•Use the + and - buttons on the BlackBox 24/7 or the remote to control the volume
Mode
•Press M on the speaker or MODE on the remote to scroll between the options (iPod, FM, AUX) N.B. iPod mode is only available when iPod is docked
For use with iPod
•Select and insert the correct iPod docking adapter to suit your iPod
•Carefully insert your iPod into the dock, the BlackBox 24/7 will automatically switch into iPod mode
•Use either the remote control or the buttons on the BlackBox 24/7 to navigate the iPod functions
•The iPod will automatically pause if the mode is changed
•The BlackBox 24/7 will automatically default to FM mode if your iPod is removed from the dock
•Your iPod will charge as long as the unit is connected to the mains power,
whether the speaker is switched on or off
For use with other audio devices
•Connect your music source to the BlackBox 24/7, by plugging the 3.5mm cable into the AUX in port
•Press M on the speaker or MODE on the remote to scroll to AUX mode
•Select the track and press play on your music source N.B. the remote will not control devices connected via 3.5mm cable. AUX mode is not available as an alarm function
For use as a FM radio
•Press M on the speaker or MODE on the remote to scroll to FM mode
•To auto scan, press and hold P and Q on either the BlackBox 24/7 or the remote, for one second
•To manually scan the frequencies, gently tap the P and Q buttons
To set the clock
The clock can only be set using the speaker itself
•Ensure the unit is switched on
•Press and hold M and E together for 2 seconds
•Press P and Q to choose the correct hour N.B. the clock uses 12 hour display only
•Press E to select
•Press P and Q to choose the correct minute
•Press E to select
Alarm
The BlackBox 24/7 has two programmable alarms, which can be set with either the remote or the speaker. The two alarms will share the alarm mode when they are both active
