hacia
una unica caja receptora que contiene losreceptores de ambas frecuencias. Una sola salida lleva la mezcla de las dosseñales

acia su mezclador utilizando un solo cable.

Hay dos modelos disponibles operando en labanda alta de VHF enter 177.60 MHZ hasta 204.60MHZ

LOS MODELOS DISPONIBES SON:

PRECAUCIONES

1. No tire el micrófono sobre superficies duras.

2. No golpee la cabeza del micrófono con la mano o los dedos, y nosople fuerte en la cabeza del micro.

3. No use el micrófono en zonas de alta humedad y/o alta temperatura ya quepodria llegar a dañar al micrófono.

MANEJO DEL TRANSMISOR DE MANO

1. Abra la tapa de baterias desenrroscandola. Inserte una bateria de 9v. en elalojamiento según la polaridad marcada en el propio
alojamiento. Cierre la tapa de la bateria.

2. Ponga el interruptor en posición ON. El indicador BATT debe parpadear una vez brevemente para indicar que el micrófono tiene
suficiente bateria. Si BATT queda encendido,esto indica que la bateria esta baja y debe ser cambiada.
Si BATT no se enciende y el micro no funciona, esto indicaque la bateria esta totalmente agotada y debe cambiar la bateria.
Si el Micrófono no va a utilizarsepor un tiempo, ponga el interruptor en OFF y quite la bateria.
No mueva rapido el interruptor de ona off ya que la lectura del indicador BATT no seriareal.

MANEJO DEL TRANSMISOR DE PETACA DE CABEZA Y LAVALIER

. Abra el alojamiento de bateria desplazando enel sentido de la flecha. Inserte una bateria de 9V de acuerdo con la polaridad mar­cada. Cierre la tapa de bateria.

2. Ponga el interruptor en posición ON. El indicador BATT debe parpadear unavez brevemente para indicar que el micrófono tiene
suficiente bateria. Si BATT queda encendido,esto indica que la bateria esta baja y debe ser cambiada.
Si BATT no se enciende y el micro no funciona, esto indicaque la bateria esta totalmente agotada y debe cambiar la bateria.
Si el Micrófono no va a utilizarsepor un tiempo, ponga el interruptor en OFF y quite la bateria.
No mueva rapido el interruptor de ona off ya que la lectura del indicador BATT no seriareal.

3. La pinza del lavalier debe colocarse lo mas arriba posible en la vertical dela boca.

4. Para ajustar la ganancia (sensibilidad de entrada), quite la tapa de bateria y coloqueel destornillador de plastico (incluido con la
unidad) en el agujero marcado mic adjy gire lentamente mientras habla por el micrófono hasta el nivel deseado. Eluso de cualquier
otra herramienta para el ajuste anulará lagarantia.

5. El cable del Petaca de cabeza y lavalier es la antena transmisora. No la enrolle, lie o acorte durante su uso. Este cable debecolo­carse lo mas estirado posible.

des instructions qui suivent. Ce manuel d’utilisationconcerne les ensembles des Séries VHF-1000 & VHF -2000.

. Afin d’éliminer tout risque d’électrocution nous vous recommandons de ne pas démonter l’appareil. Il n’y a pas de pièce détachée

FONCTIONNEMENT DU SYSTEME SIMPLE CANAL VHF-1000

Remarque: La portée effective entre l’émetteur et le récepteur est de 40 M.

1. Déballez l’appareil. Conservez l’emballage afin de transporter correctement votre appareil, ainsi qu’en cas deSAV.

2. Branchez l’alimentation secteur AC à l’arrière du récepteur au niveau de l’embase identifiée DC 12V. Puis branchez l’alimentation
sur une prise de courant. L’indicateur power doitalors s’allumer.NOTE: L’alimentationest disponible en 120V AC ou 230V AC.

3. Positionnez l’antenne vers le haut et dépliez là sur toute sa longueur en directionde l’endroit d’émission.

4. Reliez le récepteur - via la sortieidentifiée AUDIO OUT - à l’entrée micro de votre console de mixage ou de votre multi-effet en
utilisant le cordon Jack 6.35mm.
5 Ajustez le volume à l’aide du potentiomètresitué en face avant.

MISES EN GARDE

3. N’utilisez pas le micro émetteur dans des endroits exposés à une humidité élevée et/ouà des températures élevées car cela
pourrait l’endommager.

UTILISATION DU MICRO EMETTEUR MAIN

1. Ouvrez le compartiment porte-pile en le dévissant dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.Insérez une pile/batterie de 9V en
prenant soin de respecter la polarité.

2. Mettez le commutateur power en position ON. Le témoin BATT doit alors s’allumer durant une fraction de seconde indiquant ainsi
une charge suffisante de la pile/batterie. Si le témoin BATT reste allumé,cela siginifie qu’il faut remplacer la pile/batterie. Si le témoin
BATT ne s’allume pas du tout & que le micro ne fonctionnepas il faut remplacer la pile/batterie. Si vous ne comptez pas utiliser le
micro durant un certain temps, nous vousrecommandons de mettre le commutateur en position OFF & d’enlever la batterie/pile. Ne
pas éteindre & allumer rapidement le microcar cela vous procurerait une information erronnée sur la charge de la pile/batterie.

UTILISATION DU BOITIER CEINTURE EMETTEUR SERRE-TETE/ LAVALIER

3. Le micro lavalier doit être positionné à la verticale et aussi près que possiblede la bouche.

4. Pour ajuster le gain (Sensibilité du signal audio en entrée), enlevez le cache etutilisez l’accessoire en plastique livré avec l’ap­pareil. Puis tournez lentement l’accessoire tout enparlant dans le micro afin d’obtenir le réglage de niveau désiré. L’utilisation de tout
autre accessoire pour régler le gain entraîneral’annulation de la garantie.

5. Le cordon du micro combo serre-tete/ lavalier sert aussi d’antenne de transmission. Veillez à ne pas l’enrouler, ni à en réduire la
longueur au risque de modifier les performancesd’émission de l’appareil. Ce cordon doit rester droit autant que possible.

LIMITED WARRANTY
A. Gemini warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for One (1) year from the original purchase date.
Exceptions: Laser assemblies on CD Players, car tridges, and cross­faders are covered for 90 days.

B. This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by

abuse, misuse, abnormal use, faulty installation, improper maintenance or
any repairs other than those provided by an authorized Gemini Service
Center.

C. There are no obligations of liability on the par t of Gemini for conse­quential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or perform­ance of the product or other indirect damages with respect to loss of
property, revenues, of profit, or costs of removal, installation, or reinstalla­tion. All implied warranties for Gemini, including implied warranties for fit­ness, are limited in duration to One (1) year from the original date of
purchase, unless otherwise mandated by local statutes.

RETURN/REPAIR
A. In the U.S.A., please call our helpful Customer Service Representatives
at [phone], and they will be happy to give you a Return Authori­zation Number (RA#) and the address of an authorized service center

closest to you.

B. After receiving an RA#, include a copy of the original sales receipt,
with defective product and a description of the defect. Send by insured
freight to: Gemini Sound Products Corp, and use the address provided by
your customer service representative. Your RA# must be written on the

outside of the package, or processing will be delayed indefinitely!

C. Service covered under warranty will be paid for by Gemini and re-

turned to you. For non-warrantied products, Gemini will repair your unit
after payment is received. Repair charges do not include return freight.
Freight charges will be added to the repair c harges.

D. On warranty ser vice, you pay for shipping to Gemini, we pay for r e­turn shipping within the Continental United States. Alaska, Hawaii,
Puerto Rico, Canada, Bahamas, and the Virgin Islands will be charged for
freight.
