solution is a key innovation

A medical software system for storing and
viewing medical images and clinical data,
the GE web-based PACS solution is designed to
meet the evolving requirements of the NHS. It
gives rapid access to patient images from virtually
anywhere and allows practitioners to collaborate
remotely with others to enable more rapid and
effective clinical decisions, as cost effectively
as possible.

The web-based PACS architecture enables easy
administration from virtually anywhere, via 100%
web access. And, importantly, it is completely
scalable to your needs, with the ability to add as
many users and modality licenses as needed. This
means you can start small and grow big.

What is more, client application installation is
effortless, freeing up administrator time for other
activities. It also allows you to bring your images
and results to life through seamless connectivity
to HIS, RIS, CIS, EMR and VR/Dictation systems.

No data migration required

If you are an existing user of Centricity* PACS EE and Centricity*
Enterprise Archive (EA), upgrading to our web-based solution
requires no data migration. This will simplify the IT implementation
effort, supporting your organization in saving time and money.

Virtualised server environment

Because of our virtualised server solutions, our Centricity* PACS
Web supports the reduction of your organisation’s carbon footprint
and power consumption.

Multi-site streaming

The Web-based PACS solution can be configured in different ways
to fulfill your requirements regarding data safety and system
uptime. It can also be adopted to fit into the current IT environment
managing multi-site installations, bandwidth limitations and
security requirements.

In particular it is multi-site powered, providing a scalable solution
that offers high speed with cross-site streaming of images even
on low bandwidth and protects patient data transfer using
encrypted protocols.

Integration and interfacing flexibility

Centricity PACS Web delivers imaging results to other applications
e. g. EMR. It supports enterprise-wide Single Sign On and provides a
Viewer API for HIS/RIS/EMR integration.
