Outdoor Lighting Timer with Remote Control

Before using your timer, please read the following instructions carefully.

FEATURES

• Wirelessly turns lights and appliances on/off up to 50’ or 15m away

• Choice of operating mode – dusk to dawn, 2, 4, 6 & 8 Hour settings or manual ON/OFF

• Dual outlets – can control two devices

• Easy to install – just plug it in.

INSTALLATION

1. Mount the timer onto a wall near a GFCI receptacle with the timer’s photo sensor facing
outward. (Note:) To ensure proper operation of automatic function. Ensure photocell
sensor is shielded from all night time sources of light i.e. floodlights.

2. Nail or screw head must extend at least 3/16” out from the wall (nails or screws not included).
Hang the receiver from the slot on back of the unit onto the nail or screw. Plug the power
supply cord of the receiver into the outlet.

3. Plug the device cord into either of the two receptacles at the bottom of the receiver.

PROGRAMMING ON/OFF SETTINGS

Rotate the dial on the timer to select one of the following settings

Dial position Function

OFF Power OFF

ON Power ON

DUSK-DAWN Powers ON at dusk, OFF at dawn

2 Hrs ON at dusk – OFF in 2 hours
4 Hrs ON at dusk – OFF in 4 hours
6 Hrs ON at dusk – OFF in 6 hours
8 Hrs ON at dusk – OFF in 8 hours

TIMER AND REMOTE INTERACTION

Your timer includes a remote control allowing temporary override:

• Temporary override ON: turns the timer ON for desired settings (2, 4, 6 or 8 Hours).

Please note if your timer dial position is preset it will restart from ‘0’ and count until it
reaches the time set on the dial.

• Temporary override OFF: turns the timer OFF for 12 hours before switching control back to the timer.

DUSK-DAWN

2, 4, 6 or 8 HRS

Press the remote and it will go into a
manual restart mode. The timer will restart
from ‘0’ and count until it reaches the time
set on the dial, or dawn time. Please refer to
examples below for further explanation.

Timer set to DUSK-DAWN
When DUSK = 6:00 PM and DAWN = 5:00 AM
If at 4 :00 PM REMOTE activated to ON --> OUTPUT ON and stay ON until 5:00 AM.
Next day ON at DUSK , OFF at – DAWN
If at 10 :00 PM REMOTE activated to OFF --> OUTPUT OFF = 10:00 PM, and stays OFF
until DAWN next day. Next day ON at DUSK , OFF at DAWN

If TIMER setting is 2 HOURS (or 4,6 & 8 HOURS)
DAY OR NIGHT TIME
REMOTE ON --> OUTPUT ON 2 HOURS (4,6.8 HOURS) Then OFF
When DUSK --> OUTPUT ON 2 HOURS (4,6,8 HOURS) Then OFF

If DUSK is at 6:00 PM
(1) If at 5 :00 PM REMOTE set ON , then OUTPUT ON immediately until 8:00 PM (as
time count restarted at dusk time).
(2) TIMER ON = 6:00 PM, TIMER OFF = 8:00 PM. If at 1 :00 PM REMOTE set ON ,
then OUTPUT turns ON until 3:00 PM.
(3) TIMER ON = 6:00 PM. If at 7:00 PM REMOTE set ON OUTPUT ON until 9:00 PM(as
time count restarted at time remote activates to ON).
(4) TIMER ON = 6:00 PM. If at 7:00 PM REMOTE set OFF, then OUTPUT turns OFF
immediately until next day.

Antes de utilizar el temporizador, lea detenidamente las siguientes instrucciones.

CARACTERÍSTICAS

• Enciende y apaga luces y electrodomésticos de manera inalámbrica hasta una distancia de 50 pies o 15 m

INSTALACIÓN

1. Monte el temporizador en una pared cerca a un GFCI receptáculo que el fotosensor dé hacia fuera. (Nota:) Para asegurarse
del funcionamiento adecuado de la función automática. Asegúrese de que la fotocelda esté protegida de todas las fuentes de
luz nocturna, por ejemplo, reflectores).

2. La cabeza del clavo o tornillo debe sobresalir por lo menos 3/16 de pulg. de la pared (los clavos o tornillos no se incluyen).
Cuelgue el receptor de la ranura de la parte posterior de la unidad en el clavo o tornillo. Conecte el cable de alimentación del
receptor en el tomacorriente.

3. Conecte el cable del dispositivo en cualquiera de las dos tomas de la parte inferior del receptor.

PROGRAMACIÓN DE ENCENDIDO Y APAGADO

Gire el dial del temporizador y seleccione una de las siguientes configuraciones:

INTERACCIÓN ENTRE TEMPORIZADOR Y CONTROL REMOTO

El temporizador incluye un control remoto con anulación temporal:

• Anulación temporal encendida: Enciende el temporizador según la configuración deseada (2, 4, 6 u 8 horas). Por favor, tenga

en cuenta que si la posición del dial del temporizador está programada, se reiniciará desde “0” y contará hasta que alcance el
tiempo programado en el dial.

• Anulación temporal apagada: Apaga el temporizador durante 12 horas antes de pasar el control al temporizador.

Presione el control remoto y entrará en modo de reinicio
manual. El temporizador se reiniciará desde “0” y contará
hasta que alcance el tiempo programado en el dial o la hora
del amanecer. Para una mejor comprensión, consulte los
siguientes ejemplos.

Si a las 10 :00 p. m. el CONTROL REMOTO SE APAGA --> SALIDA APAGADA = 10:00 p. m. y permanece así hasta el AMAN
ECER del día siguiente. El día siguiente SE ENCIENDE al ATARDECER , SE APAGA al AMANECER
Si el TEMPORIZADOR se configura en 2 HRS (o 4, 6, 8 HRS, etc.)

CONTROL REMOTO ENCENDIDO --> SALIDA ENCENDIDA 2 HORAS (4, 6, 8 HORAS) luego SE APAGA
Al ATARDECER --> SALIDA ENCENDIDA 2 HORAS (4, 6 & 8 HORAS)

Si DUSK (atardecer) está a las 6:00 p. m.
(1) Si a las 5 :00 p. m. el CONTROL REMOTO SE ENCIENDE, entonces SALIDA ENCENDIDA inmediatamente hasta las
8:00 p.m. (por cuanto la cuenta del tiempo se reinicia al atardecer).
(2) TEMPORIZADOR ENCENDIDO = 6:00 p. m., TEMPORIZADOR APAGADO = 8:00 p. m. Si a la 1 :00 p. m. el CONTROL RE
MOTO SE ENCIENDE, entonces la SALIDA SE ENCIENDE hasta las 3:00 p. m.
(3) TEMPORIZADOR ENCENDIDO = 6:00 p. m. Si a las 7:00 p. m. el CONTROL REMOTO SE ENCIENDE, SALIDA
ENCENDIDA hasta las 9:00 p. m. (por cuanto la cuenta del tiempo se reinicia en el momento en que se ENCIENDE el
control remoto).
(4) TEMPORIZADOR ENCENDIDO = 6:00 p. m. Si a las 7:00 p. m. el CONTROL REMOTO SE APAGA, entonces la SALIDA SE
APAGA inmediatamente hasta el día siguiente.
